Varteres motioned with his head in the direction of the stables, feeling his sister and Dea both there. It never ceased to amaze him how he could sense his sister more than ever since he had been bonded to Dea. All of her Azrein were connected, so could hear and sense each other pretty much where ever they were.
"She is in her stable with Deanna, I can sense Dea close to breaking down in there. She is trying to get Serenity to eat, but doesn't seem to be having much luck,"he explained.

Rogan didn't hear his brother.. The pull became too strong.. Too painful... Without knowing exactly where he was going, he followed his heart into the barn, over to his sister and this human who was so broken.. who could only be Serenity and Varteres' Chosen...
Rogan knelt.. Words coming out of his heart.. He must say them. His warm breath washed over Dea as he placed his nose on her shoulder, his wide eyes watching as his mouth opened. "Where your body fails, I shall be your
strength. When your judgement is clouded, I shall be your clarity. Whenever you feel broken and
lost, and feel as if life holds no meaning, I will show you the wonder and joy it holds, and will heal

Varteres watched his brother walk into the barn, almost like he was in a trance. He quickly followed after him and when they got there, he watched his brother do something all of Dea's Azrein had done in their own special ways. He looked momentarily surprised, but smiled, seeing another of his siblings would be joining his new family.
Dea had been in the middle of trying to get Serenity to eat, tears in her eyes that her dear Azrein wasn't eating very much, just enough to sustain the life in her. She was starting to wonder what else she could do, when she saw Rogan come into the room and kneel there. Her eyes widened in surprise as his breath seemed to wash over her and she felt a sense of calm. She listened to his words and she smiled softly, reaching over a gentle hand to place on his head.
"Thank you, Rogan. Welcome to the family,"Dea told him warmly, wrapping her arms around his neck. She felt the connection form and could sense him join her personal Azrein web, as he became a part of her.

Rogan felt a since of peace prevail his vanity, his walls tumbled down as he felt himself grow whole. He could feel Dea falling into place like the puzzle piece he had been missing his whole life. In the back he could feel Vateres and his prevailing happiness that Rogan had joined their circle.. He could feel Serenity... oh skies above... Serenity.
Rogan turned from Dea to face his sister, tears falling from his eyes. "Serenity..." He whispered hoarsely as he lightly caressed her shoulder.

Varteres walked over to stand beside Dea, allowing her to rest a hand on the side of his neck. He could feel his brother's presence more than ever now, a soft smile on his lips. Then he watched Rogan walk over to their sister and could feel his sadness, as Rogan could now feel her pain.
Serenity looked up as she heard her brother's voice and blinked in disbelief. She couldn't believe what she was seeing, her older brother was standing there with tears in his eyes. She wouldn't have known it was him, if it hadn't been through the connection he now shared with them. She had wondered who the strange stallion was who had spoken to Dea and told her he was her Azrein.
"Rogan....big brother....it is so good to see you,"she greeted weakly, looking up with a mixture of love and sadness in her eyes.

Rogan lay down beside Serenity, his warm body warming the cold, pink body of his sister's. "It is me, Serenity... You have grown alot..." he said, feeling the emotions of Serenity and Varteres around him, along with Dea inside him. It was a strange and unsual feeling, yet it was something he had been missing. This is why he had traveled so much... He just knew this was what he was meant for...

Varteres felt Dea stroking his neck, knowing she needed to do something to occupy her mind as she watched, hoping Serenity would be alright. They were both hoping that, since it was hard for Varteres to see his little sister like this.
Serenity watched her brother lay down beside her and felt his warmth start to warm her up. She gently nuzzled him, glad to see him after all of this time.
"Yes, I am not quite the same little filly you knew when last you saw me. I have had to grow up a lot since then, helping Dea with what she does for the king,"she admitted.

"I'm proud of you, Serenity... Mom and Dad would be too..." Rogan said, his voice cracking... a rare phenomena for this vain and uptight stallion.

Varteres heard the crack in his brother's voice and knew it was not something that happened very often. He wondered if his connection to Dea was making a difference to the proud stallion, who had always been very proud, even as a young foal. Yes, Rogan had a soft spot for those close to him, but not many knew that.
Serenity looked over to Rogan as he spoke and managed a small smile. Hearing he was proud of her definitely was something she liked to hear.
"I am glad you are proud of me, brother, I have been trying my best to do all I can. I am sure Mom and Dad would have been proud too, if they were here,"she whispered.

Rogan sighed and nuzzled his sister. "They are here... And so is... He stopped.. trying to think of what her mate's name was. What had Var said it was? "Txopu... They will always be with you.. As will I. Do you not remember what I told you... before we split up?" He asked softly, lovingly.

Varteres watched quietly, Dea holding onto a little of his mane, the nervousness quite clear. He bent over and nuzzled her cheek, trying to calm her down and gave her a little whinny to remind her he was here for her. Then he turned his attention back to his twin brother and his sister.
Serenity thought about what Rogan had told her and she shook her head. It had been awhile since they had seen their brother, so she wasn't quite sure what he had told her.
"No, I'm afraid not, big brother. I am so very sorry that I don't remember,"she said sadly, feeling like she had let him down.

Rogan looked up at his brother's whinny, then his eyes focused onto Dea, his light eyes staring into her. Of all the humans... why her? Why the same human that had been Chosen by his siblings? It was an odd conundrum... but his heart wouldn't have it any other way and he was never bitter about it. No... Instead he felt this.. this warm feeling.. Included.. a part of something... He realized... that he was closer to his siblings than he could have ever been. He snorted and turned back to Serenity, his eyes soft once again. "I told you, that no matter where I am.. no matter which way the wind blows... Those that hold a piece of your heart will always be with you... Even if you can't see them, they are there." He sighed and nuzzled her. "Even now.. you are carrying a part of Txopu, and a part of our parents.. Those children you have.. They are yours and Txopu's... and thus.. being yours.. they are also mother and father.." He said, his eyes glittering.

Varteres felt Dea calm down a little, almost like Rogan had helped their chosen when he looked at her. He nuzzled her cheek gently and Dea smiled, patting his neck ever so gently. They both knew Serenity would be alright, it would just take time.
Serenity looked at her brother softly and then down at her extended stomach. He was right, she would always have a part of Txopu and her parents with her. It made it a little easier knowing that, though it still hurt her to think about it.
"I just wish Txopu could be here to get to know his little ones, Rogan. He should be here to watch them grow, but he was taken from us,"she whispered.

Rogan sighed and nodded. "He sees them.. From above... Did I tell you I met a male who's mother was among the ones that Fell? He spoke with Lord Varian... who told him. that his mother still saw him, and watched over him. I'm sure, that Txopu is doing the same." he nuzzled his sister , flicking one of his ears back towards Dea. he would need to get to know her sometime.. being as they were one now.

Serenity listened to her brother, but it was going to take some time for her to recover. She reached over and nuzzled her brother, before laying her head back down.
"Maybe he is, but it isn't the same as having him right here beside me. I guess it is going to take me some time,"she spoke softly.
