~Greetings,~ said Lireal, ~My name is Lireal, and this is Willow. It's nice to meet you.~

~Yes,~ agreed Willow, ~It is nice to meet some new friends.~ She glanced over at the young male and smiled. ~May I join you?~ she said to him, as she began to wade out into the water. It wasn't very deep, here near the bank, but then she wasn't really planning to roll about in the water the way he and Alyce had been doing when they arrived.

Lireal watched her friend walk into the water, and then turned her attention to the mare that was standing nearby. ~Hello,~ she said to her, ~I hope you don't mind the intrusion.~

~Well Keyvn, it's a pleasure to meet you. You seem to be having a good bit of fun in here,~ she said, motioning to the water with her head, ~It does feel very cool on my skin. I think perhaps I shall lie down in it for a bit, and wash the dust from my back.~ She folded her legs under her and lowered her body down into the cool water. Lireal meanwhile walked over to Molly. ~Yes, Lireal,~ she said, ~an that is my friend Willow. This meadow seems like a nice, quiet place to rest for the day. We have no particular destination in mind. We are just traveling through the land, seeing what there is to see.~

Lireal caught motion out of the corner of her eye and turned to see what it was. Coming into the clearing was another unicorn. It was a small filly, and very cute. She waited to see if one of its parents would emerge, but no other unicorn made an appearance. "Excuse me Mollie, but it looks like we have a young visitor. I'm going to go see if she's lost."

Lireal trotted over to the filly and greeted her. "Hello young lady. I'm Lireal, and I'm curious as to where your parents are?"

"Really?" replied Lireal. Magic? It was not unknown in this land, but she had never before seen any magic that would keep an adult unicorn in the body of a child. This was something that intrigued her. "How long have you been like this Leo? How old are you?" She and Willow had been looking for something to sink their teeth into, and if Leo was truly under some sort of magical spell, it might be an adventure to see if they could figure out how to break it.

Lireal was shocked and disgusted as she stood there listening to the small, yet adult unicorn's tale. She could not even imagine leaving behind a child, should she ever be blessed enough to have one, alone in a forest, no matter how safe it might be, at such a tender age. If she ever ran across Leo's parents, she would have a few choice words for them. She lowered her head down to Leo's and nuzzled her along her neck as she said, "That is terrible Leo. If I knew what had caused this, and how to reverse it, I would do so immediately, but alas I do not. However, come with me and we shall go over to the others, and see if any of them have any ideas." She nudged the small unicorn to stand and walked back to the lakeside.

"Friends, Willow", she said, "this is Leo, and she has a strange tale to tell of her current plight. Listen and then tell us if you have any insight into why she has been plagued so." She waited for Leo to tell them again, what she had just revealed.

With the story catching her attention Mollie gracefully stepped over to get a better look at Leo.
"Little one," she mused aloud, "Have you tried to find your way into the rest of the world before now? Or is this your first venture outside of where you were left?"

With the others distracted by the newcomer, Kevyn made his way silently out of the pool and disappeared into the brush to shake himself off and roll in the grass a bit in hopes of becoming a bit more dry. Once more composed, he made a re-appearance in time to hear the end of Mollie's question.
