 Lo'gosh and his dragon Icera arrived at yet another kingdom. As he looked about,he seen others who too had dragons. He walked up to a nearby tavern,and entered. "Tell me,where might I be, and which is the closes path for me to return to the Land of the Barbarians. I'm their prince and I must return to my throne!." He said,as he crouched down a bit to fit through the door. It was hard for him to enter most doors,because he was a half-giant, but was able to make it in. ""Well,any of you know what I'm speaking of?!" he stated,his voice was loud due to his size and his grip on the fact that he isn't in the arenas anymore. He motioned to close the door behind him,but accidentally broke it off,and he then bumped his head,causing him to rise to full height,in which caused him to break through the roof. "DAMN THESE SMALL HUMAN BUILT PLACES,DOESN'T ANY OF THEM REALIZE THAT THERE ARE GIANTS IN THESE LANDS! Many apologise,tavern keeper for my damages! " he said,rather loudly. He reached to his side and retrieved a pouch that contained money in it. "Here's two thousand in gold. Will this cover the damages?! He said,placing the small gold coins on the desk. The tavern keeper nodded and took the money. He then went outside and sat near a window to state what he needed. "Lo'gosh,you must becareful,this town isn't your homeland. Be more careful.Just sleep with me on the outskirts of the village,this will keep the damages minimal." Icera said,via telekinesis. Lo'gosh agreed, and from the window,he ordered a rather large meal,fit for ten men. Thus was the nature of his giant half,as opposed to the human in him. The barmaid brought him buckets of wine and other alcohols to help him sooth his needs for those. "I thank you for your hospitality,back when I was a slave to the tyrant of a ruler,I was never given meals to saturate my hunger,I was lucky if I even received the necessity at all." He said,kindly to the tavern owner,his voice was much more calm and less,well barbaric. That's when the keeper told him of the great dragon riders capital not far from the tavern. Lo'gosh thought this over and decided that at first light,he and Icera will go to this city. This was mostly because he remembered a strange man giving him Icera's egg to him, and he remmebered raising her before the kidnapping, In the Frozen lands of undeath,in which he seen them slay her. However,due to the undeath in that area,he figured she was re risen to serve the death king of the area,un til he came across her again,but only wounded and famished. After he finished what was supplied to him,he and his dragon left for the Dragon Rider's paradise. They arrived at the gates in no time. When he arrived at the gates,he flung his giant stone sword on his shoulder and called out to the guards to let him in. He ran into the council immeadiately,and told them who he was. He was Bulk Broadstrider,the lost Barbarian prince, but also told him that he prefered to be called Lo'gosh,due to his gladiator days. They agreed and made plans to create a room for one his size,even though he was a hlf-giant/half-human being,but his giant half showed more. Until then,he stayed outside the building, in the stables,until the counsel could create a room with necessities fit to suit his size.Thus begins the story of the great Lo'gosh, joining the riders.

The still night surrounding the Dragon Riders' home was just getting settled when it was shattered by a deafening crash. The forest shook and trees snapped and were thrown about. A huge dragon burst out of the clearing, wallowing and snapping his jaws. He led his side as blood oozed from a large wound. He let out a great roar.
"GRRAAAAAAGGHHH!!!!! BLAST THIS ACCURSED PLACE!! i'VE NEVER BEEN SO HUMILIATED!!!"
The huge creature stopped his complaining only when a blind man carrying a katana exited the forest. Despite the scaring of his eyes, he easily avoided the debris the dragon had thrown about. The man approached the dragon.
"You brought that on yourself. I told you we should have just kept going, but no. You had to be the big, tough guy. Now look at you, crying like a hatchling and bleeding everywhere."
Dinok shook with rage.
"Look at me!? Funny thing for a blind man to say!! Walk away! Humph!! Typical human cowardice!"
The man simply tapped the jewel hung from his scabbard. Dinok flinched.
"It would be so easy. Now stop thrashing and let me inspect it."
Dinok moved his claw and Jin felt along the tough, smooth scale of his dragon's belly. He ran his fingers along the gash and felt into it to see how deep it went. Dinok gritted his teeth.
"Well, it's not life threatening, and certainly not worth all the fuss you've made over it, but it has gone into the muscle. You're grounded for a while till it heals."
Dinok roared and slashed at the ground.
"Just kill me!! A dragon that can't fly is worthless! I've joined the likes of the weak!"
Jin smacked Dinok's knee.
"You will be fine. It's your fault anyway. You used up all your energy in the first half hour or so. You had no idea how to fight that fight. You just charged in there and tried to barrel them over with brute force. The elder dragons sealed your energy reserves, you're only about a tenth as powerful as you were. If you would listen to me, the elders might restore you to full strength again, but for now, you need to learn to manage your energy more efficiently. That's why we are here."
Jin gestured to the huge tree that housed the Dragon Rider camp. Dinok simply snorted as Jin climbed on his back and the dragon limped towards the school.

