The room fell into a silence. Mion looked at Oryo, with slight concern. She leaned over and whispered to Oryo,
who in turn, nodded at Mion and waved her hand.
Mion stood up and bowed at her family before directing Chiiri to stand up.
"That's enough for now, come, let's go."

"Wh-what..? Oh..Well, thank you all for your time." She said, bowing once more. "It was a pleasure to meet all of you, and I hope I can make you proud to have my family in the village." She forced a smile before standing up and leaving with Mion. When she was outside the room, Chiiri turned to her with concern. "Did I do something wrong? Did they not like me?" She knew there was no way it was that short. Oliver yawned, stretched, and trotted over, crawling up to Chiiri's shoulder.

Mion slid the door shut behind her and nodded her head toward the hallway for Chiiri to follow.
As she walked she smiled.
"You didn't do a thing wrong. Bachan just can't really talk to you about the business that adults usually handle.
Also, she is becoming ill. So she can't do too much
speaking at the time."

"Oh...thank god." Chiiri said, letting out a heavy sigh. Oliver seemed indifferent. All this huffing and puffing tired him out. "Well, thank you Miss Mion." Chiiri smiled. "I don't know if I couldn't have done it without your help."
Oliver let out a yawn in agreement.
"Oh...um... By any chance..do you know where the school is? I'm late, I know.." Chiiri's eyes dropped to the floor. I wonder if I'll have friends here...

"Hm? Oh, well actually school is out by this time, but if you don't mind waiting for me to change, I wouldn't mind showing you around."
Mion opened the door to her bedroom and gave a smile.

"...Oh."
Summer. Right.
"Yes, I can wait." Chiiri said, sitting down in the hall with Oliver in her lap. She stroked his back, and rested her head against the wall. Being in a new town can be overwhelming, and doing it without your parents is even worse. "I hope they get back soon, Olliver." Chiiri said with a sigh. At least she had Miss Mion to show her around. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad.

Mion tossed off her kimono as soon as she shut her door. Finally! I can get out of the house and go play!
I think they're setting up for the Watanagashi right now..
I'll take Chiiri there first and then..Mion paused,
as she finished putting her shirt on and reached for her gun strap.
I wonder...
After a few minutes Mion stepped out of her room in her day time clothes, ready to go.
"Sorry that took so long! Ready?"

Chiiri looked up from Oliver. "Yes ma'am." She said, standing up, putting Oliver in her bag. Her bag didn't have much in it, just a blanket for her friend and a cat toy. She adjusted her hair bow and smiled. "Lead the way. I'm getting pretty excited about seeing the town! I haven't been able to get out much with all the unpacking." She stretched her arms over her head and yawned.

Mion lead the way out of the main house and through the gate.
"It's a lot of fun here, lots of open space to play in. And everyone is really nice since it's a small town.
Our school fits all the grades into a single classroom.
Incidentally I'm the eldest student."

It seemed like a nice summer day, so Rena as always was excited to go on a picnic with her friends. That is, if she could find them. It seemed that Keiichi wasn't at his house that day, which caused her much dissapointment, since he was always walking with her places during the school year. She didn't know to look towards the shrine for Rika and Satako, or around the schoolyard (even though school wasn't in session) so she decided to wait till later, and just go straight to seeing Mion. To her luck, she did in fact spot Mion as she was heading down the road, along with some other girl she hadn't seen before. Her eyes lit up as she rushed over to greet them. "Hello Mi-Chan, oh." She began moving around Chiiri observing her "Who's this?"

Mion smiled as Rena greeted them.
"Hello, Rena-chan! This here is Chiiri-chan, she just moved to Hinamizawa. So I'm showing her around. Care to join us?"

"My name is...Uh...Chiiri Shiiri." She stammered. She stepped just a bit closer to Mion. Chiiri wasn't exactly social. Especially not back in the city. Oliver peaked out the bag and looked the strange girl up and down, before yawning and going back in. "I just...I just moved in, actually." She tried to be as nice as possible. She was setting up her reputation, after all.

Rena glanced back at Mion "I'd love to join, I was actually trying to get everyone together for a picnic, it seemed like a really nice day out." She then turned to Chiiri "It's nice to meet you Chii......" at that moment Rena spotted an adorable kitty popping it's little head out of Chiiri's bag, she knew what she had to do. It had to be taken home. Rena exclaimed "that is the most adorable little kitty, hou-hou, you're gonna get taken home!" Rena snatched the cat from bag, and lifted it up, as she ran off down the road.

Mion watched as Rena saw Oliver and
immediately knew the horrible event that was to follow.
Rena was gone before Mion could say a word.
"R-R-RENA!!! You can't take the cat home with you!!!"
Quickly Mion began to chase after Rena,
urging Chiiri to follow her.

Chiiri didn't need any goading from Mion to run after Renna. "BRING BACK OLIVER YOU....HOMEWRECKER." Chiiri shouted, speeding past Mion. It was sure shaping out to be an interesting day...Rena seemed relatively nice, despite the catnapping. Chiiri couldn't help but smile as she ran after Renna, and it seemed Oliver didn't mind, either. Oliver was fine being held and loved on.
