Akumu sniffed, regaining his composure and made a show of it by blithely cleaning his forepaws. He still kept an eye on her, though, despite his mostly feigned dis-concern. "Kivuli? What a lovely thing to be aligned to. I am Akumu. Named for the bad dreams that I bring men who have my disfavor." He set his paw down and eyed her wings again. "It sounds like you must not have met many Neko worth their mettle. It is a pity, really." He sniffed. "So what is it that you do do, Kivuli? If you do not often converse with others?"

Kivuli smirked a bit, "Why thank you. Ah so you are a fear bringer like myself?" She tilted her head slightly. "Are there many who have earned your disfavor, Akumu? "Indeed it seems there are few who are brave enough to look fear in the eye and not waver, Pity I supposed but entertaining all the same." she crossed her paws in front of her, her claws visible as a wicked grin spread over her face. "I don't convers much but I do enjoy tormenting the poor fools who come too close to my territory. Stalking, scare them for bit without them realizing I’m there, watching them flee in terror, it is quite amusing, Oh and the occasion fight if I bored enough or if they're stupid enough. I enjoy flying as well. Other than that I explore the forest, stalk and kill my prey and I work with my powers a bit." As if on cue one of the bands of darkness that had been wrapped around her paw slid off and touched Akumu's nose before sliding back to her. She looked back at him with a slight bit of amusement showing on her face. “So what is it you do when you’re not scaring up nightmares?”

Akumu batted at the tendril of darkness that bopped his nose. But for his credit, he didn't back away again, nor did his guard hairs set on edge. "I don't have a territory,really, myself. I go to and fro, never really staying anywhere too long. I like it. Seeing new places, finding new game to hunt." Truth be told, Akumu really hadn't really had any reason TO stay anywhere for long. And between his natural curiousity and his tendency to rub people the wrong way, he hadn't made anywhere much of a home. "And I've had my share of run-ins. Given some pretty bad dreams as a penalty. But I take care of myself." He sat back on his haunches. "Other that that, I hunt. Gotten pretty good at it. I can usually catch what I'm after." He eyed his wings again. "Those must be nice. The dark, too." He tried not to show his paw too much, but he was a bit jealous of her. He rubbed people the wrong way just with his attitude and strange, creepy markings and red eyes. He was used to putting others off. But having real abilities - flying, commanding the dark - that must be nice!

"Ah~ A traveler then, sounds interesting, seeing all these strange new places. Will you be staying in this area long? Or where you just pasting though for a meal?" Part of Kivuli felt a little sad at the idea of him leaving soon, she didn't get the chance to actually talk to people much and it would probably be a long time before he wandered back into this area, if he ever did come back. "That's good, It will teach them to be wary of your wrath next you meet." she nodded listening to his talk of hunting. "Good skill to have, especially to a traveler I'd assume. Yes it is nice, I enjoy flying. Some people might think it a curse instead of a gift because of how it makes people flee.” She frowned a little at the idea. “A foolish notion if you ask me, one who turns so quickly to cowardice is obviously not worthy speaking to."

"I might," Akumu said blithely, tail flipping as he stretched nonchalently. Truth be told, he mostly hadn't found any good reason to stick around anywhere too long. He hadn't made friends with many people yet - that was certain. "And I agree with you. While it is... quite entertaining to give others a fright, I certainly wouldn't consider those who are so cowardly a friend. Now you..." His eyes narrowed as he smiled, "Well, let's just say it is nice to meet a kindred spirit." He swatted at a leaf that was skittering across his path in the wind. He looked up to the treeline, noting the night begining to fade to the grey-violet of pre-dawn. "You know..." He pursed, thinking. "I bet those wings come in pretty handy for more than just scaring people." He cocked his head. "There is a man who kicked at me when he came across me in the alley behind his house. But all of his windows are kept latched except for small windows high up with a ledge beneath them that makes it hard to climb above them... maybe... you and I... could go pay him a visit tomorrow...?"

Her body showed no signs of the small disappointment she felt knowing he might leave rather soon. "I hope the darkness leads you well on your path, and that you bring much fear on this journey." She followed his gaze her mouth twitching in annoyance at the dawning sky. Soon it would be bright, she didn't like the day much, one could even say she hated it. "Yes It is, I have enjoyed this..." She paused pondering the right word. "Conversation of ours." Kivuli listened to him as he talked about another use for her wings; her face broke into a wicked grin as she realized what he was getting at. "Break in and scare him in his own house?" she laughed darkly “That should give him nightmares for weeks, and it sounds like fun, It shouldn't be too hard for me to let you in once I get in." Her tail moved excitedly, yes it would be a whole lot of fun.

"Perfect," Akumu purred, stretching and getting back to his feet, eagerly anticipating the next night. Not just to get back on the cruel man... but to see Kivuli again. "shall we meet here tomorrow night... two hours past dusk?"

Kivuli nodded tomorrow would be exciting; she had never seen the same person twice, willingly anyways and the meetings where never so close together. "That sounds Perfect, I'll be waiting." She stretched as well, and flexed her wings to loosen them up so she could fly. This had been a very interesting night, she had made an acquaintance.
