Nurse Mortem
The Demon Nurse "Sure thing!" Said Nurse Mortem as she removed her hat and set it outside the arena. She went to one end of the field and got into a fighting stance she had learned when she took private lessons. "Don't be too rough! Remember I have to heal us after we're done," she said.

  ｡◕‿◕｡ Silver nodded, turning her arm into a sword. Good. she simply said, standing up straight and waiting for the Nurse to make the first move. I wonder what sort of Power she has..... Silver thought, keeping her Room just at the edge of her consciousness so that she could draw upon her Black Power when if she needed to.

Nurse Mortem
The Demon Nurse "Alright here we go!" Nurse Mortem said, realizing Silver was waiting for her to make the first move. She ran forward, jumping in the air towards Silver, spinning and extending her leg to try and kick Sliver in the face.

｡◕‿◕｡ Silver dropped to the ground, letting Nurse Mortem sail over her. When the nurse was just behind her, Silver stood up and pivoted, aiming a punch at the nurse's stomach.

Nurse Mortem
The Demon Nurse Nurse Mortem went over Silver, landing quickly behind her. "You're quick," she said, impressed. She raised her right arm as the fist came at her stomach, blocking the punch. The force of the punch knocked her backwards a few feet. She looked down at her arm where a bruise was already forming. She quickly held her other hand over it, causing it to disappear. "I hope you don't mind if I heal in battle," she said teasingly. "It's one of the perks of being a nurse ya know."

Nurse Mortem
The Demon Nurse The flat of the blade caught Nurse Mortem in the arm, sending her stumbling a step. She quickly recovered and turned. She spun, kicking with one leg and spinning to kick with the other, sending two quick kicks towards Silver.

｡◕‿◕｡ Silver had time to tighten her muscles just before the first kick hit her. It bounced off, leaving a bruise and Silver stepped to the side to avoid the second kick. You're pretty quick as well. She complimented, turning her arm back to normal and making hundreds tiny blades come out from her back and arms instead. Any contact moves would hurt the Nurse more than they would Silver.

Sabrewolf123 Nurse Mortem
The Demon Nurse "Well I - oh dear," she said as Silver made hundreds of tiny blades come out of her arms and back. She saw that it would hurt for her to attack but she decided to take some damage to use one of her abilities. She rushed forwards, stretching out her palm to hit Silver in the chest where her heart would be. ((Nurse Mortem is attempting to use one of her abilities: Heart Shock: Sydney places her hand on the chest of her target, right over the heart. When she activates her ability a shockwave of magic energy emits from her hand traveling into the heart of the target, sending it beating wildly off-rhythm. This isn't fatal, but does cause temporary side effects lasting for several minutes: Loud ringing in ears, loss of feeling, confused/muddled thoughts, loss of balance, muscles seizing up and slowed breathing. ))

｡◕‿◕｡ Silver saw that Mortem was targeting her heart, so she made some tiny blades erupt from her skin there. That was all she had time to do before she was hit with a wave of energy, making her heart beat faster. Whooaaaa.... she thought, taking control of the magic and redirecting it to her blades, making them vibrate as they expelled some of Nurse Mortem's power. No time. she thought, drawing on a tiny bit of her Demon's power. This gave her a reflex boost, and brought her almost back up to normal. Oh, thats cool. she said, taking a step forward and kicking at Mortem's chest, attempting to hit her solar plexis so that Silver would have some time to finish getting rid of the effects brought on by the wave of energy.

Nurse Mortem
The Demon Nurse "Thanks! Oof!" she replied as Silver kicked her in the chest. She fell backwards, landing on her hands and pushing herself to her feet in a flip. "Normally, it's used to shock patients back to life when their heart stopped beating. At my old hospital I had to use it when no one was looking since they weren't fond of demons," she said.

｡◕‿◕｡ Ill bet. Silver said, expelling the foreign power as quickly as she could, creating a haze around her. After a few moments, it was gone, and Silver grinned, stretching and running forward. She was two feet away from Mortem when she put her hands on the ground, the momentum from her short run swinging her legs upward. Silver waited until her feet were pointing at Mortem before kicking out in a single explosive movement, aimed directly at Mortem's chin.

Nurse Mortem
The Demon Nurse Nurse Mortem saw the kick coming and tried to lean back letting it go over her head like she'd seen other people do. Unfortunately she didn't lean back far enough and only managed to expose the bottom of her chin which caught the full kick. She flew backwards, landing on her head and upper back. Her legs came down and she lay on her back on the ground for a moment, trying to reorient herself. She slowly climbed to her feet. "Let's pretend that didn't happen," she said with an embarrassed laugh as she felt her chin. Nurse Mortem ran forwards, reaching back to throw a good old fashioned punch square at Silver's face.

｡◕‿◕｡ All right. Silver agreed, leaning to the right to avoid the punch at her face. Then Silver ducked down a little, attempting to punch Mortem in the ribs before she rebalanced after her missed attempt at Silver's face.

The Demon Nurse Nurse Mortem grimaced as she took a punch to the ribs and spun away. She was strongly considering using her demon form at this point, but held back, still uncomfortable with showing it. She came towards Silver again, slower this time as she weighed her options. She went for a lower punch this time, aiming for Silver's stomach.
