"And I agree, it was wrong of her to say that and she will hate herself when she remembers what she said, I am not making excuses for her but she is rather out of it when she gets like this and usually she would love to help the cub, she isn't one to just turn her back on a poor defecless animal but as I said, when she gets like this..." he said as he sighed, noticing his mother and aunt had finally come home.

"We will have to do this again soon" she said to her sister as she nuzzled her before looking around the cave and then automatically rand over to the cub "oh that poor darling!" She said as she looked at Thane "Thane, go get a towel from mothers, I keep dry ones there, Electra go get a fish from the lake, that would be healthier for him then anything we have here and when you bring it back cut it up into small bite sized pieces" she said as she watched the two go and placed yet another blanket on him, keeping the heat in as much as possible.

Odessa looked at the dragon, realising he was actually in her cave but meh, the cub was more important right now then bothering about that annoying dragon and besides, if it wasn't for him this cub could of died so she couldn't be completely heartless and kick him out of her cave now could she? "Right now, no, but if you brought the little one to me any later he might of died, it isn't that warm a night out there and him being soaking like he is he could of gotten hypothermia so really, right now, you have done more then any of us" she said as she looked up and noticed Lenore enter.

"Odessa, I came as soon as I could, I know that it isn't entirely safe to light a fire in this cave but as long as everything flammable is out of the fires reach it should be alright" she said as she moved everything away and let the pink Celestial enter, having pulled a wagon full of fire supplies.

Sayako stopped and let Lenore take off the rope harness that was around her once she had made room and stepped as she moved over and let her build a fire with what was in the wagon and laid down where Thane was previously.

Lenore placed some sticks down, placed some paper in the middle of them and then lit them, letting the fire take light of the dry sticks and paper and hoping it would warm up faster then usual, at least then she could stick a bigger log on the fire to let it burn longer.

Ambrosia laid on the Celestials head and looked at Odessa "how is he?" She asked curiously.

"I don't know, it depends on how long he has been like this" she said as she looked at the dragon "do you have any idea?" She asked him curious as she saw Thane fly in moments later with two towels in his mouth and flew gently over the fire and gave them to her.

"Thank you" she said as she looked at Lenore for help, usually a rough job at wiping the saturated cub down wouldn't of been too bad if he had just been swimming or something but he needed a proper rub down which she couldn't really give him so was glad when she took note of the look and got up and walked around the fire to help.

Electra walked in moments after Thane with a medium sized leafs sides in her teeth, carefully she walked over and placed it down by her sister and let the leaf fall open, showing the fish cut up but also some berries just incase he wanted something else "the mixed berries were just in case he wanted something other then fish" she said as she went and laid on the other side of the fire.

"Thank you" she said as she watched Lenore finish drying the cub off and who was now shaking still and let Lenore place him by the fire, carefully letting a blanket sit sit by said fire, close so the cub could be comfy and warm but not close enough to have it catch fire.

Odessa looked at the dragon "your the guardian of this child...well, sorta, you care to put a blanket around him? If you are wanting to help you might as well get used to taking care of it" she said as she passed him a new blanket from her pile that wasn't damp "and please, try not to light it on fire" she said, not caring if the blanket actually caught on fire just that the rest of her stuff in the cave was priceless to her but valuable never the less and she didn't want anything go up in flames.

Lenore got up and moved out of the way a bit as they proceeded to wrap blankets around the cub and what not and stayed by the fire, placing another bigger log on now that it had time to take light and burn for a bit.

Odessa mde a bit more room for the dragon and moved the blanket closer to the cub and started wrapping it around him "thank you and I guess we may never know then" she sighed, wishing she knew how he got there but at least he was here now so that was the important thing "may I ask where you are going to live? I mean, you can't really expect him to live under the lakes waters do you?" She asked, wondering if her daughter knew anywhere. "Wait, I have it, you can stay with Calliope! Or at least till you know where you are going to live, she won't mind given the circumstances surely..." she said as she trailed off and looked at Thane "Thane, go fetch my daughter please?"

Thane shook his head "sorry, no, I don't really feel like having my head bitten off, just ask her in the morning."

"You know how to calm her down, it is the only way shes ever been able to be calmed down" she said as she looked to Lenore "did you bring it?" She asked, knowing from earlier that she had been promised a few slices of Calliope's favourite chocolate strawberry shortcake, when she knew what her daughter was up to today she made sure she had some ready and waiting for her in case she was needed when she got home but wanted sleep instead of talking.

Ambrosia translated for the human who nodded "yes, though I only have six pieces of the twelve left, I had family come around so they were rather tempted by it so we each had two slices each" she said as she pulled out a place with chocolate shortcake with strawberries, fresh cream and freshly made caramel sauce on drizzled on top. "As sickly as it is it is delicious I must say" she said as she placed it on the ground and placed a piece on a small china plate and handed it to Thane "if this doesn't make Calliope wake up then she has gotten worse" the human said as she gave it to the Celestial.

Thane took the plate gently but firmly in his teeth and moved around everyone and started out of the cave, he might of been some great fighter but when it came to Calliope he just wanted to stay away from that battle, she could be terrible but he just had to think of how to do this on the way, thats was all.

"All we can do is wait, she has more then enough room so it shouldn't really be too much of a problem but this little one needs warmth and feeding to get his enegy levels up and his body temprature so a cave would be best, he should be fine hopefully but in cases like this when one is so young it is harder to actually determine if he would make it or not and since I am no vet I am just doing everything on instinct really." She said with a sigh "but hopefully this is all he needs, just constant care, warmth, rest and food till he is better" she said, hoping her daughter wouldn't be so against this, if she knew her daughter she wouldn't be but then given this dragon is involved it wouldn't be surprising if she said that the cub could stay but he couldn't, if she did know one thing she didn't like the dragon but since the cub is involved it would be best if the dragon stayed above ground if only till it was well again at least before he left it for short periods of time.

