Having spaced out slightly, James snapped out of it in time to watch Damon head over towards the island.
He stared down at his hoverboard.
I hate heights.
Then he stared at Corphish's pokeball.
I wonder if...
Shaking his head slightly at the fact that he had even considered something so abysmally stupid, he hopped on the board and headed towards the Sharpedo's silhouette off in the distance.

As Jude finished his trek to the southern shore of the island, he found that most of the Snagems had already left. "This," he gasped, "Is not the best impression." As he caught his breath and finally looked up from the sand, his eyes fell on quite a fabulous set of avian hybrids and...some other cute thing he couldn't quite describe. "Heeeeey!" he called, waving frantically with both hands. "Are you with the Snagems? I just missed your leader! Again!"

"Meh, I'm not sure how thermal energy works." Tsuki said with a shrug as he jumped into his Blastoise, who had entered the water. Slow on land, but Shellshock could blaze across bodies of water. Arthur joined on his Milotic, keeping quiet. This could get dangerous if the chi spike was being controlled by the enemy.

"We should head on ourselves... hm?" Sol momentarily stopped himself as he saw someone waving. A... Furret hybrid? There's been stranger things, he thought, as the three approached. Not to mention the team's predisposition towards the strange and unlikely, almost making this yet another day at the office.
"We are, and he has a tendency to move at times. Makes me wonder if that's why he jumps when I manage to approach him without his knowledge... In any case, I'll assume you are as well?" A Swampert would be released as he finished speaking, though judging by the expression, there was no harm intended. "If so, hop on. I'll see to it that you catch up."
Though Amaranth kept herself silent, she did give Jude a curious glance. Still learning a fair number of things about the world, seeing a hybrid of that sort was more of a surprise to her than it was for others. After Swampert went into the water, she'd get onto his back. There'd still be room for others.
Ceramew was quiet too, and under normal circumstances, she might've asked to pet Jude. But she didn't appear particularly inclined to do much more than follow.

"Oh, thank you, thank you," said Jude and without a second thought, gave Sol a quick hug before wading into the water and clambering up the Swampert's back with a native adeptness. It was a big water beast -- rubbery and thick. He at least wouldn't worry about losing his grip on the Pokemon. "I'm Jude. Totally harmless. I met Blizzard and Freth and as you can tell I'm not an ice statue yet."

The Snagems would head south, towards the source of the chi signature, the leader expecting the very worst. "Guys, I'm not going to lie to you, things are going to get ugly, I can just feel it. I'm almost certain we will run into those freaks, the Stone Society, maybe even the Hexagon Brothers again. However, thanks to Blusix we must might-" Before Sub could finish, he was cut off by the sound of GRAY's voice as he began to speak over the Snagems's SNAG devices.
"I'm picking up another strong chi signature, however not as strong as the first, and vastly different. It's coming from Three Island, Berry Forest to be exact. Wait! Make that two, I'm detecting another one from Four Island, Icefall Cave. What in the...there is one more, three in all, this one from Six Island, Pattern Bush. That seems to be it. The chi signatures are a lot like those that come from chi converters, I'm willing to bet it's the Hexagon Brothers again. I suggest investigating these three locations, however do not ignore the original signature." GRAY informed everyone.
"You hear that guys? I'm going to continue towards this unknown location. Chaos, you take Damon, Amaranth, and Tsuki and head to Four Island. Sol, you, James, Odd, and that Furret thing go to Six Island. Lykas, Cera, and Keiko go to Berry Forest." Sub told everyone, giving their orders.

Damon had been riding for a while now. The Sharpedo had been silent and just focused on getting through the sea.
Damon on the other hand was restless, the water was splashing on his face and in his mouth. He was cursing out the water under his breath. His irritation was short-lived by seeing an island infront of him.

"Y-yes, sir!" Keiko said, altering course for Berry Forest.

The hug caught Sol off guard for a moment, but he didn't have time to react before Jude introduced himself and gotten onto Swampert's back. "A rare sight to be sure." He quipped. "My initial meeting with them involved a punch to the face. But to get formalities out of the way, you can call me Sol. The green Pokemon you see floating's Ceramew. She's usually a lot more friendly than this."
He didn't take long to get into the air; no need to encumber Swampert further. Ceramew still didn't offer much of a reaction, as if she was in her own world.
"Amaranth." The other Ho-oh hybrid would finally say, moving a little so Jude wouldn't have to worry about a lack of space. Hearing Sub's response, though, she soon got off Swampert.
"Guess there's a slight adjust... in that case." Sol released Xipil, a Charizard, in response. "Amaranth, Xipil can get you to that island. I'll ensure Swampert's voyage with Jude. Ceramew, did-"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm going..." The little Pokemon would find her way to Lykas and Keiko soon after.
"...A regular bundle of happy today..." Sol commented before he opted to fly off, having Swampert hurry ahead. As soon as Amaranth was on Xipil's back, they'd go off for their destination too.

This was the first time he'd been called a thing. He'd been called worse, but at twenty-one years old, he couldn't have looked -that- androgynous. "Oh, neeeeiii I'm not a thiiiing," he loudly protested. "That's very mean! I heard you were a hulking, sparkling beast of a man but you don't see me being rude!"
Then, lower so only Sol would hear, as though he'd forgotten all about that slight: "Is Ceramew not alright, Sol?"

Sol began to answer, "I'm not sure how much you've heard of the chi spikes in the area, or the comet that's surely the cause. But there have been shards of it we've found, one of which managed to be absorbed into her. There was also a larger chunk from when this all started, but it's recently been unable to be found as well. As her being is unstable in itself, it has me wondering if there's been an influence. At least, she's acting like she couldn't care about anything. I was left with little choice but to drag her along, though after discovering I can molt, I'm not a fan of resorting to that."

Changing course, Tsuki would head towards Four Island with Arthur. "Here's hoping something doesn't go horribly wrong." he said closing his eyes as he rested on Shellshock.

Once the Snagems arrived on their islands they would find the places positively deserted, not even the Pokemon Centers was being watched over, the sick Pokemon evacuated, did GRAY's bomb threat work? Or was there something much more sinister going on?

"I see," said Jude. Poor guy. Those meteorite shards sounded mean enough on their own. To have them in your system? He didn't even want to contemplate that.
Once Swampert hit sand, Jude leaped off its back and shook the sea water off his clothes and fur. His hair, thick as it was, was drenched and he looked roughly like a drowned Rattata. "I overheard that AI on your little toy. Do you guys really have this sort of influence? To make everyone just...uproot? Like, if there's a tornado warning in Ecruteak, it's possible you're actually coming out to investigate and needed everyone inside first?"
