Antarmur'ss resisted the urge to try and touch Ling again. Instead he watched the way his antenna waved and imagined how the other must be perceiving the ravine. Instead, he decided to send his voice, whispering to Ling's ear once more. "Let go..." He whispered to the other. "Let go... It will be all right." He murmured again as he made his shadow gently pull on Ling's hand and towards the edge of the precipice.

The soft, luring whisper of the Darkness floated into his ear. He was well aware that he was standing on the edge of a ravine and stepping forward would result in a nasty drop. But he was enthralled by the dark wonder before him, his desire and passion passing up any logic that may have stopped him at another time. He was guided by the gentle pull to the edge, where a warm breeze rustled through his hair. He took a deep breath, a peaceful expression on his blind face. Taking the final step he embraced the darkness, allowing it to get closer to him than he had ever allowed anything or one before. Not even a flash of doubt or fear showed on his face as he fell through the darkness, knowing somewhere in his mind that nothing bad would happen.

Ling stepped off the ledge. Antar allowed him to fall into the ravine. The warm wind rustled around him, but as he would fall, he'd sink down into a deeper darkness. Only once he reached a point where the darkness was so complete that even the power of a hundred watt bulb would be reduced to the strength of a matchstick. Only then would Antar reach out. Using the darkness as a pure extension of himself, he reached to cradle Ling in the air of the ravine. He would suspend him there. Surrounded by nothing but pure blackness. The sound of the water trickling came from above and below now. A warm spray of droplets misting the open air with a strange scent of earth. Here Antarmur'ss intended on cradling Ling. Allowing even his voice to be silent so he personally could enjoy the moment of control over Ling's position. He felt like...well...a God. Holding the most precious sparks of life in the palms of his hands.

The wonder, the joy, the beauty. Nothing Ling had ever experienced could even hold a candle to this moment. The marvel of the pure darkness that swallowed him as he fell freely into a darkness that was so black it was almost tangible. His antenna waved freely, the deprivation of his sight had never been such a blessing. He felt the hands of Darkness reach out to curb his decent. The soft spray of mist, the dank earthy smell and whisper of water rushing around him, combined with the sheer glory of the pure darkness that he wished he could enjoy such ecstasy forever. He no longer saw the one who called himself Darkness as anything other than what the word itself was; intoxicating.

And so, Antarmur'ss had gotten what he wanted. He held Ling now in the shadows. He felt his small body within his possession and this seemed to satisfy the dark god. As Ling immersed himself in the experience, Antar very gently began to manipulate his position in the free air. Once he had Ling back into a standing position, he would seek to pull the dark loving pockettu out of that place he had discovered, and ever so gently return him to where Antarmur'ss had originally found him. Back in his little corner where he had hidden until Antar had taken note of him.

Ling was lost in his awe of the dark place, he wished he could stay forever in the wondrous lonely darkness. He felt Darkness shifting him gently, the caress was the the most welcome touch he had ever experienced. Though he seemed to sense that he was about to be taken away from the purest of all darknesses he had ever been. Ling did not want to leave, not in a million years. It was so dark, so quiet and so perfect that nothing he had would be the same. "One wish in darkness to stay, not make it go away." His words where soft, mysterious, and probably the closest thing that Ling could and would ever get to pleading.

Leave them wanting. That was a saying wasn't it? Antarmur'ss would not answer Ling until he had returned him to where he had found him. His voice, a soft whisper still, spoke to the little pockettu. "Ah. It is wonderful there isn't it? But I can not keep you there forever...and those wonderful other places that I wish to show you...well..." He paused and considered how best to coax the pockettu to do what he wanted. "Another time. Sweet one. If you truly desire it... I may share more of my secrets with you, if you were to welcome me into your heart..."

Ling felt the deepness of the dark ravine slip away as he was pulled back to the corner he had first met the one who is Darkness. The place seemed bright compared the the blackness he had just experienced. A small, passive frown curved its way onto his lips and his antenna waved slowly, trying to re-adjust. The cool touch of Darkness left his skin and he wanted it back more than was expressed on his face. The soft whispering voice caused his antenna to twitch slightly. Taking a step back and sliding down the wall of the dim corner Ling ran his clawed hand through his black hair, a sort of self soothing motion. He lifted his blind face towards the source of soft alluring whisper. "One knows desire is not a fitting word for that which resides within." His calm, mysterious tone was hinted with longing. Ling's heart could belong to no other, it wasn't possible, not anymore. Even if he played a bit hard to get.

Satisfied that he had, in some way, left a mark upon Ling. Antar withdrew his presence from the other. he lingers only long enough to watch him stroking his hair. His soft words were...so pleasant to hear. For a moment Antarmur'ss considered changing his mind. To sweep Ling up in his control again and carry him off to another place...but no...too much all at once would dull the wonder and joy he was certain Ling would truly feel with each visit. So instead, he nudged a small token object from the shadows. A simple smooth black stone, no bigger then a thumbnail, would roll out from the dark corner and towards Lings feet. "A gift... until you catch my eye again Sweet one." Antarmur'ss voice would whisper, and fade as he would turn his attention elsewhere for now.

As Ling felt Darkness's presence slip away the sound of a stone rolling towards him. He reached forward with his regular hand to gently pick up the cool, smooth touch seemed to soothe him. The fading whisper and token gift reassured him that he would once again be able to experience the wonder of Darkness. He would just have to bide his time. He gently rubbed the black stone in his hand, enjoying the smooth surface of the stone, allowing his attention to focus on it rather than the level of darkness that filled the corner he sat in. His passive expression returning in the calm, loneliness.
