He does look a little mexican,but he looks pretty asian to me.

Some people can see the asian ancestry in him. I knew just from looking at him that he wasn't a full asian (both his parents). The main thing is his eyes. If he was full asian then there will be the more pudgey look around the eyes, but instead his eyes are drawn more back into the face.
Also, the Fort Minor song is called Kenji, telling the story of his grandfather around World War II.

Mike's dad is Japanese. Mike's mom is Russian.
Yeah, I bet you already knew that.
It still bothers me...
Does he look Japanese to you?
Because he doesn't (Well, to me anyways).
He looks more like a quarter mexican or something.

I've never thought about him being half Japanese. I just knew he was at least Japanese because of his last name.

I knew when i first saw him. he just looks half japanese... but russian i cant tell

I never questioned their nationality when I first heard of them.
The music was just too good.
Though it does seem he would be slightly hisapanic.
If you had of never knew he was half Japanese and half Russian.
All over the place it says he's half Japanese and half American.
Until long ago I came up with an L.P. site saying he was half Russian.
I was so confused at the time.
Either half Russian or American.

of course mike is half-jap. i mean look at his middle name as well as his last name. i mean Kenji is japanese for strong second son. plus shinoda is a very well known japanese last name.

he's like my friend, he's half japanese and half white, and I can't really tell with mike OR my friend. this, however, is ironic seeing as how my friend can't stand Fort Minor

i think he definitly has a little bit of a japenese look to him. listen to the song kenji off of fort minor the rising tide, it pretty much tells the story.
