"Jay." Senga said out of habit and nothing more, and just as quickly as he'd lashed out, his wings snapped shut, and he turned to stare at her, the hood of his pelt around his neck and revealing tawny hair. "Why did you follow me?" There were no grey fissures in her skin, and no reason for her to come here, apart from following him. A notion which made him confused, considering that this place was devoid of action, apart from the whistle and whisper of voices crooning home thick in the air.
His eyes flickered to the distant outline of hunters, but he didn't bother to attack them yet. If they were waiting, something much bigger might have been coming for them, and Senga didn't mind a show.OOC SENGA IS NOT IN PVP! Her wings were curled around herself like a comforting blanket. The town was mostly empty. Jay’s gaze flicked toward the large dragon, her lips pressed together as she said nothing. She could feel the other horseman’s gaze on her and she turned toward Senga. “Because I’m your friend,” she answered. There was no elaboration because that was it. That was her reason. She didn’t even know if he considered Jay to be his friend, but she thought herself as his companion and for her that was enough.
She shifted her attention to the hunters and she froze. She wanted to draw her weapon. HateHateHateHate—

Around town, various buildings began to hum and shudder as metal scraped against metal. Entire houses split open and grew, revealing themselves to be massive missile towers. There were ten in all; all of them glowing with runic missiles primed to launch. And unfortunately for those aligned with Halloween, all of them went off.Quote: Lance has fired ze missiles! Targets:

The houses opening up had Marcus sputtering."The ********-" Why did NO ONE TELL HIM ANY OF THESE THINGS? Some seemed to go to big and nasty in the distance but how many hit was anyone's bet. The dragon needed to be put down. Pulling out his phone he began to send out a text to someone who hopefully could figure out wtf to do. lizbot Insanity Dragon in Towns. Powerful. Unsure if it's heading to HQ or labs. Can't hold long Edith please forgive him but he seriously had no idea what to do. Gale could not seem to get the words out, pain shooting through his head as he stumbled, then straightened abruptly, lifting a hand to press against his temple. He was angry, more angry than he could say, and his fingers came away from his face tinged with blood that was soaked into his hair.

Jay looked at Senga. She opened her mouth to say something to the executioner, but then the towns began to stir. “?!” Standing her ground, the horsewoman held out her arms and reflexively summoned her weapon. Eyes were narrowed when she watched the houses split open to reveal missile towers. She gave the contraptions curious stares. What kind of technology was….? The glowing missiles should have told her enough. Jay squawked, immediately leaping into motion when she saw the weapons heading for her. How many were there?! She kept her eyes wide open so she could dodge a majority of them, but there were too many for her to avoid. A few managed to hit her. She squawked again.
The horsewoman was still attempting to regain her composure when she heard a young voice. When she flicked her gaze toward the source she found a small blond boy. Lips curled into a smile, her grip on her blade loosening and tightening. “Make me.”OOC Jay IS NOT IN PVP! "Hmmm."
Senga stared at Jay for a long moment, but the sound of missiles in the air might have been distracting enough for him to turn his head. Some hit, sending him back and sending plumes of white mist and dust spraying in the air, and all the executioner could think was, I want to go home. But the thought was foreign, like something that didn't fit into his head, that had been placed there by someone else.
The voices all chanted, homehomehome. Over and over, again and again.
"Jay," Senga rasped when he heard the gun c**k at the jabberjay.
No, don't, Anger and protectiveness flashed and ached dully inside of him, all muted by the call that came from nowhere and everywhere all at once. Don't hurt her.

He awoke in an unfamiliar place, his mind centred on but a single thought:
They had arrived. Finally, finally, they had made it. Together. They were home.
There was a hint of something tickling at the corner of his mind, but it was easily washed away with how comfortable he felt.
But something was MISSING.
Something was lacking.
All the satisfaction drained out of the reaper, and he howled, again, with fury.
WE ARE HOME. WHAT IS WRONG?
Summoning his blade, he drags it along the ground, dragging it in the dirt as he hunts. He must find it-- they had to. They were at home, they had tried so hard, they had come SO FAR.
They had been LED HERE.
He let out a snarl of rage, bringing his blade down hard against the nearest surface.

The horsemen were just as attack shy with the dragon around it seemed, something Marcus could be thankful for. What hed' never be thankful for ever in his life was the image of a triangle like head, and a large knife dragging on the ground. Mist was around them, and it shuffled just like it did in the games. Dis was non responsive but Marcus? "No." He ******** no." Loudly. "WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE SILENT ******** HILL?" Edith was in the middle of her pre-brunch snack, caramel covered tofurkey kabobs, when the call came in. Actually a lot of calls came in. But when it came to Marcus, he was the one she couldn't quite trust to handle himself well for long, so she arrived in the town not too long after, kabob stick in one hand, bat in the other. Finishing the last of her snack, Edith calmly took in the sight of Insanity Godzilla. Yep. This was a problem. Her weapon's glow intensified with it's charge until it formed a small, floating orb. Flipping her hat backwards, the leader assumed a batter's stance, and tested her swing once, then twice, then.... CRACK!The ball of light split into many parts, each slamming into a hunter within the town, a softly glowing sphere forming around each of them. ALL HUNTERS IN THE AREA U GET A BUFF The shields created by Edith's Balls of Power reliably protect all hunters in the area for 1 dmg every attack. OOC MY CHARACTER NAME HERE IS NOT IN PVP!
