 Alexander MartenAlex smiles lightly and takes out his violin anyways placing it up to his shoulder as he tunes it with a practiced hand and ear. "the Moonlight Sonata is a favorite of mine as well, I want to play it for you as a gift for letting me room with you" He finishes tuning the violin and stands closing his eyes as he brings the bow up to play the violins part of the song. He begins his left foot instantly tapping into the meter he needed. He plays through the song and as he comes to a close he bows slightly his long hair cascading down over his face. "And that my good sir is the Moonlight Sonata"

Life's too short not to spend it happily. Alejandro had closed his eyes near the beginning of the solo to fully enjoy the beautiful sad meaning of the song, the melody bringing him back to the dark times when he had learned that his parents were killed in a plane accident and was sent to live in an orphanage. He hated thinking about his parents deaths, but he let his mind wander there, anyhow just for the time being. A silent tear escaped out of the corner of his left eye and trailed down his cheek, unnoticed to the skilled player before him. He opened his eyes and began to clap when the melody had ended and Alex bowed. "Bravo, bravo, it was splendid!" He beamed at him, tryig to hide the fact that he had let a small tear escape at all. He just didn't like showing that kind of thing in front of others--he hated having to have others coo all over him and feel bad h=for him, what's done is done and he's just rather not think about it at all to begin with.So what's your excuse?

Alexander MartenAlex sighed and straighened up and retied his hair with the ribbon. "Thank you Al, but it could have been better..." He knew he missed a not or two near the end but he had covered it with a stronger final note. He knelt down and placed the violin gengerly back into the case and closed it. He stood back up and smiled sadly noticing a slight wetness streaking one of Al's cheeks but he would not coo and try and find what is wrong as he sat back down "I see you cried a little it is a sad song and it holds a sad memory for you, as it does my favorite song, but as with mine your memory is personal, you can tell me or not I will not pry nor will I feel bad for you, I know how it is, if you want to talk you may, if not I respect your choice" He smiled but he did not push as he sat back down.

Life's too short not to spend it happily.Alejandro would admit he was a little shocked that he had noticed, and tried wiping at his now-cold cheek. "Eh-heh-heh, so you noticed after all......well, I'm sorry but I don't really feel like sharing at the moment. Too much sadness in one day is enough for me, i prefer to live my life optimistically."So what's your excuse?

Alexander MartenAlex smiled and changed the subject as soon as Al said he didnt want to share right now "Hey Al you think you can teach me to swim, I umm really want to conqure my fear of the water, and I think it will be a good way for us to bond..." A fierce blush snaked itself onto his cheeks as he realized what he said could be interpurted in a different light. He would like that to get to know Al more maybe go out with him. Alexander MartenAlex blanched a little but he faught his fear into submission "Do we have time to do it now, I want to begin as soon as possible if thats alright with you..." He stood and smiled watching Al with eyes that held more warmth than they showed fear.

Life's too short not to spend it happily.Alejandro pondered this for a few moments, he had just got swimming before Alex had arrived there. "Suuuuure, I guess, but are you positive that you're ready? I mean it's best to get used to being in the pool before actually taking the steps t swimming if you fear it. Do you want to try that?" He looked into Alex's warm eyes and gave his best comforting smile.So what's your excuse?

Life's too short not to spend it happily."Sure, go right on ahead, I'll go set up for our little extravaganza and ah-hahaha! You just made it sound like some kind of slave and master comedy!" He laughed out loud, " can already picture the slave saying "I am at your mercy, Master, but please....be gentle....." he mocked the show all in god humor, trying to make the mood a little less solemn, and headed up to his room to change and get out a floatie if need-be. "Come in when you're ready!" He shouted back to him.So what's your excuse?

Alexander MartenAlex ran into his room and changed as quickly as he could. He came out and walked into Al's room in nothing but a pair of shorts white scars criss-crossing his arms and back as he stepped all the way in. "So Al whats forst?"

Life's too short not to spend it happily."Hmmm, ready so soon?" He turned his head to look back at Alex while he was setting up a life-floatie in the middle of the pool around his bed. Even though he would be guiding Alex the whole time, it was never a bad thing to be extra cautious. "Well, come over here by the entrance ladder and try to slowly make your way in, I'll be here to catch you if you fall so there's no need to worry. Plus, it's only three feet over hee so you could stand in and be perfectly fine."So what's your excuse?

Alexander MartenAlex walked over and stepped onto the ladder slowly easing down into the water, he was nervous as his legs slip under until it was just under his waist "Alright I think I need a few minutes to get used to this..." He was nervous to the extreme and he forced himself not to bolt out of the pool.

Alexander MartenAlex waited for ten minutes and then he nodded he was ready Alright Al I am ready but one step at a time please..." He looked back with a bit of a smile and a small glint in his eyes at the thought of having Al help him, it felt right to put his life in Al's hands safe and warm. It hit him then he knew this feeling but he wouldnt tell Al not yet, he didnt want to scare him with a sudden talk about dating, Alex had only had this feeling with one other someone who broke his heart long ago.
