Kokoro smiled and nodded lightly, "Very well, do you know what scent this mare is particular to, or the type of mearh she is?" She didn't ask the question that first came to mind. Your wife or your employer? Though they would help in figuring out what would best suit this perfume to smell like, it did feel a little odd asking since she was a single female and invited this stallion to stay the night.

Shahram gave a bit of a sigh, "Well she likes expensive things. And my master does enjoy indulging her. I do not think that she will care much on the scent as long as it seems expensive and in a fancy bottle." He sighed, "She is a Leagil that really enjoys spending money. I would not speak bad of her but my master really should curve her spending..."

Kokoro began to giggle lightly and nodded. "I see... though I doubt I could put just any scent within a pretty bottle and she'd like it." She moved back to the fire to stir the contents of the pot. Obviously buying for the wife of his employer, but it does make sense. Keep the wife happy, make the husband happy and your workplace will be fine...

Shahram smiled at her giggle. "Oh I am sure she would not really care. She..." he sighs, "She has a bit of a spending problem. Not that I am talking bad about her. But if I could get a cheap nice smelling perfume in a fancy bottle then it could prevent her from buying a expensive one that is a waste and not enough worth the price. If you happen to be able to make one more suited for a stallion I would be glad to give that to my master as well."

"Oh, making one for each of them, should not be a problem." Kokoro returned to her seat and smiled lightly. "When I started selling in the market place I noticed that those who look more fancy often get charged more. I don't do that of course, it seems a shame to rob someone like that."

Shahram gives a bit of a nod, "Well it is true in away that the more rich one is the more the expect things to be expensive. Sometimes they view that the only things worthy to buy are those that are expensive. So if a 'commoner' were to want to sell to them they would have to raise the prices up so that they will feel like it is worth it." He smiles, "Don't feel nervous though miss Kokoro, I might work with the wealthy but I am not unapproachable and arrogant as some are. I am pretty laid back. And I like to know that Mearh of all walks can come to me with their issues. Thank you for letting me know about the prices raises. Do you know if they are in fact high mark ups?"

Kokoro nodded and paused to drain her cup. "There are, Shahram, mainly from the traveling merchants but as for the shops I wouldn't really know." She smiled slightly and let her fingers glide over the lavender stalks. "Being laid back is a good quality to have. It is easy to speak with you."

Shahram smiled a bit and watched her, "It is very easy to speak to you as well miss Kokoro. Ah yes the traveling ones are always the ones with the highest prices. But because they travel there is not much regulation on their prices or how they sell. Of course they must follow the basic rules of the town they are selling in and need proper certificates."

"They are supposed to, yes, but how can you be sure that they do." Kokoro sighed, "The city and the country have many of their own unwritten rules after all. There are more shady mearh around than I would like. However I like to hope that those with good hearts may stand up for those cheated if possible..."

Shahram gave a nod, "Ah yes I feel the same miss Kokoro. I know that there are many with bad intentions but I try to help insure the safely of the common Merah as well as the upperclass. Though unless some complain I might never get to know. That is why I often come out on these little trips to hear from everyone view points and take the concerns back to my lord and have him or his court help work on making things better for all."

His court? Kokoro sat in silence for a few moments. "So you work for the Laegil King, correct?" She knew of four kings, one for each race and since Shahram was a laegil it was the only natural conclusion. "That must get interesting."

Shahram smiles and his cheeks darkened slightly, "Oh my I am sorry. Yes I work for the Leagil King. I serve in his court and I go from town to town holding court in his name. It is pretty interesting. I enjoy it very much."

Kokoro smiled as she moved to check on dinner once more. It was rather adorble to see a grown stallion blush. She smiled as she saw that the food was nearly done and moved it to the counter and filling up two bowls setting them on the table along with spoons. "I'm glad you enjoy it, that's important. Dig in."

Shahram nods and looks at the bowl. "Thank you very much for this meal. It looks great. I am sure it tastes even better than it smells." He said happily then give a nod, "What about you? Do you enjoy doing what you do?"
