say what's in your heart, think of the card as a personal goodbye to Lisa and write to her in it rather than her family. then you can tell her how you feel . i did this in my goodbye card for my step Dad and it made me feel like i'd got across what i wanted to say

I got an email from Lisa's RomyOh, Stan, today.
-----
Thanks for your kind note. As you may have known, Lisa suffered with Lupus and Rheumatoid arthritis. IT took a huge toll on her body, but she fought it all the way. As recently as last October we were able to go to NYC to attend a conference I had for work. We took advantage to see a Broadway show (that she loved) and to spend time with one of my daughters and her family. In the end, it was the physical that just wore her body out. However, she will be remembered by many!
Again, thanks for your kind note and thoughts!
Stan Romanoff
-----
And looking at her profile, I see that Lisa's birthday would have been tomorrow, March 7th. She'd have turned 46, I believe.
And on a third note, I've noticed that my home no longer loads because her avatar is showing up as a Red X. The site problems thread talks about this and says that the avatars needs to be re-saved to the new version if this is happening, yet sadly, she's not here to re-save her avatar, so I've emailed support about it to see if any site admin can manually re-save it for her, because I really, really liked having her show up in my home with me!

i hope they will do that for you Fawn, i think it's comforting that Lisa is still here with us in that way, we can re-read her posts and so on, i now it's holding on to her in a way but it is a comfort and it shows we're not forgetting her

I was deeply saddened about the loss of such a great lady and I commented over on the Neo board but neglected to on this board. Lisa used to always send me Pickled Olives on neo and it was always such a treat to come on and see little pickled olives waiting for me. When I would try trade her collection items she would always send back and equal amount of mine even if I told her she didn't have to. Lisa will truely be missed by all those she touched. I know this is probably coming in late I just needed to say it somewhere. Best wishes Lisa, may angels wing you to your rest.

Today I started collecting Colour Lillies while thinking of Lisa. I think I'll keep collecting them. They're probably my favorite of the flowers, and I always resisted collecting them before because I wanted to send any I came across to Lisa. After buying a bunch of them today I decided to put 46 of them in a garden for her almost-46 years. Wasn't someone else making a memorial garden of colour lillies too? I'd like to see it.

I'm actually thinking about making a rememberance garden myself--I've lost several important people to me the last few years, and think it'll be a nice, timeless memorial. Does anyone know if the garden glitches have been worked out? Mine's currently empty as I'm working on the SDB avvie, but I should get there pretty soon.

My gardens are still all intact. The ones I built long ago as well as yesterday/today's newest one. I don't want to give the all-clear and have something go wrong with someone else's home/garden, but the glitch hasn't affected me so far.
