As the last Bidoof was knocked out, Lyle looked around to make sure no more were coming. It seemed quiet now, but he figured more could come any minute. "Can we leave this room, before more come?" he asked the group at large. Then he looked at the Bidoofs again. They were just lying there, wild and knocked out. He was a little wierded out by them, but he did want another pokemon. And now that he was a Gym assistant, he could afford to take care of them. So he pulled out one of the pokeballs he'd found and tossed it at a Bidoof.

Mephistopheles floated back to Lenore's side, and the girl walked to another room. "Now, assuming it follows the stereotypical 'lost temple' pattern, this room is a trap. If I'm wrong, we live. If I'm right.... Well, I'm right. Either way, I win. Let's go!" She stepped inside the doorway.

A bidoof lunged from the shadows at Lenore as she entered, but Mephistopheles immediately slapped it away. "Trap. I was right."

"Ah! Frey get it!" Sienna wasn't very fond of any of the Bidoof, although cute and fluffy, they were EVERYWHERE

Lyle had lagged behind the group to pick up his pokeball. It seemed nobody else wanted one, which was fine with him. He had a new pokemon! He was still slightly in awe that he'd made his first capture, when they were attacked again. He hastily said, "Spinel, Ice Punch!" but his pokemon was as caught off guard as his trainer, and his attack was far off the mark.
Spinel: 85 HP
Bidoof: 10 (Starry forgot to take off the damage Frey did)
[edit: wrong dice. Let's pretend this attack never happened, because the Bidoof was killed before I could fix it. smile ]

Annabell bounded forward, slamming into the weakened Bidoof with a full-force body slam. The Bidoof went down hard, and stayed down. Annabell gloated for a moment, then returned to Shina, twining affectionately around her trainer's legs like she hadn't just been battling.
Annabell: 80HP
Bidoof: 0HP

 The bidoof was weakened. If you want to catch it, throw a Pokeball now! You must have a Pokeball in your inventory in order to try to catch it. If you catch this bidoof, you can no longer catch any more Pokemon in these random event battles. If you fail to catch the bidoof, your Pokeball goes back into your inventory. I will randomize between everyone who threw a Pokeball to see who captures it.
