 GENTAROU FUURINJI
Gentarou listens intently to the Head Captain's explanation of how to use Shunpo, nodding after every sentence to show he understood. He watches as the Head Captain shunpos his way to the tree, touching it, then shunpoing back to where he started without breaking a sweat, "Whoaaa, that was so cool. It seemed so effortless." Gentarou was about to 'leap' when the Head Captain stops him, "O-oh, okay, short bursts, got it!" When asked if he understood, Gentarou nods to his Head Captain, "Ah, yessir!"
Gentarou focuses his mind as he aims for the tree, "To the tree and back, just a touch." As he releases the energy, he releases far too much, he realizes that he'll crash into the tree. As his body flies to the tree, he jumps up and lands legs first into the tree. Holding his body upright for a brief moment to gather a small amount of energy, he leaps back, aiming for the spot where he started. As he comes in, he begins sliding across the ground. he tries to utilize his remaining energy to create a counter-force to his movement, but loses his footing and begins rolling pass the Head Captain, hitting the training dummy he made not too long ago.

As the dust settles, the broken pieces of the doll lay around Gentarou, the paper mache mask lying askew on his face, "Buwahh, what happened?"

  Division: 1st Division || Zanpakuto: Fude (筆, literally meaning "Ink Brush") || Mood: Fair
Izuma would watch Gen shunpo to the tree and then move past him. It was something that he himself never expected to happen. The look in Izuma's face was a bit shocked that someone of Gen's ability was able to get it and so quickly. At this point he would turn his body enough to be facing Gen with a smile on his face. "I'll give you a pass...", Izuma said as he seemed to be more than satisfied with the performance. "And what happened was your over shot the burst of energy in your feet...", he said as he pointed at the dummy that he slammed it too. "You were able to avoid slamming into the tree but the dummy was another matter...", he said with a sigh as he put his hands in the sleeves of his captains robe. Just when he was about to speak again and make another joke an elder division member would appeared behind Izuma bowing on his knee looking at the ground. Izuma would right away have changing in moods and the tension rose almost right away.
"Speak 6th Seat Senji Takada...", Izuma said as the 6th Seat said that there was an issue that was detected and suddenly disappeared in Rukongai thought to be hollows. Several division members as well as 11th seat Rin Yoshiro spiritual pressures went missing. Izuma would right away release not all,but a blunt of his spiritual pressure in annoyance. "Rin is a seated member I trust...He would never abandon his duties...", Izuma said as he seemed to be displaying his sudden displeasure. "Call back the all members in the field and order them on standby...I will go personally...", he said as he than snapped his fingers and the Vice-Captain appeared next to him fixing her glasses as she seemed to be ready to leave already.
Izuma remember that he was speaking with Gen would look over at him. 'If you wish to come follow, however if you are unable to keep up withe Vice-Captain and I please do stay behind...you will only get in the way...", he said as he turned and suddenly shunpo'd away. The Vice captain would take a moment to look at Gen before nodding at him, almost as if accepting the fact that the Head Captain acknowledge him in some way before she herself followed behind Izuma.

GENTAROU FUURINJI
Gentarou hops up onto his feet as the Head Captain gives him the okay on his Shunpo, the mask still clinging sideways to his head, "Th-thank you, sir!" Gentarou listens to Matsubara's description of what happened when Gentarou attempted the Shunpo maneuver, "Oh, is that it? Haha, n-never been that great at controlling my energy." It feels great though to move that fast, to essentially teleport, and he will be using this quite often now that he has a firm grasp of it.
Just then, the Sixth Seat Takada appears behind the Head Captain, a look of worry upon his face. He listens intently as Takada explains the situation to Matsubara, how there were problems in the Rukongai and how Division members have disappeared suddenly. Eleventh Seat Yoshiro was someone Gentarou knew somewhat; he had never personally talked to Yoshiro, but he remembered him coming to the school one day, he constantly smoked from his pipe, like an old man. However, the fact that a seated member would disappear- Gentarou stumbles a bit after being caught unaware by a small bit of the Head Captain's spiritual pressure.
He hears that the Head Captain will be going to the area immediately, a snap of the fingers and Vice-Captain Takasawa appears, everything is just effortless for him; Gentarou slightly envies that. Gentarou straightens when the Head Captain addresses him once more, "If you wish to come, follow, however if you are unable to keep up with the Vice-Captain and I, please do stay behind... You will only get in the way..." As they disappeared, Gentarou stood for a moment stunned: sure he was invited by the Head-Captain, but... Would he be of any use?
He grins slightly, "How can you even ask me to stay behind? That's my home yer talkin' about!" His fists clench, "So what if I don't have a Shikai and my Hado stink, so what if I just learned Shunpo?" He starts running over to the exit of the training grounds, "I'm goin', and nobody's gonna stop me!" With a burst of energy, Gentarou Shunpos forward and stumbles as he leaps into another Shunpo maneuver, making his way towards the Head Captain and Vice-Captain.

And yes, I don't have a Shikai, originally I was going to, but after looking at the information on the Bleach Wiki, I found that most unseated people don't have their Shikais yet as they still have a growing Asauchi. Perhaps this will be the time to work up my Spiritual Energy so I can move up to a seated rank? XD]]
