Baffled silence. “Shoot, I don’t think I remember what exactly Excalibur was. I’ll have to look that up sometime.” Highly probable Wilson would forget to head to the library or become too lazy to search for a simple fact. “Probably,” he agreed. “Pockmarks.” A grinning Wilson turned toward Ariane. “That doesn’t sound spiteful at all.”
Once he finished smoothing out the tiny bumps in the plaster, Wilson took a step back to examine their progress. He frowned. “About how much longer should we do this until it’s good to call it quits?”

"Hey, who knows? People in Halloween might like pockmarks... Maybe it's like some beauty mark to them," Ariane shrugged, "Let's give him pockmarks. Halloween bitches love pockmarks."
When Wilson stopped his work, Ariane followed suit, stepping back from the wall as well. She let out a loud, drawn-out 'hm', paused for a few seconds, and then went back to hm-ing.
"I say it looks good enough to call it quits right now," She finally replied, grinning widely as she turned her head to look at her fellow trainee, "What about you?"

Wilson pressed his lips together then slowly nodded his head. “That’s true. Halloween seems like a pretty backwards place compared to our world.” There was wheezy, disgruntled huff in the back of his mind.
When the other death trainee stepped back, he leaned slightly toward her before he continued to examine the wall. “Yes, I wholeheartedly concur,” he answered with a grin and gladly put down the hawk and trowel, but was careful to not let the plaster slide onto the ground. “What do you want to do now? Get a drink and admire our work?” Wilson quirked an eyebrow.

"How about get a drink, full stop?" Ariane smiled as she rolled her eyes, haphazardly tossing her trowel on the floor before using her foot to push it to sit beside the hawk. In her opinion, there was nothing about the wall to admire, especially since all they did was fix it, and not beautify it.
"Your treat, right?" She chuckled, flashing Wilson a grin as she turned around to walk away from the wall; she was sure that the hot chocolate being served at the cafeteria was getting better.

“Alright.” He nodded his head and grinned.
Wilson chuckled as he ran a hand through his hair. “Yeah, my treat.” He watched Ariane walk away from the wall before he turned to follow after the other death hunter. “Just try not to order too much, okay? I’m not exactly swimming in cash.”
