"Well it was a hell of a swing regardless." He ran a hand through his own hair stopping by his ear to flick Silvya a few times. "Sylvia's never done anything like that. She just... sings, out loud when her charge is ready."

He paused at that thought, could he have done that? A pang of guilt ran through him at the thought that he might have left Rep to be attacked like that. Still Rep was speaking and Ro focused in on the analogy smirking just a bit, "That, actually makes sense in a really odd way. Still pretty amazing how big that swing was."
When he glared Roland only seemed to shrink back a bit, "s**t happens man." He paused for a moment before offering a hand to Rep to help him up, "Hit up the kitchen maybe get some drinks then go wail on some training dummies, ten bucks says you can cleave through a whole stack of training dummies with that attack next time."
Rather then mock him he seemed to be encouraging.

The sun hunter seemed to ease up a bit, hurt but with the line of tension going out of his posture just a bit as the compliments, intentional or not, did their work. He couldn't help it. He smirked "You think singing is bad? Tracey makes like, ******** sex noises and comments. And people wonder why I get so ******** angry in the lead up to a charge. Count yourself ******** lucky."
Rep eyed the other man's hand critically, as if for a moment, considering taking the offered help. But pride quickly won out in that respective battle and he heaved himself to his feet on his own, leaving the other man's hand ignored. "Probably. I think what I'm going to do though is drinks, then a ******** shower." At least the showers had been quieter with people on somewhat more sporadic routines with the rebuilding work that was going on.
"You did okay by the way. Shadow run can be ******** brutal on newbies."

"Considering I doubt you've heard a Banshee 'sing' nor seen her sing in combat you have no idea what the inside of my head sounds like." He grinned, "Though I shudder to think what her or-"
His head was suddenly blasted with a wailing cry that quickly caused him double over rubbing his temples. Silvya for the record, found such a conversation about her ghoulish nature to be very very insulting.
"A-ah ah ah ah my head my head, new topic new topic. Drinks, shower, yeah drinks lets get drinks," he slapped the side of his head a few times, the left to be exact where Silvya was desummoned and in his ear before realizing Rep had ignored his hand standing on his own.
Somewhere through the echos of her wail he made out the compliment nodding a bit with a thumbs up. "Y-yeah. I'm either not a complete wash out for hunting... or just really ******** lucky oh god can we add advil to the drinks list?"

He snorted and headed out in the direction of the cafeteria, drinks sounded good. "I have no ******** idea what advil is, but whatever you want. Shame you can't add something to make it so you don't get pushed around by the b***h in your head."

"Y-yes well, I mean, think about it, if uhh you went up to a female hunter, and just started commenting say on her weight, her uhh 'O face' and stuff, she'd flip out and yell right? Wellllll that's kind of what... she did? She isn't talking now, I think she's having one of those silent fits where she just kind of glares at me in my head."
He was right about that, Sylvia had gone quiet but was still very much interested in the conversation, and even for a moment seemed to approve of the idea Roland was aiming for.
"S'American pain killers, not like hardcore, but for headaches and stuff." He shuffled after Rep letting him lead the way shaking his head just a bit still recovering from the wail.
"She isn't umm, pushing me around, I'm not really doing anything she wants I don't think. She just, is very loud and opinionated? Honestly I kind of missed her usual comments when we where trapped without them... she would have gotten a kick out of Caelius and the other guy."

"If I said that s**t to a female hunter, they'd flip out because most of the ******** women around here are bitches who don't know their place. Sounds to me like that's your weapon's trouble too. I mean, pretty and all but she can't really get away with being a ******** diva. She needs to man up a bit if she's going to be a serious weapon - like the last s**t you need is missing orders on a mission cause she's screaming in your head."
He smirked as he wandered - still shakily - through the building.
"And you mean H and Cael? What are you, queer or something? You shouldn't be like thinking of s**t-your-weapon-might-like. That's a ******** slippery slope, trying to see s**t through the eyes of a woman. Next thing you know you'll be eyeing up shirtless blokes and gossiping about s**t."

"Well regardless of WHY they flipped out, be it erm... not knowing there place." He said the words quietly, as if he didn't agree with it, and honestly he didn't Ceres was wonderful, and Candace was well, she seemed really swell the time they worked together so it was odd saying such things to be honest. "She uhh usually only bitches or wails when I piss her off. Durings missions she's actually rather agreeable. Though she likes to mime advice given to me from others like Ceres."
He paused for a moment, "She also apologized quiet a bit for that whole letting me drown in lava thing when her charge couldn't stop it."
Moving along after Rep he made sure to stay close, it looked like the larger hunter could drop over any minute from weariness.
"Yeah I guess that's who, I didn't know the other guys name." He quickly shook his head, "N-no I never said that!" He huffed, "It's more so that when she didn't I realized just how gone she was. Like... I knew she wasn't there but that really drove it home?" He huffed, "H-hey just because Sylvia has some lady boner for dudes making out doesn't auto make me gay or something...."