"Let's go to the tree we were told the dragon riders are housed,Lo'gosh. It would be far more confortable than here." Icera said to the half giant. "We may go,althuogh I think I'm musch too big to fit in the tree so you may use their dragon perch and I'll spend the night outside." Lo'gosh replied. Icera nodded and they headed for the tree. When htey arrived,they noticed the blind rider and his dragon,discussing a gash in the dragon's side. "Really,that dragon is worried by a slightgash? I'm just bone and energy,it should be happy that it wasn't slain then forced to be raisen again as an undead menace." Icera said,loudly. "You could have kept that to yourself,now that may ruin us fitting in. Oh well, I wouldn't fit in anyway,due to my giant half's features showing more than the human ones. Let's get some rest." Lo'gosh replied, as he sat by the entrance's left side and out of the way. Icera laid beside him and rested herself. "Get some rest,you'll need it. As for me,I've no need for rest,seeing I'm undead." she said,as she looked up to the stars. Lo'gosh nodded,and took a sip from a wineskin. The wine inside was the finest he had ever tasted,so he finished it,and then went to slepp,even if it were a light slumber. While he slept,he dreamt of his time as a gladiator,and the many perils he faced upon escaping to freedom,with his words, "I'm a slave no more." rang in his head. He briefly woke to place his large stone sword against the tree's trunk,then went to sleep,with Icera watching over him. Her undead eyes watched him as she remembered when she was living. "Yes,but that was years ago." she muttered then returned to viewing the stars.

Bryce CrystallusHe laid on his bed for a while forcing himself to sleep, but he couldn't. He felt uneasy for some reason. A while later, he felt the Yggradasil tree shook from the roots up, along with an extremely loud crashing sound. It seemed like either an earthquake, or a meteorite just landed nearby. "What was that?!"He ran out of his room and across the halls. He went over to Cadence's room, the door was strangely unlocked. He broke right in. "Cadence are you alright?!" the room was empty, "Huh? Where could she be?"He headed for the Dragon's Den, he found Cadence there. "Oh, there you are. I was worried about you. Did you feel that shaking? And that huge crashing sound? What was that, an earthquake?""I doubt it," Nevara said approaching her rider. "Huh? What was it then?"

Cadence Bly It's another dragon, silly. Why are you freaking out?Cadence glared. She pulled herself onto his back. " I'm not worried about that. It's something... something else." Cadence says. She closes her eyes and reaches out with her mind. Her forehead furrows as she concentrates. She feels Tatsuo, Bryce, Nevara and the other Riders and Dragon's minds, including her master, Eragon, and his dragon, Saphira. After a minute, she presses against a mind that is completely unfamiliar to her. It is full of evil. She quickly recoils before the presence realized she touched his mind. " A Shade." She whispered, fear in her eyes.

Cadence Bly" How do you not know what a Shade is?!" She looks at him, surprised. Even so, she could also feel Tatsuo's emotions. He was also confused. " Oh, for the love of... They have maroon eyes, crimson hair and are very pale. They summon spirits, and are extremely dangerous. You can only kill them by stabbing them in the heart, which not many people have been close to doing."

Bryce Crystallus"Huh? So what are they exactly? Are they human or..""They can be human, elven, any race at all really, as long as they are able to use magic. To be precise, Shades are created when a magic user or a sorcerer summons a spirit they cannot control, the spirit takes over their body, possessing them, thus becoming a new creature known as Shades.""Oh, okay.. I'm surprised you know so much about them.""Learning never do you any harm."

Cadence Bly" Yes. Basically." She waves her hand. " Tatsuo, no time for resting. We need to go now. We're going into hiding until the Shade leaves." She jumps off quickly and searches for her emergency pack, which she hid somewhere in there about a month ago. When she found it, she headed back to Tatsuo and scrambled back onto him. She looks over at Byrce, a sad look on her face. " You should leave too, Bryce. I don't want you to end up... dead, or something."
Yes, and Nevara being one of the only females left, she should stay alive. too.Tatsuo realized what he said, and Cadence felt his embarrassed emotion.

Where-" We're not-" Completely sure. Tatsuo grinned. " Um, we should just head back to Algaesia, and go to Ellesmera. It should be safe there, with the elves."

Cadence BlyTatsuo quickly followed. As they flew higher, Cadence noticed some lights in the forest. After a quick search with her mind, she confirmed it was the Sahde and a bunch of Urgals. " Oh, I didn't know he was this close!" She hissed.

Cadence Bly" Most likely after Master Eragon. After all, he did kill the old king.... but I'm not sure why Urgals are with the Shade. They're supposed to be on our side." She glanced down as Tatsuo glided quietly. Suddenly, she heard a thwing, and an arrow made of a white material sped towards Tatsuo. He quickly dodged before it went through his wing. Many more arrows followed after the first. Tatsuo dodged as much as possible, but one pierced through his right wing. He howled, and Cadence cried out simultaneously. It- really- hurts..! He whimpered. He sped up and attempted to get out of the range of them.
