"How? Maybe in the past I was here. My past self... which kind of blows me mind and makes me want to go cross-eyed." Tsui admitted, pulling herself up to her feet and allowing her friend to see her confusion in full. The whole 'reincarnation' gag was still new to her, something she never really thought about, though now seemed like the perfect time for her to force herself into learning about it. "The past Tsui seemed really stressed out, though why she'd be here to relax...?"

She trailed off, trying to gather her thoughts and her bearings but simply too overwhelmed with questions that couldn't be answered easily. She followed Kallichore towards the edge but didn't jump down with her just yet. She peered down at the bottom and mused the possibility of water being down there now that Kallichore brought it up, though she wasn't too eager to leap into this pool. "The last pool I jumped in, I was bleeding and fighting off a youma after taunting Benitoite. I say we walk down to investigate instead of taking a leap of fate."

It didn't take her long to join Kallichore's side and she was willing to make the trek down first, keeping one hand on the wall and the other out for her friend to grab. When she shot her a question that she felt she could actually answer, Tsui was ecstatic. "Baihu, or the English version, White Tiger, is the Chinese mythological creature of the West, represents the Season of Fall, element of Metal and the virtue of Righteousness. It's also a constellation of stars, made up for seven other constellations, one of which being my namesake, Tsui."

It was what she had gathered from her weeks of research and though it didn't seem like much at the time, it was definitely worth pursuing now. "Mao was another constellation as well, I think. I really only focused my studies on Tsui... I wonder what Mao has to do with anything..."

Tsui was expecting the scolding and she did not blame Kallichore for her initial reaction, as she had tensed her shoulders and cast her gaze downward towards her feet. Perhaps she could do what she usually did with Maddy and give her the big puppy eyes to get out of a lecture? Yet, it seemed that it was not meant to pass, and she couldn't help but allow her sense of pride to swell at Kallichore's admittance, though she held no anger against her friend for her little threat afterwards. She tried not to sound TOO proud of herself when she responded, knowing that Kallichore had every right to kick her butt but not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth and push her luck. "I'll admit, it was a stupid idea at the time. Trust me, I have no intention of taunting Benitoite again..."

Then she added with a small grin. "Openly, anyway."

She put enough distance between the two to avoid a back slap, and when they had made it to the bottom, Tsui took a risk and placed one of her legs into the water to test its depth, and she stood in it when it was revealed to be shallow. "Good thing we didn't leap down. We'd break out ankles in this depth..."

Tsui looked towards the tripod but she didn't approach it. She had seen entirely way too many adventure movies like Indiana Jones and National Treasure to risk touching it outright and triggering a trap. She wasn't afraid, just... cautious. And reasonably so. In response to her friend's question, Tsui answered truthfully, before moving towards the two pillars and the tripod at the center to access the area. "Maybe; these markings could be religious in some way, and I know prayer might be relaxing for some people. Not me, personally, but maybe my past self was a religious nut?"

When she was within arms reach of the tripod, she looked back at Kallichore and threw back a question. "You think it's boobytrapped?"

"Don't worry, I'll make a list first and run them by you, and if there are any that you really like or fit your temperament better, than you can have them!" Tsui said with a snide grin, knowing that this was only fueling her already enlarged ego but never the one to know when to put a cap on it or say 'when'. Nevertheless, she didn't have much time to indulge in witty conversation or what insults she may have already had in store for the next encounter with the general, as she gave the tripod a poke and couldn't keep her comment to herself. "If this is a seat, than it doesn't look very comfortable. Then again, maybe it's because I'm spoiled... throw a few cushions on this thing and it should be manageable."

It was a frail attempt at humor, one that not even she could get a snicker at, and Kallichore's questioning about her home constellation and her past self drew the more serious side of her out again. She felt bad that she couldn't give Kallichore any solid answers, but that didn't mean she couldn't try. "She mentioned this Mao being a sore loser, and that she wanted Baihu to be united, but not in the way that Mao had it. Maybe she waited until past Tsui had left and tried to consolidate her power, which means she more or less... invaded the other constellations?"

It was a shot in the dark, but that's all that Tsui of the present could come with at the moment. It was simply something that she'd have to visit her own homeworld to investigate, and she didn't want to make any unnecessary assumptions and give themselves the wrong impression entirely. When Kallichore called her over, she glanced at the familiar symbol, and she couldn't help but allow her surprise to be seen in full, as her eyes went wide and her normally boisterous voice trailed off. "It looks that way... but... why would her symbol be so much bigger than those around it? I wonder..."

She moved a hand to touch it with her glove-less fingers, trying to brace herself for a vision, and while there were no immediate flashes or visions, she could not deny a sense of deja vu that passed over her. She felt a hand press down on her shoulder in a comforting manner, and she spoke to Kallichore, as she moved her free hand to return the touch. "There's no doubt about it then. Tsui and Kallichore are connected somehow, and maybe going to Tsui will help uncover who the other woman is."

She may have been spooked by the ordeal-- witnessing her past self talking to the green haired lady and finding out that Kallichore and Tsui may have shared a connection was a bit unnerving, yet Tsui couldn't help but feel excited as well. And the very notion of taking this investigation back to her home constellation of Tsui REALLY got her shaking in her boots, but she had to keep focus and remain outwardly calm, lest Kallichore think she too skittish to follow through with it. Quite the opposite, actually! "Trust me, first thing I'm going to do when we get back to Earth is prepare for the trip to Tsui. But... I'm going to ask to go on my own first, before I bring you along. You know, should it set me on fire because it's a flippin' ball of gas, I'd rather not take the both us down in a blaze of glory just yet."

Tsui followed after Kallichore after taking one last fleeting glance towards the wall painting. Her questions would have to go unanswered for a few days more, it seemed, but she was determined to get answers, for both herself and her friend. "My pleasure to help in any way I can, Kalli. Don't worry, we'll get to the bottom of this, even if we have to find a way to grab the visions and beat the answers out of them!"

The Senshi of Tigers was eager to get home, though it was not due to wanting to get as far away from her friend or her beautiful home. She had some research to do, and she was GOING to have answers for Kallichore, one way or another! She wasn't going to let her friend, nor herself, down...
