A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue...Username: Thalion Your entry: Tell us about your design: Nothing huge, I took some traditional tiki colors/patterns and scratched up the 'paint' on the mask so it looks like it's seen some use. Small edits to make it more horse-like for fun! Your preference: Tiki Mare

A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue...Username: sbuggy166 Your entry: Cow God Gets Angry >DTell us about your design: the cow is a sacred animal that brings forth milk and much bounty in the land. they are worshiped around the lands for providing life. worship the god of bounty, do not mock him for as docile as a cow may be, they still have horns. (the first image is of the cow god, then as it unfolds it becomes an angry cow god...beware, cow tipping is fun, untill you bring out the bull) (oh and the last image is proof that i made it, because im an idiot and forgot to add it) oh and i made this from an envelope and that how i got it to unfold ;D Your preference: Tiki Warrior

A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue... Username: Thalea Your entry: [x]Tell us about your design: He is the Harvest Tiki Man, his inspiration actually came from the Green Man and a Hawaiian Tiki statue. As I was gluing bark on him, he began to be more fallish and thus more Harvestish. He is made from bark and leaves from trees around my mom’s house and green paper as the mask base. Oh and can’t forget the hot glue, could not have made him without it lol. The flowers that are on him are not actually glued to the mask, they were added to make him look more festive :} Your preference: Tiki Warrior

A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue... Username: Daeril-sama Your entry: Sketch, and finished piece Tell us about your design: Natural, very natural. Most people don't associate owls with the pacific islands, but barn owls and other such creatures do make the islands their home. As for the deer antlers, most deer species are an invasive species, rare, and potentially destructive. Your preference: Tiki Mare

Edit 7/28/12 added animation A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue... Username: Elf Princess Flannery Your entry: sketch, lineart, flats, Shaded, Spooky, DetailTell us about your design: I was so excited to see this event! I wanted to create a Tiki Soquili. and wanted to show something frightening and yet beautiful. the spooky mist and lights are to represent the mystical powers the tiki posses. The designs carved into the mask are inspired from the traditional Polynesian tribal designs. I'm very happy with the design and hope you enjoy it as well! Thank you for the opportunity! Your preference: Tiki Warrior also made this funny animation of my indian persona Flan dancing with it! (it was stuck in my head and I wanted to share it!) images created in photoshop and put together in aftereffects 1st one

A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue...Username: She-Ra of Etheria Your entry: Tell us about your design:What's a tiki party without fire? A dull one that's for sure. So this tiki mask is a celebration of the bonfires and torches used in tiki parties and also shows other aspects such as the ocean, palm leaves and tattoo markings. Your preference: Tiki Mare

A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue... Username: The Ariadelle Your entry: Link Tell us about your design: Who says that tiki has to be all about the fire? Sometimes taking a moment to dwell deeper into the forests can reveal a different type of inspiration. Made on Photoshop and inspired by tropical forests, as well as Montezuma, with a Polynesian inspired design highlighted as well. Your preference: male, femaleEdited prefs

What says tiki bars and Hawaiian luaus more than ukuleles? And what says ukuleles more than Tiny Tim? A stick, a twig, some feathers and glue...Username:Thamin Your entry: Link!Tell us about your design: I honestly didnt have any clue what or even how to go about making a mask for this. So one day, after a very dirty day at work, I was washing my hands before taking the little one from the sitter. I turned the dirt and grime covered bar over and over in my palm and then I was struck with an idea. Carve the bar of soap. I started with cleaning the dirt from the bar then carving it to the shape I wanted. I etched a basic nose, mouth, and put two eyes on it. Then... Well then I just sort of set out carving with my screwdriver, carving whatever came to mind, and slowly - slowly - between work, little man, and sleep the mask took form. ( All photo's taken during the making ) Supplies used: Used bar of dove soap Wax paper Blush Brush Screwdriver Your preference: Tiki Warrior
