"But are they fun?" He asked about the plant game. "Yeah, I'm faster. But then she takes off with her wings, so it doesn't last long. She says it's using her head when I tell her it's cheating." He wiggled again excitedly, "Sometimes she throws flowers at me then!"
He pointed at a random plant," What's that one?"

Westrion shrugged, “To me it is fun.” He made a face as he listened to his friend talk about his sister’s escapades in flight, “It may be using her head, but it is still an unfair advantage. Why does she throw flowers?” The brother-sister dynamic was something new to West and he was not sure if it was normal or an odd occurrence. He looks at the random plant and smiled, “that is a Lady Fern; you can use its roots once they are dry and grounded into a dust to help heal wounds.”

"How do they heal wounds?" Lumen Anor asked curiously. He was eager to learn, to make friends with this new foal who decidedly did not throw flowers. He shrugged, "I don't know, she thinks it's funny. So I throw leaves back. It's just fun, doesn't hurt. I love her more than anything. She's very protective of me."
He paused, and though not for the first time, about his sibling. How would things have been different with him or her? Would their parents still be together? Would Silva love him as much?

“Lady Ferns help relieve pain from minor cuts, insect stings and minor burns, and it works amazingly well to relieve pain from stinging nettles.” The young colt recited from memory and smiled at his new friend, glad that he was not boring him with his herbal knowledge. His head cocked to the side as he tried to figure out what was funny about tormenting someone by throwing flowers, “Do most siblings interact this way?” His friend had an interesting family dynamic and Westrion wished to learn all that he could from his wingless companion. “Your sister sounds like an interesting filly.”

Lumen Anor bobbed his head along, attempting to absorb the information. His father was often telling him about plants and healing. His mother was who many called 'mother nature." Nature and healing was in his blood so to speak, and yet he didn't know much of anything about it.
He knew that he needed to focus more on learning the herbs. He did want to follow in his father's footsteps, but sometimes it seemed so hard to remember things. But he had to, he had to try.
"I don't know, she's weird though. But she's mine," his sister and that's what mattered. "Is that how you act with your brother? I mean...we don't get around other foals."
