Tsui was expecting the worse fate imaginable at this powerful Negaverse officer's hands, and in truth she deserved every ounce of it, without question. She had the nerve to challenge him, someone who she had absolutely NO chance of beating, even if he had been tied down or his limps cut off by some random chance. And as dark as her own words were, her confession and the honest truth behind it, she had regretted ever saying them. She simply loved to fight... and if that made her a terrible Senshi, then so be it.
Yet, she was not expecting him to not only leave (and allowing her, someone he knew to continue fighting against them), but the information that he had dropped at her feet before his show of mercy (even if it was below him to kill an enemy so weak, Tsui wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth on this one). She wanted to stop and ask the details of all of these questions, and yet, she simply had no strength to stop him.
The moment he vanished, Tsui felt all strength in her legs leave her, and she went crashing down onto the rooftop, and despite herself, she could feel tears wanting to swell up. She had survived an encounter with, perhaps, the strongest individual she had ever felt, or ever will feel (though she hoped that there weren't anyone stronger than him... and that if there was, she'd be a little bit stronger herself before she ever thought to take him or her on). With minimal physical injuries.
Tsui wasn't going to deny the truth of the matter that she was extremely
lucky, and while a normal person would have been humbled by the experience, Tsui felt... accomplished. She had survived an encounter with one extremely powerful enemy, one that she would definitely
avoid in the future, but one that felt that she was leaving alive. Yes, she felt accomplished, but perhaps it was her own pride, her own hubris refusing to allow the truth of the matter sink in.
A victory was a victory, no matter how small it was, and Tsui had absorbed his words before he had left. She would have to search into the Blood Moon Court business, first and foremost, as she had known one or two Senshi that could enlighten her to that. But for now, she just sat there on the rooftop, laughing softly to herself (her shaky nerves getting the best of her, no doubt), and grateful for the chance to live, learn, and fight another day.
