Kat is on the 7th floor
Going down a few levels, Kat arrived on the seventh floor. This one seemed to be more intact the the last floor she had been on. Or at least, everything wasn't cut and diced into fire wood.
Walking about the floor, she caught a glimpse of something staring at her--something with yellow eyes. Turning to see what it was, it was already gone. "Ugh..it has to be these damn costumes! I'm hallucinating from the heat!"
Grumbling she started back towards the elevator after having examining the whole floor. Hopefully Ceres was having more luck then she was.

Ceres is on the 6th Floor
Now that she was certain there was something fishy actually happening around here, Ceres made her way back to the elevator once she was done checking out that 8th floor.
Skipping down to floor 6, she came out more cautious... only to find that, once again, this floor looked as if there was nothing wrong here. Hm... was she hallucinating earlier?
Only once again, something yellow appeared out of the corner of her eye and vanished just as quickly. "Come on now just show your dang self..."

Kat is on the 5th floor
After thoroughly inspecting this floor, she found absolutely nothing of interest. Unless, of course, that deep, long and narrow gouge counted for strange?
In any case, she had no idea what it was this thing might be. So it was onto the next floor, for Kat!

Ceres is on the 4th floor
It seemed like every other floor was torn to shreds for her.... and the others had creepy yellow glowing eyes.
This floor was odd. After opening a few doors here and there, she finally noticed that a few of the rooms were torn to shreds. Though oddly, they seemed to be very....precise in their damage. The wreck was very clean, almost like it was done on purpose or with maybe a blade? Really well cared for claws?
Not really an answer.... she had one more floor to check, and it was the one where Allan was on. If there was something on his floor he did not find himself she might just boot him >8

Kat is on the 3rd floor
By the time had reached the 3rd floor, she was exhausted. This had to be some form of torture! She was sure of it! Allan was a sadist in disguise! Normally and area she had expertise in. Well played, Allan. Well played.
Off in the distance, she noticed a small flash of white that caught her attention. Moving to investigate it further, she found nothing when she got there. Okay..so there really was something in this building, but what? This was going to drive her insane!

Ceres is back on floor 2
Back on Floor two she was seriously NO closer to finding... whatever it was they were supposed to find.
Only then did she notice something glowing in the corner as well, upon closer investigation she found nothing at all.
The only thing she was currently wondering, was where the hell Allan and Kat were.... Making her way back over towards where Allen told them to meet him at, she sat down on the floor, crossed her moogle legs indian style, and waited for them both to show.

Kat is on the 1st and last floor
Almost as soon as she was off the elevator, she spotted that same flash of white in the distance. Whatever this thing was, it was mocking her! Running at full speed to try and catch up with it before she escaped, she came up empty handed.
"What the hell! Its gone again!"
:Hey Kat, why did the chicken-: -don't you even start!
If things weren't bad enough, now Xedis was cracking chicken jokes at her.
"Okay, there is nothing here. I'm going back."

Looking up she stared at the elevator, WILLING it to open for...someone..to step out of it. Finally when Kat did, the woman would have jumped. "Oh my god thank goodness i was starting to wonder if it was a damn GHOST town here."
"..Did you find anything?" She hoped the other was more fruitful than she was.

The elevator doors opened, and Kat moved to step off, but was startled by Ceres who was startled by her. Stumbling back, Kat nearly fell over thanks to her costume. Shaking her large beaked head, the hunter regained her footing and stepped off.
"Slash marks, gorges, yellow eyes looking at me funny--not that I blame them--and something white. Other then that..NOPE! How about you? And where is Allan?"

"Did someone say ghost?" Allan pretty much crept behind the two trainees, and considering he was a 6 foot something green cactus plushie, it really left room for the imagination as to how distracted exactly Ceres and Kat were. The Sun lead had also managed to collect in both cactus arms enough Square-Enix merchandise to last a good otaku for several generations. He beamed. "They said I could keep anything I found lying around!"
Well, that explained where he was for the last twenty minutes.
"Okay, trainee-tachi." Allan turned, just slightly, and a tiny Pupu flush fell out of his already very full arms. "What did you discover in light of this very important mission?"

Kat practically screamed and fell over when Allan suddenly appeared behind the two. When did he--how could he--why did he--"D-don't do that!" Aw hell, this day was growing more humiliating by the second. First she was stuck in costume, then she was chasing a figment of her imagination around upstairs, and now--she freaks out when Allan and Ceres find her again, and fell over no less! Coughing rather loudly from underneath her costume, Kat rose to her feet, not bothering to dust herself off.
Her gaze then landed on Allan's own discovery. So..while they were up stairs looking for clues, he was here hunting for goodies? Oh--wait. This was Allan after all. Sadist.
"Honestly--I have no idea. On the 9th floor, there were slashes all through it, all precise. The 7th floor I could have sworn I saw something with yellow eyes..I'm not crazy! Ahem, anyways..on the 5th floor, there was a large gouge in the floor--long and deep. And on the 3rd and 1st floor I saw a flash of white. If there is a ghost here, its white, with yellow eyes, has long thick claws, and has anger issues." She was no expert in finding out what they were! She was only good at killing the bastards! "The other thing I've learned is..I HATE THIS COSTUME!"

