Roch reached down, tugging the blankets over her before crawling on top of them to sit down next to her on the bed. "I'm gonna stay up and wait for the pizza," he told her, reaching down and gently patting her hair. "You take a nap, okay? Want me to sing to you?"
He had her back. That was all that mattered right now. The whole tracker thing, the mark on his shoulder, what was happening with the horsemen, that didn't mean crap to the boil that was softly singing to his ghoulfriend.

She nodded and then cocked her head. The comforter brought up to her chin as she laid her head back on the pillow. Her hand reached out to take his, holding it loose enough to slip out when food came.
Her eyes widened as he said singing and her head bobbed happily. She nestled even further into the softness of her bed. The feeling of being home almost unreal as she started to drift. Her breathing evened out to let the boil know that she had fallen asleep.
Unfortunately, her dreams were plauged with hunters and horsemen and war. It would be a long time till she slept fully.

He fell silent as she went to sleep, groaning inwardly as he leaned back on her headboard, his head throbbing as he dealt with all the things that had happened. He didn't know what to do. There had been some serious problems before with friends and acquaintances, but those had only happened after short periods of dealing with hunters. Amphi... and the others, even, had been with the hunters for a week. How was he going to help her through this? He wasn't a psychologist, he was just a punk from the wrong side of town.
Honestly, they probably needed professional help to get them over this thing. But what adult would they go to for that? He didn't trust any of them, when it came down to it--but...
"Monica," he said quietly. It was a shot in the dark, really, and it might not be as good as someone else could come up with, but wouldn't she at least be a help? He didn't know everything about Monica's past, but he did figure she'd gotten over more things than he'd ever imagine. Maybe not hunters... but some really bad stuff--
Someone knocked on the door and he got up to go get the pizza.

She slept for a short while, then shifted in her sleep, curling herself into a tiny ball as she dreamt about her nightmares. Hunters, techs as they tore her open and dropped the technology in her.
The feeling of a weight in her very soul...wiggling and squirming its way around.
When the weight of Roch disappeared, she reached for him aimlessly, dreaming of the light that was slowly winking out. She woke to see him paying the man for pizza and coming back to her.
It couldn't have been more then thirty minutes and yet the mermaid felt like it was a lifetime. She pushed herself up and padded over to him, wrapping her arms around him and not letting go.
It was bad,she knew it but....she needed the comfort of Roch right now...so much.

Roch had the box open and gave her a little happy grin as he was hugged. "I know how y'feel," he said seriously. "It's beautiful, ain't it? Best pizza in the world. C'mon, blue eyes, let's get some FEAR in you," he said, heading for the nearest table to put the pizza boxes down. "You'll start feelin' better after a good meal."

She tilted her head curiously, narrowed her eyes. Did he know how she felt? That-
Oh..he was talking about the pizza...She laughed silently, body shaking with it and then she pinched his side. Shaking her head, she moved and stood awkwardly by her small dining table and then waited for him to get his slices first. She had her heart set on two...maybe three...
Her stomach said she could probably handle three slices.
Possibly...

"You first," he said, moving for her to pick her slices. "I'll just eat whatever's left!" he declared cheerfully. There WERE two boxes, after all. He figured he was good.
"Amphi... y'know... would you like to talk with Monica sometime?" he asked quietly as he waited for her to get her food. "I think, well, I'm just guessin', really, but she might be able to help you through this. And y'know... her and Old Mrs. Wheedle are all I got as far as female family members, and Mrs. Wheedle was a bit too happy to kick people in the balls to be the right type of support."

She frowned again and then nodded, piling three slices on to a plate and then taking a bite of one.
In a blink of the eye, the slice was gone and she was working her way through her second one with fervor the mermaid never had before. She was almost done with the second when she looked up at Roch again.
She nodded at the idea of...er...chatting with Monica. Although she wasn't sure how it would help her? After all, she didn't know the problem herself.
She had no idea who Mrs. Wheedle was and just left that as it was.

"I figure... y'know... she might help you. I dunno," he said, letting her eat as much as she wanted. She looked like she was starving, and that thought killed him a little inside. "It might help. Or if nothing else, it might get your mind off of things and get you away from the school a bit," he added quietly. "I'll send Danny with you--you guys can go shopping or out to eat or somethin."
He wanted her to feel safe, but he was also worried she'd be terrified of going out if he let her just stay here.

She finished the second piece and slowly started on the third now. She never knew how much she needed food until she ate it now.
She set her piece down and contemplated the idea. It would be good for her. And without her sisters here to comfort her either, she pined for the affections of other ghoul's as well.
She would hate to bother Xiu and Lizzy over something as trivial as just having someone to be near with.
The idea sounded good, even if she just wanted to stay in her room. She gave him a look that said 'okay, I will do it' and then resumed eating her third piece, licking her fingers as she finished.
Now she really wanted cupcakes....

He started eating then, leaving that box for her to pick out of while he finished off the other one. Then he leaned down and licked the sauce off of her cheek. "You need sleep..." he said quietly, still close. "Wanna make out in your bed till y'fall asleep?" he teased shamelessly.

She flushed at as she felt the little lick and then her flushed deepened at the idea of kisses but...she loved kisses so she jumped off her seat and nodded.
She didn't want sleep quite yet...especially if kisses would be involved!
She jumped up and tugged on his arm and then pointed from her mouth to his and stuck out her tongue.
Would she get the tongue kisses? The thing he had tried to do at the Maul??
She blinked, waiting for him to respond to her question...gesture...thing.

He turned a bit red. No, that's a lie, boil turned BRIGHT red. "Um... y'mean the whole... um... tongue thing?" he asked, scratching his head. "I guess? If y'wanna?" Wow, she was bold even with no voice, he thought with amusement as he crawled onto her bed. "Um... y'know I still suck at this, though, right?" he told her seriously. "We need to practice. Lots."
Oh, he was shameless. So shameless. "C'mon," he said, patting the bed next to him. "I want to hold you, make sure you're real."

She flushed too, her blush matching his blush and nodding. Since they were back, she wanted to resume some kinda of normalcy!
She crawled in after him, though instead of sitting off to the side of him, she crawled right into his lap and smiled. Her hands resting on his shoulders. Of course he'd have to lead cause she had no idea what she was doing.
She waited for Roch, hoping that this wasn't some dream either. He certainly felt real. He had felt real since they had been together. But you know....

Roch had a slight mental breakdown. Here he was, a teenage boil, with his infinitely sexy ghoulfriend on his lap, facing him, on top of a bed-- "Er, maybe we should... um..." he stuttered, swallowing loudly, his eyes focused on her lips. He felt that there should be some crab with a funny accent singing about kissing the ghoul, but he had no clue where that idea came from.
"Talk?" he offered, finally realizing that he hadn't finished his sentence. Wait... that sort of didn't work, either, did it?
