Freak squeeked as Devith spoke to her, flickering in and out of between a few feet above him before dropping back down. She chattered a moment before delicately landing on his neck, dropping her weight slowly in case he snapped like her green one did.
Courath just kept a quiet eye on the little flit. At least she had learned not to sit on Courath's bandages. She didn't hate the hatchling, it's just being woken suddenly with tiny claws in your bandages was not a pleasant experience. She knew Devith would probably burst a vein if Freak had a tantrum on his hide.
"Ohhh Hekate!" Dizzian breathed, hands fluttering by her grinning mouth. "He's a wingleader too?" Well that at least explained his cocky attitude at the gather but still! Shouldn't he be setting a better example? Her excitement fell a couple notches at Hekate's next revelation. "He's following you?" She glanced quickly around them, dropping her voice. "That doesn't sound good to me Hekate. You're a weyrling! He hasn't tried to...force you or anything has he?" The red heads girlish fluster and delight at the attention had Dizzian's mental alarms ringing. She knew Hekate knew of their restriction and the bronzerider should as well but if he was going so far as to stalk her! Dizzian remembered the predatory way he had snatched her friend away, their 'enthusiastic' dance and the loud crashes and yells as they fled back to their tent.

Devith held still and allowed the little green to land on his neck eyeing her carefully, but did nothing to dissuade her. He simply kept a sharp watch to let the flit know that while she was welcome to roost on him that any attempts to act up would be frowned upon.
At Dizzian's sudden worry Hekate was quick to reassure her friend. "Oh no no it's not like that! He's not stalking me!" She quickly replied, but kept her voice low a playful grin dancing across her lips. "I know well my limits and I'd never so much as dare endanger Devith and he's well aware of that." Hekate added and chuckled as she thought about the way the bronzerider seemed to hover over her when they were in the same area.
"He just seems to have gotten it into his head that I'm HIS weyrling and that he has to protect me from all the dastardly riders that might take advantage of my naive innocence." Hekate replied making a silly scary face and curving her fingers like claws when she mentioned the word dastardly. She soon dissolved into giggles though at the memory of Z'fer looming behind her scaring of a blue rider or two. Then again it wasn't as if the bronzerider had experienced first hand how capable Hekate was at fending off anyone who got a touch too handsy, that is if Devith didn't get to them first.
While I do not feel he is worthy of Mine's presence, his dragon is quite good company and the two-legger bronze often saves me the trouble of warning off those less worthy of Mine and I's time. Devith crooned reassuringly to Dizzian his tone matter of fact though there was a touch of jealous disapproval when he spoke of Z'fer.
Reaching a hand out Hekate stroked her dragon's eyeridges lovingly. "Don't worry Devith none can compete against the likes of you in my heart dear King of Mine." Hekate assured him with a gentle smile before turning back to Dizzian.
"Besides he has plenty of skirts about the Weyr to chase besides mine. I simply appear to pose a fun distraction to him since Wingleader or no I'm not afraid to talk back and won't be bullied." She replied with a grin though at her next words rang a little less cheery then her first. "Sides~" She shrugged. "Just watch he'll get himself smitten with the next Queen to rise like every other bronze and won't spare me another glance."