Even if Allans sudden voice would have been enough to scare the woman, KATS reaction was enough to make her freaking jump back to her feet.
Before feeling like falling over again, laughing. The giggled started at the scream from the costumes beaked mouth, in which Ceres made a comment along the lines of 'is that the chocobos mating call?', just to be an a*****e.
Come on SOMEONE had to say it.
That moment right there, when she saw Allan standing there holding all the con swag his cactus self could hold, was when Ceres decided he was her new favorite division leader.
"Pretty much the same for me. Floor 10 i thought i saw some sort of yellow eyes, Floor 8 there was some gashes in the ground. I thought maybe i was imagining the eyes on the upper floor, but i saw them again on floor 6. Floor 4 had really neat looking things shreeded, and i explored this floor for a bit before waiting for you all when i saw something white. I agree with Katobo over here though, but i have to say it might not be claws. It might have some sort of weapon too, those swipes were really...really neat. We could be dealing with more than one thing as well."
Behind the costume she smiled at her friends reaction to the costumes though. "Kat did you ever think the costumes might be an advantage? If whatever is in here underestimated us...well. Wouldn't that be better for us?"

"Thats the spirit!" Allan seemed extremely pleased that Kat was getting in character. "You should learn from your fellow Sun, Ceres, you have to feel the costume. Get in character, feel the chakra within."
The ground shook, just slightly, a glimmer of yellow down the hallway.
"All right trainee-tachi," this is what you need to do." The Sun lead, while still holding all of the toys, took a deep, deep breath, and then exhaled in an overly exagerrated style. "You need to breathe deeply. In, out. Let the spirit energy flow within you."
The ground shook, just a little more, the lights flickering ominously on and off.
"-And then when you have breathed enough energy, then feel the fire raging from within, you spirit fire energy, and realize that with that energy, you can overcome all bounds! Your options are endless! Only with great strength can you understand that the only bonds that matter is the greater strength of friendship!"
The ground shook quite a considerable amount, sending a few plushies toppling out of Allan's Cactuar arms, as a thin mist began to sweep over the hallway, everything growing just a bit darker as a shadow appeared from behind the Sun lead, advancing closer. There was a glimmer of light, a shine of yellow eyes and-
A strange creature stood, breathing heavily, carrying a single lantern. It raised its sword, ready to claim its next target-
- "Good luck trainee-tachi!" Wait a second, how did Allan get behind Kat and Ceres again. OOC TONBERRY BOSS HP 60/60- All regular battle attacks + Fear attacks with charges can be used. Please note, every time they attack, the tonberry does 10 total damage to the two trainees. - MOON HUNTERS: Moon Hunters can DEFEND instead of attacking. Defending now of course accumulates charges if successful. For this battle, Moon Hunters can roll 2d6 instead of 1d6 to determine their defense and QUOTE ONE OTHER TARGET. This will defend them BOTH for the damage. (Ie, if I roll 3,2 and quote player B, I will defend me and player B for 5 damage each). - Sun Hunters: Sun Hunters can choose TWICE to DOUBLE THEIR DAMAGE. You can only use this TWICE, so pick and choose which posts, and simply double the damage that you normally would do. Ie: I roll 6, 6 and decide I'm going to double the damage. I now do 12 damage. This counts as one round used for double. - Make sure to post all battle stats at the bottom of your post as well as the boss's total HP

"...Kat following the character within?" That definitely made Ceres give both Kat and Allan a look. No offense but all Kat has been doing mostly was saying how much she HATED that costume... were Chocobos emo in the game or something? She had no idea, she had only heard the names from other people. She had never actually played any game with them. Though there was little time to be thinking about that, because their tall dark ******** scary monster decided to show up. "I knew it was a blade..." Those markings were far too precise to be claws. Still though, They MUST have put the two of them together for a reason. A sun and a moon promoting together? No coincidence. "I got your back." She said momentarily, summoning Takeru into her palm. Ceres would not be needed to attack here, and... she flicked her eyes over her shoulder. Allan could take care of himself. HP: 40/40 Defense: 6 Target: Defending Kat and Herself Tonberry's HP: 60/60

Kat coughed again, rather loudly when Allan commented on her being in character. When Ceres questioned it, she brushed one wing off and nodded. "Y-yes. I was totally in character." She was lying through her teeth, but anything to save her the shame of having screamed and falling over in front of both Ceres and Allan.
Though..she really did have to question Allan's mind sometimes..
Kat's balance was almost lost when the large quake hit, but managed to keep it the second time it hit. "What is that..?" Was that what she and Ceres had seen? It looked like a walking green wart! But with..a knife. That was what caused all the damage upstairs? That?
Not even sure when Allan manged to get behind the two of them again, Kat decided not to dwell on the thought. "Thanks." She smiled behind her mask, summoning Xedis as well.
With Ceres' defense at the ready, Kat took this time to shoot at the creature. Oh well..it didn't do all that much, but hey! At least it hit!
