Clan Name: Kageyama
Ocular: Before activation the eyes appear a icey pale blue. Once activated the eyes turns black with two blue rings inside.
Village: Konohagakure no Sato -Land of Fire-
Traits: All members are born with blue eyes, said to be the trait of heaven given to them by the sage to show their worth.
Ability: The kagegan has to ability to break down any jutsu and reflect it, much like its sibling the Sharingan. While the two are similar their are distinctive difference. The Kagegan cannot perform genjutsu, it also lacks the ability of Izanagi, Amatersu, and Tsukuyomi. It is a doujutsu meant to aid the sharingan but never overpower it. Though it does have some advantages over the sharingan, as a bit of security for the clan the Kagegan is able to extinguish the eternal black flames and pull someone from the depths of Izanami.
The outer ring of the eye deals with the break down and reflection of jutsu. It reads the flow of chakra and can even see its nature, it sends the information into the users chakra network which begins to imitate the flow and change of chakra. The kagegan is unable to copy genjutsu or any keikeigenki, it also cannot make a user preform a jutsu outside a nature he has mastered. It can copy hidden jutsu as long as it only requires pure chakra, it cannot copy jutsu that difficult which require more then just chakra, such as the Body expansion or the Calorie control of the Akimichi clan.
The inner deals solely in the extinguishing the eternal black flames and dispelling Izanami. This is accomplished by the sages chakra which still resides in the eyes of the kagegan. One must be at least a chunnin in the clan to be taught to harness this ability.
History:
The first Kageyama was Kageyama Touma, he followed in the steps of the sage of six paths, the sage had come from a noble family and as such was assigned a servant and bodyguard. The two were bound by fate and they had become great friends. They fought side by side in order be the worlds means of balance. In his life, Touma learned many things and these lessons were passed on to not only his heirs but the heirs of the sage himself. When the sage was near the end of his life, he asked that Touma and the rest of the Kageyama to watch after not only his sons, but all members of his family, to help them accomplish this, the Kageyama house was given the gift known as the kagegan or shadow eyes. It was meant to give them the ability to not only aid the brothers, but to monitor them as well. The sage knew someday one of his children or future clansmen may try to abuse their power. The kageyama were given the ability to put a halt to this and keep the peace within the clans. When the sons went there separate ways as did the Kageyama. They divided themselves and fought alongside their masters. As it would turn out history was far from kind. As the Senju and Uchiha began to fight relentlessly, the Kageyama were forced to kill each other. Now a small clan the Kageyama still perform their to duty in the name of the Sage and Touma, but they try their best to maintain balance and peace.
