 +Bloodroot+ Bloodroot was quiet shocked when his bite worked. Surprise might not even be the best word for it. Tharn might well be closer, but seeing the coming clawed toward him he let go of the hold with blood in his mouth and sprang back. He refused to let up though. The taste of blood only edged him on, only made his want to win that much stronger. Maybe he would not go to close to the warren leader if he won; perhaps it would be a safer thing to flee. With a forward spring he tried to scratch at the other rabbit’s stomach. It was possible a blow that could kill the Owsla, Bloodroot never even though of that possibility when he stood his ground to fight. He didn’t want to, and such an attack he was aiming only to win, and maybe scar the Owsla away. (( ooc: Dodge HP: 7 ))

All Rowanberry had managed to hit was air, but at least the hlessi had let go. Perhaps he had underestimated his foe. The other buck seemed unexperienced, but he could hold his own in a fight. It didn't matter if it was out of desperation, skill or just good luck. The owsla was forced to be way more defensive than he liked. He twisted his entire body to try to get away from the black bucks claws, but he could feel them connect with his side. Again, it was enough to draw blood.
He backed a few paces, breathing heavily, but then charged at his opponent, aiming low and hoping that the impact would get Bloodroot off balance.
Hard hit -3, 7 HP

+Bloodroot+ Bloodroot was again surprised, his claws had hit. Not the tender soft stomach but the other bucks side. No matter he scored a hit and huffing when the other buck backed away he thumped his foot on the ground. He was ready for the charge, he expected it to be higher but it didn’t matter he leaped away and twisted back to bite at the bucks back or even his tail or leg. He was growing a bit tired, unused to fighting like this. Running was more of his game and facing and Owsla was tough. There was also the risk another might happen by. If that happened, he would have to run. That wasn’t something he wanted to do. (( ooc: Dodge HP: 7 ))

Rowanberry smiled, despite the rather painful n** the other buck had delivered. It stung, but he was pretty sure that the bite hadn't pierced the skin. Rabbit bites could be very dangerous, especially if they started to fester later. He'd seen good owsla survive a fight, just to die later from bite wounds that had turned bad.
"Calling for reinforcements for me?" he mocked, "I'm sorry if I'm not enough of a challenge for you."
Someone was bound to come investigate after the hlessi was stupid enough to make that much noise. But in the meantime Rowan tried to get a bite in.

+Bloodroot+ Bloodroot shook himself, his ears back and his ragged fur along his back standing up like the hackles of a dog. “Maybe I am calling them in to watch a so called trained Owsla get beaten by me. How will it feel to go limping back once I have won? How will you explain my scent all over you? A wild rabbit like me.” He shook himself and casual groomed one of his ears. “Will you lie? Say you beat me? What happens when I come back little Owsla; and show them what little wounds I have.” Done with his mocking clean he charged forward and swiped at the buck, aiming now to shred his ears. “Let them see your marks!” (( ooc: No action Hp: 7 ))

Rowan was getting sluggish in his movements. He wouldn't be able to keep this up much longer, but he tried not to let it show. Either way he had bought valuable time and kept this violent hlessi from reaching the warren. Soon at least two more owsla would be here to kill the intruder or chase him away. The black buck fought ferociously, but his attempts at taunting seemed clueless at best.
"As long as you're kept away from our home I've won," he said with a low growl, "It's not about winning. It's about keeping threats away!"
He twisted away, and while Bloodrot grazed his ears with his claws, they weren't shredded. Rowanberry kept trying to bite the other rabbit every time he got close enough. He was forced to play a more defensive game than he liked, but right now he just needed to keep the hlessi occupied until help arrived. Light hit -1, 4 HP

+Bloodroot+ Bloodroot slipped away from the bite, his ears up and happy. “Why would I keep away? Maybe I could join, after all seems you need better Owsla. I could make a good one.” He had his own light scuffing wound but it didn’t bother him. He was not scared or very worried any more. H wanted to beat him, show him that just because he had a warren it didn’t make him better. So he aimed for the bucks ears again, he wanted to shred them, to make him always remember he lost to a lowly hlessi. “Frith smiles on me, I live as he did.” (( ooc: No action Hp: 7 ))

Despite his injuries Rowan was not planning to be a sitting target. He rose on his hind legs to meet the attack. He was no rookie and did his best to protect his ears by keeping them close to his head, but he was badly scratched on his front legs and upper body. He could feel the scent of blood, and he knew most of it was his own.
There wasn't much fight left in the owsla, but he could finally hear what he had waited for all along. Backup. At least two rabbits were coming closer and would be here any moment.
"Hlessi," he shouted harshly, "Violent. Feel free to kill him."
If the black male had any sense he'd run. There wasn't much Rowan could do if the hlessi decided to attack again, but he knew that such a decision would cost him dearly. Even if the brown owsla might not survive another attack, the black b*****d would surely be killed by the two large owsla entering the clearing.
Rowan might be beaten, but he was proud. He had not let this homicidal maniac get close to the warren.Hard hit -3, 1 HP Mei Silja I thought that might be a good place to end it. Heh... Rowan got his arse handed to him razz

+Bloodroot+ Bloodroot set his ears back and standing on his hind legs he looked the Owsla over, unafraid of the approaching warren rabbits for now. If this is all the owsla of this warren could do; the leader must be weak." He gave himself a shake and settled back on all legs. Looking around he hummed but then just turned his back on the downed owsla. With a bit of hesitation he bristled his fur then kicked dirt backwards to the other rabbit
He then ignored him and bounded off before the cowardly owsla could gang up on him. He had not expected to win this fight; but he had and found it was nice to beat a warren rabbit. (( ooc: There we are! Thankies for the rp!~ ))
