he shrugged " if you were not an adult, i would feel uncomfortable speaking with you unless you had a chaperone. Not all are fond of my race, But as you are old enough to decide whom you speak to, i see nothing wrong with out having a conversation. Also, like i said i can never quite guess the ages of non-laguz. If you were one of my race, i would say you are at least 60 or 70 years of age, however some Beorc seem to take offense when i say so. But i never could quite understand it. I myself am about 110 years of age, and still in the prime of my youth. "

Her emereald eyes got huge, "You're 110! You certainly don't look it. For most normal zunes that would be ancient...though my family's bloodline.... um.." she pondered how to put it with out scaring him. Truth be told Mari-mac wasn't sure if he'd be offended she was a decedent of a demon, "... supernatural beings as the progenitor...."

he looked somewhat confused " supernatural.... like what do you mean?" he asked curiously, he'd certainly had his share of supernatural experiences

Sighing, "I hope this doesn't make you hate me..." looking him in the eyes, "My great grandmother is a demon cat of the fire element. And my great grandfather is a nine tailed demon fox of the fire element. My grandfather is their child. And my grandmother is a lucky cat. So my mom is a lucky fire cat fox half demon....... and my father is a rabbit............" Mari-mac blinked at herself, unsure as to why she just went into her full family pedigree. It just felt like what needed to be said.

Tibarn blinked a moment in surprise, this girl had one weird family tree! before long he cracked a grin and laughed. He calmed down after a moment and shook his head " forgive me, i just did not expect that. I wont hate you for it, if anything im relived. i have taken steps towards forgiveness with the beorc, but the relationship is strained at best. So it relives me that you are not actually a beorc. Though now i am not quite sure what species i should refer to you as" he said with that annoyingly cocky grin plastered on his face

he nodded as she spoke, still grinning. this was all incredibly amusing to him. Though he soberd up a bit at her question " Beorc is what my kind call humans. To actually call you human would be an insult, and if you ever meet one like me who calls you such, they are not your friends." he explained

She nodded to him, "I can understand that. This area is so peaceful...and not crowded. Its hard to get some alone, quiet time with others on your back constantly."

He nodded " i agree with that. though its not so bad having others around sometimes. i have two friends who are usually with me, but they had other duties to attend to today. Though i feel rather sorry for my friend Ulki, its nearly impossible for him to get even a moment of pure quiet. His hearing is so good he can hear the rustle of a birds feather miles away"

Tibarn nodded in agreement " My friends are something, the other one, Janaff, can see for miles. Between the two, they don't miss much. Their incredibly helpful on reconnaissance missions" he said with a faint smile then nodded " ah, yes i can see how that would make things hard. But it cant be all bad right? afterall their still your family"
