The red hyena's lips quirked in a smile. "In my experience, it's not the answers that are important, but the journey to find them." Indeed, if she had stayed in the lands where she'd been born, she never would have seen half of what she had, and certainly would never have found this pack.
"Perhaps we could...put your bones away and you could tell me more about the pack?" Marion suggested.

"Oh! Sure," she said, figuring that this would help teach Marion a little more about the pack. "I only found two good ones anyway, so that's perfect. I guess...then I can show you how we live in elephant skulls," she said with a sweet smile.
It was always a bit of a shock to newcomers, and the best ones went to the hyenas that fiercely defended them, but it wasn't too hard to patch a broken one up with scraps of pelt, dead plants, or whatever else you could get your paws on.
"I'll help you out as best I can!"
