Urza smiled as they all took off. But they were briefly stopped as some people, old acquaintances perhaps, stopped Kina. They were a couple of odd looking fellows. The one named Usa gave her a certain type of chills that ran down her spine, but it seemed the two meant no harm. As soon as Kina was free of Usa embrace and the two left she gave Uza and Miyako a smile. That was what tipped something off that Kina was up to something. Kina didn't seem to smile for much, and it was pretty easy to see through her disguise. Urza decided to let it go however, if she truly wanted Miyako and Urza to know, she would have simply told them the truth.

Urza spotted a weapons shop that she wanted to stop at and looked at the other two. "Hey, lets stop in this one, they look like they might have one!" Urza walked over to the side and into a weapons shop. From the outside she could tell that they carried a lot of different western arms and armors. As she walked in she looked around. Urza wasn't much for browsing when she knew exactly what she wanted. She walked up to the store owner at the counter and crossed her arms across her heart giving a slight neck bow. "Maker smile upon you today" Urza lifted her head looking around. A bit, "I was curious if you sold any lances or shields, and if you did how much they might cost." Urza was blunt and straight to the point.

Miyako watched as the two 'friends' of Kina showed up and gave her a hug. They didn't seem all that harmless, but the vibe she got from Kina's response was another story. She wouldn't talk about it until they were well alone. She seemed slightly uncomfortable with having her there. They walked into a weapon's shop, and Urza got right to the point. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, but they did have some interesting things to look at.

Toshi sat up as he took his cup and downed what little there was left. He set it down slowly as he reached for his shoes. He slowly put them on with a smile on his face as he left to go out into the main part of town. He put the skewer deep into a dirt patch. He pushed himself up as he placed his cup on the edge of a bench. He'd be back for it later. It was the first dish he has ever bought. He continued his way down back toward the main city. He ducked into an alley and stopped. He stood there blinking for a moment at a pure black cat. The cat slowly raised its head in curiosity. The cat was beautiful and even a crescent scar above its right eye didn't diminish it. He felt bad that it was in a cage. He knelt down and outstretched his hand toward it. The cat hissed and batted its paw against the cage.

Toshi didn't pull away but he was in pain and kept his jaw clenched. "You've got a decent bite there little kitty. What's your name pretty kitty?" He sat there for a moment as it bit down harder as its claws sunk into into his skin. "Ow my finger you little b*****d that hurts!" His finger had taken enough abuse. He decided to pull his finger back and was met with a slashes on his arm where the cat stuck its paw through the slits in the cage. He sighed as he licked the blood off his arm and smiled at the kitty. "I don't know if I should forgive you for that. That really hurt." He stood up and walked away with ryo in hand.

Toshi smiled as the cat licked up the milk from his hand. "Well? Isn't that better? Out of a cage and nice milk 'nd meat." He slowly started to pick the cat up and when it didn't growl or hiss, he cradled it. The cat squirmed out of his grasp and decided to perch on his shoulder. It claimed that spot as his. As he walked with bottle of milk and meat in hand. He talked to the cat, unsure if it knew what he was saying or not. The cat didn't say anything. Not that it could it was a cat for crying out loud but he still continued to talk to it as he made his way back to the shop area. "What should I call you? I'm pretty sure meow is taken though. So that's off the table... How about Lunar for now. If you are a guy we can call you Lun. If you are are a girl then Luna, or Lunar. It's a mutual name so if you are a boy or girl they both sound pretty cool." He smiled as he nuzzled his cheek against Lunar's. 'Such a pretty kitty.' He thought to himself.

Urza sighed a bit. It meant using all of her money that she had earned in the previous village. Urza rummaged around in her bag finding the sack of coins. She counted again just to make sure. She had just 40 Ryo, that would be enough for the heavy shield, or the lance, but not nearly enough for both. She doubted the man would give her a fair offer on the sword she carried, so she thought it best not to even bother with the barter. Urza weighted the options of the two. On the one hand she needed the shield for pretty much any path she took. Except for Dervishes Urza didn't know of a single path that didn't require at least some shield specialization. But on the other hand the lance was a bit cheaper and would leave her a bit of money for books later. It was quite the dilemma on her hands. Urza decided to leave it up to chance, pulled out one of the Ryo and gave it a good flip.

The coin came up heads. Urza tossed the entire stack of ryo on the counter and looked at the man, "It looks as if The Maker wills the shield today my good ser." Urza smiled happy with her purchase. She wouldn't have any more money to spend unless she sold her sword, but unless she saw a book that she was dyeing to have she didn't think it was going to be all that necessary. Urza picked up the heaviest shield she could find that wasn't a tower shield and with ease lifted it off the ground and attached it to her arm. She had to hold on to the shield using the last strap rendering that arm incapable of anything besides weaving seals, and even then it was going to be no easy feat. But Urza was happy with her purchase. the craftsmanship was no were near to level of her fathers, but it was a solid shield. Urza looked over to her friend "See anything you like?" Urza asked adjusting her new shield

Miyako looked around at the store. There were plenty of weapons, but nothing that really seemed to stand out to her. Urza though seemed to be having a hay day. She even left it to fate... or God, to decide what she would buy. When it was decided that she buy a shield, she paid for it and began strapping it to her arm. She had to admit, she looked rather intimidating, among other things, while wearing her shield along with all the armor and sword. She wasn't someone to be messed with. "Nah, none of these seem to speak out to me. Perhaps I'll find something. For now I'll just use my fists and legs," she said giving her palm a punch, "To the book store then?" she could here and there for a trinket. She'd find something eventually. She wanted to ask Kina about the girl form before, she seemed to move... slithery? It wasn't the right word, but it was just abnormal...

Kina poked around the store herself looking a little distant, her thoughts still on the sight of those two...well, individuals being here. Did that mean that HE was here...? She had thought that meeting him was far off but... she was examining a particularly large spear that probably couldn't lift to save her life. And what would he want here in this city anyway? Was he planning something at the Cuunin exams? What could be near here that he might require...? She seemed to zone out thinking of this for a time. She was smart...there was no doubt. But she had never even been close to mind that was her cousins. His Intellect was higher even than the Intelligence director of the various villages, that a Kages. Maybe not THEIR Kages, in particular, but even so. Could she hope to be able to fathom his intent...? If he had sent those two by themselves, it meant that it was likely something that "The Requiem" herself didn't approve of... something he was doing alone... but what? What was here that they would be after...?

Kina gave a sigh. Opening her eyes and looking towards Urza who seemed to have made her choice in weapon...or rather shield. She noted the girl had, naturally, spent all her money on the article. She found it almost obvious that her friend would spend her reward on even more armor. "Hn," she gave a small mellow chuckle. "I think I'm good. I'm not even sure I could stand up carrying around one of those." she looked towards Miyako "and yeah, let's go." she seemed a little excited at the prospect of Books...or, as much as Kina got excited.