Odessa smiled at the cub and nodded "yes. it seems he is and he also seems he might be alright but still, over night observation is better to do then just let you take him" she said, not going to do anything else but watch him for the night "and nope, sorry, has to be done now" she said, always wanting to do what had to be done now then putting it off.

About half an hour later Calliope happily skipped into the cave followed but a walking Thane walked back in, Calliope was slightly hyper but all smiles, she was tired but still she was her old self again "good evening all" she said as she looked at the dragon "and I see you found the place alright, thats good" she said as she walked over to the cub and found a spot by the fire and laid down, leaning over to nuzzle the cub "awww he is so cute!" She said, licking his cheek a little.

Odessa looked at Thane "how much did you give her? You know only half is meant to be consumed by her, as long as she was able to be spoken to in a nice normal fashion then it would be fine."

"Yeeeeah, sorry about that but I needed to protect myself against her so I gave it all to her, I would rather her be up half the night before she actually crashes again then end up with no head, I'm sorry but I was desprate!" He said as he looked at her daughter "and besides, she actually seems better this way and it can help us, we need someone who can stay away most of the night, we will let her watch the cub and we can sleep, if she wakes us at Dawn it will be fine."

Odessa sighed "you are actually rather cruel you know that?" She said smiling at him, hating that her daughter was used as a babysitter when she was in this state but meh, nothing bad could become of it, she was technically still sane of mind and all so what could hurt? She let it "now, I want to ask you something darling" Odessa went on "can the cub and the dragon stay with you till he finds his own cave?" She asked, waiting for the objection.

Calliope looked up and nodded "sure, I don't mind as long as he doesn't over stay his welcome and leaves my stuff alone" she said as she went down and looked at the cub again "we need to name him!" She said, ignoring the fact he might have parents somewhere who have already named him.

Calliope looked at the dragon and sighed "that is because you don't do that, just let the cub eat it himself without help, it is a lesson being learnt then" she said as she placed the piece of meat down in front of the cub "it is nice to do it once in a while but really, if he is ever going to learn how to eat by himself he is going to have to learn sometime that a claw with a piece of fish skewed on it won't always be around...of course he is always hungry but still, as long as you watch and make sure nothing happens he can do it himself." She said as she smiled at the cub "it's alright darling, it is just what you have been eating but this time, try and eat by yourself" she said, knowing also that he has been through an ordeal but still, as long as the fish was right there for him then he should be able to eat it himself and it would also let him learn how to also, he should pick it up quickly enough but yes, i know, he has been through an ordeal but it is best now to move on and start being normal around him, i know it is harsh and we can still baby him a little due to it but the more we dwell on it they can pick it up so it is best we carry on as normal more or less" she said as she looked at her mother.

Odessa smiled at her daughter "so you have been listening" she said as she lent over and nuzzled her daughter.

"Considering you are obsessed with animals it is hard not to listen when you drone on and on and on and on and even on some more when I was growing up and even now" she said as she licked her mothers cheek "I might not actually be as obsessed as what you are with animals but I do still love them nevertheless" she said as she looked back to the cub "and as for a name...I don't know..." she said as she pondered a little on different names she had picked up throughout her time here.

((Aww he would love it! Then again so would Calliope, too bad she will want to see it more then she will want to see the dragon. XD;

So lets see, we need cat/tiger names...*goes and googles names*))

Calliope pushed a blanket around the cub a little before looking at the dragon "the name sounds perfect" she said smiling at him, having heard the name once before but ages ago when she was a child and it was just when she was walking past an adult when she was out taking a walk with her mother but never knew what it meant but hear it now just made it sound perfect. "Also can I please speak to you outside?" She asked quietly, deciding that since the little baby was now asleep talking to the dragon might be best, they won't be gone for long and the cub had a lot of others around to look after it for five minutes whilst they spoke so it wouldn't be too bad if they left for a little bit.

"Calliope, darling, are you sure you want to leave him?"

"You are here, same with Lenore, Aunt Electra, Thane, Sayako and daddy...it isn't like he is being left alone and it is only for five minutes and it is best to get this sorted out now then waiting till later" she said as she got up quietly and stretched before leaving the cave.

calliope walked over to the lake and dipped a paw into it, the cold water felt awesome and had she not been needing to talk to the dragon she would of gone for a swim, something she had gotten off her mother but now was the time to talk not swim "I would like to apologise for before" she said as she sat down and looked out over the water of the lake "what I said to you earlier about the cub was wrong of me, i had a taxing day and came home when I should of probably stayed over night before making the trip back from Greot but I just wanted my own bed. Ever since I was a child I never have been one to sleep over at different places, I have always preferred my own bed but that doesn't excuse what I said before about the cub, it was wrong of me but when I am in such an exhusted state you get what you got earlier and, as you can tell, only one thing has ever been really able to bring me back to my senses" she said with a sigh and looked back to the cave and then back at him. "and, as for before, I shouldn't of spoken down at you, treating you as if you were stupid about the whole food thing with the cub back there, it was also wrong of me and there are other ways I could of said what I did to you, I'm also sorry if I offended you in any way" she said, hoping he wasn't too upset with her, but she knew when she was wrong and knew she had to correct her wrong doings but now all she waited for was the screaming that she was certain was about to come and by right she did deserve it.
