Remarque was not as well versed in mythology, so he simply smiled when Mjolnir identified Leto. The smile remained on his face when she placed her hand in his. He wasn’t sure what the issue was—if she didn’t like people, or just boys, or maybe if she was uncomfortable around strangers or still getting used to Chaos—but that she was making an effort told him that she’d be okay.
He lead her gently, tugging just enough to guide her to the mirror. “Mirrorwalking,” he explained, holding his hand out to brush the cold surface of the glass, “Allows you to get from any one place to any other place—as long as you’ve got a mirror to step into and step out of. All you have to do is think of the place you want to go and—”
Where Remarque’s fingers grazed the surface of the mirror, the glass rippled. He took a step forward to emphasize the point, “Step through.”
And he did. He held onto Mjolnir’s hand a bit tighter, just to make sure he didn’t accidentally lose her in Mirror Space while they were walking. The warmth of the transport was soothing given the cold night.
When they stepped out, they were no longer in the rain, but in a dark room. It was spacious without being barren; a four poster bed took up a fair portion of the room. There was a closet in the distance, and a dresser a few feet away from the foot of the bed against the other wall. A bedside table was planted on either side of the bed, and though the room was dark it was apparent that there were a few paintings on the wall. The curtains were drawn, but Remarque knew his way around the room well enough to know where the lightswitch was without having to look for it.
“And it’s as simple as that,” he said, dropping her hand and flicking on the light. “It takes a little practice to get used to, but then it’s smooth sailing from there. This room all right for you?”

Mjolnir's eyes widened as the mirror rippled like water. It was beautiful, so much so that she could not take her eyes off of it. She stayed still until she felt him move, his grip tightening as he pulled her through. She closed her honey coloured eyes and when she opened them again they were in a completely different place. She looked back over her shoulder towards the mirror when he let go, that was a very useful trick. Maybe at any other time she would have asked him a load of questions, but her curiosity was not as dominant as it usually was. She was fried, drained, not capable of concentrating too much on one given subject.
She looked around the room for a moment, stepping away from the Eternal Senshi to explore her new environment, a room she would come to know quite well. It was then that she powered down, her long hair freeing itself and falling to just above her waist. She wandered over to the bed, resting a pale hand on its post. "It is perfect, thank you." It was all that she could say right now, it was a lovely room, more than she expected, more than she deserved. He was a stranger, but he had done so much for her. Why?
Finally she took a seat on the edge of the bed, looking over at him with a small smile. It was the least she could do and all she had to give. "I think we are both in need of some rest, if you do not mind, I would like to get some sleep now. I am sure we will have plenty to talk about in the morning." She whispered, squeezing her skirt between her fingers and looking to the side.

Remarque looked at her for a moment longer before he, too, powered down. A hair tie around his wrist, he tied his hair up so it was off his neck. “Sounds like a plan. Bathroom is right across the hall if you need it, and if you want to get a snack, kitchen’s not too hard to find. Feel free to help yourself to anything you want. I’ll catch up with you in the morning. If you need anything, I’m down here to your right, but if you can’t find me, just call ‘Jett’ nice and loud.”
He moved to the door with that, opening it. It creaked, just a slight bit; the room wasn’t often used and the door could have used a good oiling. He paid it no mind and left the light on as he stepped out into the hallway. “Good night, Ophelia,” he said simply, offering her a little nod before he closed the door behind him.
…He figured he’d have a lot of explaining to Raven in the morning, but for now he was quite content to just curl into bed with her and go back to sleep.
