Unfortunately for Mephistopheles, the attempt to reinforce the ice failed. Dashing forward with glittering shards of ice falling from his fur, a few sparks escaped his jaws. Reaching the Duskull, he snapped at the enveloping cloak with electricity-laced fangs.

The duskull floated up to Lenore, and the two left the stadium together.
