Ceres did greet the sudden movement, and arm across her shoulders, stiffly at first. It was not expected, thus her reaction was to grow still until her mind caught up with her, reminding her who exactly this was. In reaction to his embrace, she wrapped her own arm absently around his waist. Both because it just 'felt right' to put it there, but also because she needed somewhere for her arm to go.

For a while she listened, and after he was done she knew that there was a small smile on her face. He had worried about her? "That day was kinda hectic, huh?" She mused in reply a second later, making sure by her grip on his side that she had no real intention of letting him just walk away from the embrace. Sorry Bix, you werent going anywhere.

Sqeezing him against her own side for a moment, she looked towards the sky, breathed in deeply... and then released her breath even slower. "I can't tell you it was all that pleasant... being melted alive." She could not even stop the shiver that went up her spine, something she was certain he would feel as well. "Though i imagine you might also know it as well.. you did feel it i assume?" His hand was on her shoulder when it hit.

"Though frankly, i dont blame you Bix okay?" She said looking for meanings behind his words, she had a sinking suspicion he might be blaming himself partially. "So dont get any funny ideas okay. That cave was pure hell, lava and explosions included. At least we all made it out in one piece." Sure she was sporting a new scar from the experience, but at least she had not truly been melted alive.

"Though i must say, i find it really adorable that you waited for me and worried for my safety." Shifting her body some, she turned her head, stood up on her tiptoes, and planted a gentle peck on the mans cheek. "Thank you."

Truthfully, she had been expecting to catch him off guard and get some sort of reaction. She knew all too well that Bix shared his emotions to the world like a banner smeared on his face, but still... she had no idea someone could turn that red SO quickly.

Even she could not do that.

As a result she felt her face too grow slightly warm, thinking quickly to try and ease away the awkward silence that continued, she scooted back towards her place at his side, and tugged him forward so they would continue their walk. " C'mon archer, you know I'm always careful. If i was not a paranoid, protective, stubborn S.O.B. i would not currently have a moon symbol on my butt." She smiled playfully, but still she nodded some too, she understood those feelings even though she seemed to make light of them. "That goes for you too you know, don't want me yelling at you again if you get hurt eh? I cant imagine that is pleasant."

There was a reason Sun and Moons go down first on the front lines. Suns because they were the ones whom ran in first... the powerhouses of deus. And moons because they were there to protect those Suns, and sometimes all the divisions depending on if they needed to put up their barrier walls. "A Moons gotta watch out for their Suns, even if sometimes those suns just cant seem to help themselves from getting hurt." She quirked an eyebrow at him for that one.

"Hey!" Ceres instinctivly moved her hip in the opposite direction to try and escape the torture, to no avail really. One of her hands flew out of no where a moment later and swatted at his.

"Your Moon huh?" Oh yeah Bix, she totally heard those words and found herself looking up thoughtfully at the idea. His moon, huh? In general Moons and Suns worked together... and, she would be lying to herself if she denied that she really liked Bix. He was...fun to be around, made her smile. She could be herself around him and he did not ask her to be someone she was not. If she had to be attached to a Sun, she would have chosen him in a heartbeat. Besides, Ceres could use this to her advantage at the moment. "Then as 'your' Moon i speak to 'my' Sun." She poked him on his side, double indicating who she meant. " and say i will personally b***h at you if you get a scratch on your handsome mug ever again." Her voice cracked and her tone turned out sounding more cranky than she wanted originally, realizing that she was being rather unreasonable and not caring in the least. Bix was someone she considered under her protection, so if he dare think he can injure himself he had another thing coming.

She chose to ignore the mentioning of Eris... or 'Discordia' as Ceres would call her.
