Servants ? She must be rich then, or influent. Perhaps both, for all he knew. Well, having room to spare kind of hinted at that now that he thought about it.
Still, the idea of food at least was attractive. If he had to clean up one more filthy a** toilet, Xander was quite certain he would flip his s**t. The list of things he would rather be doing was more or less infinite.
"The chances that she will allow you to refuse are statistically non-existent, Xan." Oh, Isabella could tell what her companion overlooked. Or part of it. The Numbers that came from the woman were infinite, always in flux. Calculations blinked in and out of the AI's awareness so quickly that she simply could not keep up with it. It was what had made her notice the woman to begin with.
"Perhaps." Did he feel lucky ? Well, he figured it was luck enough than he and the others still in stasis were still alive. Still he didn't like leaving them - and Izzy - without anyone to watch over them for too long.
"...There are others." He finally said. "In stasis. Izzy can lock the door but..." He didn't like leaving them alone. At all. "...If someone could keep an eye on thing every now and then while im not there I... wouldn't mind as much."
"...That was surprisingly heartfelt of you, Xan. Are you worried about me ?"
Of course he was worried about Izzy. She was just an AI, yes... But she was, in a way, the only friend he truly had. Still, he remained silent on the subject.

Cosine thought about this for a few moments to herself before coming to a solution in her mind. Weighing possibilities was of course one of her strong points. "I will arrange for a guard to watch over the others. You do not need to worry about them." She glance off across the camp for a moment before looking back to the man and his machine. "You can follow me now if you like. I can show you what I have to offer and then you can make an informed decision. To my mind it is safer to be within the Pantheon than outside.

A guard... Was better than nothing, at least. But then again, if Izzy kept the door locked... As long as the satellite had power, anyone would be hard-pressed to make their way inside.
He was likely just being paranoid, but being paranoid was better than being sorry.
"That should help." He admitted. "...That is where Izzy is, as well. The main computer, at least. This-" He held out his wrist. "-is just a communication device."
"I would certain like to have a look at this 'pantheon', Xan. We might find answers there. If there are current star maps, then we can find exactly where we are."
Izzy was right, he had to admit. Looking couldn't hurt. right ? "Can always go have a look, if only so Izzy doesn't blow a circuit or something." He smirked.
"Your attempt to blame me for your own interest is a weak one, Xan. I think you are losing your touch." Could a computer sound amused ? There was certainly the faintest hint of something the the computerized voice.

"There may be star maps in the library." Cosine suggested. "Follow me." She started to lead the way through the camp back to the large gardens and buildings ahead. "Hmm, my other half might be able to help." She mused Ankou knew so much about other worlds. "The Pantheon is an intriguing place, like many worlds and dimensions within one building."

Significant other, hm ? That could also be dangerous in itself, if said significant other was the jealous type. "Really ? What does he does ?"
Quite the trick question, even if Xander did not realize it.
Still, he followed - Izzy was right, he was just as curious as she was, if for different reasons.
Curiosity was probably gonna end up killing the cat, but he did not have any other lead.

Hmm now that was a question with a complicated answer. She decided as they walked into the Pantheon gardens. Did she go with the truth and freak the mortal out or gloss it over. "He travels, a lot." She shrugged a bare shoulder. "These are the gardens of the Pantheon. That there is the main building itself."

That was pretty vague, really. "Hmm."
"...Freaking..." Okay. This whole place, as far as he had been aware, had been extremely green and alive - kind of freakingly so, in it's own way. But this was even more so. And that building was huge.
"That's where those... gods you told about live, is it ?" Well, the name helped that particular notion. "You sure they'd want someone like me around ?"

Cosine laughed at his question, she hadn't meant to, it was just funny. He was clearly skeptical about their existance, which she could respect. Yet here he was talking to a goddess. "I am sure they will not mind. It is where they live. There are many mortals that live here, protected. This way." She stepped up into the stone structure of the main Pantheon with her bare feet. "You do not believe me do you? About the gods."

"I'd believe they're probably powerful, to be called gods." He shrugged. Yes, he was still completely and utterly missing the point. "But there's many races who pretends to be gods out there. Goa'luds, Eternals...." He shrugged. "Troublemakers for the most part. They used the less technologically-advanced civilizations for their own gain that way. If they had others worshiping them as gods and giving them everything they needed, then why work for anything ? So, yeah. You'd have to forgive me if I say I'll believe it if I see it on that one."

Well, Cosine couldn't argue with that. It was a logical argument and a belief. Of course there were some gods, she would not mention names that would baulk at such a thought, give him a demonstration of power, scare him into believing. Not Cosine. That was not what it was about. Belief had to be given freely or it meant nothing. Was not true.
"What if you already were seeing it?" She raised an eyebrow and started up the stairs. "Just something to think on."

A pink eyebrow rose in answer to that. Wait, what ?
"You are quite dense, Xan." Izzy chipped in, rather unhelpfully.
"So you're telling me you think she's a goddess ?" Xander was staring at the device on his wrist like if it had grown another head.
"Well, I cannot identify her genetic makeup."
"Then there might not be a sample in the database."
"No, Xander. I cannot identify her genetic makeup. There is not any."
"...Excuse me ?"
Well, the cat was out of the bag.

Cosine laughed as the truth was revealed. She liked this computer lady a lot. No genetic make up, well that was good to know, it meant what had once been human about her was now gone. "I am Cosine, the Counting Crow, goddess of Number." She paused as she stepped onto the landing that led to the hall of doors and looked up at him. "Though whether you believe that or not is your choice. I could do some things to prove it, tell you the binary make up of Izzy, demonstrate that One does embody sorrow, Two joy. However, I will leave it all up to you."

Ummmmmmmm.
Awkward silence was, definitively, very awkward.
That certainly was not the first time something like this happened, no, but this was the first time Izzy seemed to actually believe it.
"Ah... Um..."
Silence.
"...We were heading to the library ?"

Oh he was far too amusing. Cosine thought to herself as she watched the expressions flicker over his face. "No, i was luring you to my lair." She raised an eyebrow and gave a mock predatory smirk. Well if he thought she was a nut job it seemed a shame not to play a little.

"...Right."
"Do not mind him. This is the usual reaction to something he cannot explain." Had Isabella been human, she would probably be laughing right now.
"Well, if you had sought fit to tell me that before..." He poked his wristband lightly. He really hated when Izzy did that.
