Hearing him say something behind her, Zaira tried to make it out but couldn't quite catch what he had said. Never the less, the wind in her mane felt amazing and relieving to her. She kept her lead for a little while but couldn't hold it for long as the stallion's longer strides eventually caught up with hers. A grin crossed her face, not knowing how far they had traveled at all. All she knew was that she was running with Txon'aw and was enjoying every minute of it. Her nose caught the smell of water, a lot of it and she adjusted course to go there. They would need water after such a long and exhilarating run.

The stallion's body surged onward as he was urged by the lovely frame of the darling mare in front of him. Eventually, either she slowed down or he sped up, they were running side by side together matching each other stride for stride. He gave a gentle snort noticing how his pelt seemed to dance with hers. It was strange how his shade could match well with her own light one. She was indeed a beautiful creature, and he had no intention of letting her go if he was able to convince her to keep him around. Txon'aw wasn't aware that the mare had changed course for he was that lost in thought, but it was as if his body kept them together in a rhythmic run. And he was thankful for that as the sound and smell of water rushed his senses. His little filly was not only a beautiful gem, but a smart mare as well. The stallion's body shivered with slight excitement. Could this be what Eywa was trying to tell him?

It had been a long time since Zaira had had someone to run side by side with and she loved every bit of it. The water was getting closer, and as they approached, she noticed it was a lake. She was happy it was a lake because that meant she could go swimming! The mare's pace slowed only a fraction as she barreled into the lake. The cool water felt amazing on her warm hide, washing the sweat and dust off of it from her run. Zai slowed once in the water of course, staying to where her hoofs touched since she didn't know this lake or how deep it was, or even what kind of creatures called it home. A giddy laugh escaped her, thinking how much of a foal she must have looked like.

As they neared closer and closer to their destination, Txon'aw gave a bit of a grin. A lake! Wonderful! A good cool off was what he needed after this rigorous run. Unlike his lovely running companion, the stallion slowed not even half a hoof beat as he launched himself into the air practically flying. His splash was automatic, large, and loud as he disappeared for a few moments only to emerge with just as much of a spectacle as his entrance. He gave a wide grin swimming over toward Zaira cautious as his hooves hit stable ground again. The stallion was positively dripping from nose tip to the tip of his back hoof, the water seeming to make a cascading waterfall of stars against his pelt. It was a strange sight for he looked like he was twinkling a bit. His golden eyes studied the mare, his hair slightly blocking his face as his tail dragged behind him. "You are indeed lor when you run. I don't think even the fastest ikran could catch you." Txon'aw breathed a bit shaking his body for a moment, his hair slapping against his skin and sending water droplets flying. It had been far too long since he felt like this. He hoped it didn't go away.

While she had slowed, he had not. He plowed into the lake displacing water everywhere. It was almost as if the stars on his back were sparkling at her, coming alive. "Well, you must be the fastest ikran because you caught up to me and could have surpassed me." Zaira said with a chuckle. Water droplets flew from where he shook it, sending the excess water everywhere. "That was quite the run, Txon'aw, it has been a long time since I ran like that."

Txon'aw gave a bit of a grin and a whicker nodding his head enthusiastically. "Well you are far too kind, Princess Syulang. I am quite out of shape...I remember when I felt as if I was flying when I ran... His eyes went distant at the memory, a bit of a smile on his face. Txon'aw then turned back to her, a slight smile still on his maw. "I suppose we did give each other a race, yes?" He was starting to get used to speaking her language even if his native accent and tongue sometimes came out. His tail and ears flicked as he looked around before taking a long, well deserved drink. Water droplets continued to fall from his pelt as they cooled his form.

"If that is you out of shape I wouldn't dare race you when you're 'in shape'." Zaira couldn't imagine that Txon'aw was in any way out of shape. Well, quite frankly, he was gorgeous. She thought he was even better looking than her friend Kai, and much more charming. "You said earlier, that you thought fate had brought you here. Why do you think that? That was one thing that she hadn't quite understood about him.

He laughed shaking his head. "Train with me, and you will outshine anything and anyone. I promise you." He gave her a wink leaning forward to n** at her ear. He felt so comfortable around her that it was quite strange and uncanny. His nose twitched and tail waved as he lowered his head to drink absently. At her question, Txon'aw flicked his ear raising his head to look at her. "Syay...is strange....I say this because I would not have come here unless I felt the pull of Eywa. She wanted me here and so I simply followed her guidance. Then I met you. The rest is history along with the dust from our run." He offered her a smile coming closer so that she could rest against him if she needed to. "Why do you ask? Did you not feel as though fate did not bring you here?"

Zaira did, indeed rest against him. "I'm really not sure if it was fate or not. But I'm thankful for whatever allowed us to meet." She dipped her head shyly when he nipped her ear. Her hide against his felt...normal, it felt like it was something that was meant to be. So maybe it was fate. "So tell me, Txon'aw, where is this Eywa pulling you to now?" Zai was curious as to what he would say. He had mentioned training with her, was that just a rouse to be able to spend more time with her? She secretly hoped so.
