Danny shook her head vigorously. "Yup, you got it all right!" No wonder he was a professor- he was so smart!
"We just ... don't really know where to start." Teachers, adult figures- they were supposed to help you in times of need right? That's what they always taught you anyways. Look for an adult, call the boogies- that sort of thing.

Roch didn't even care if he was going to get detention. He just needed as many people helping as he could, he thought as he stood. But... y'know, there was probably a reason he hadn't gone to Hellma.

Facing them there was a very loud 'TWACK' as he hit them each with the folder.
"You stupid, moronic, incompetent, idiots. Do you have any idea how much danger you put yourselves in? Jack I should have the both of you expelled!" He fell back into his seat. "Augh, this is a mess." Rengath motioned for them to sit. "How many other people have you told, and who else knows about this?" He gave them a level look. "And no, I'm not expelling you."
Yet anyway.

Roch shrugged, not even flinching at the folder thwacking. "I've thought of expelling myself a few times," he said honestly. "Every jackin' field trip we get has dissipating involved--sometimes often. It gets frustrating. But... I asked around the underground, Gramps hasn't heard anything--he owns an underground casino," he said honestly.
"I'm thinkin' other students know, it's hard not to notice when your ghoulfriend or boilfriend disappears." Which was something he'd only recently noticed. "I got no clue who THEY'VE gone to, though.

Danny, on the other hand, flinched and made a noise, then stuck both fists up. She was used to fighting, but not when the opponent made a surprise attack! She was ready for a full out brawl.
When Rengath mentioned expulsion, the color drained from her face. She couldn't be expelled! No! She'd worked so hard to become a hob, and all her friends were here-
Luckily the teacher took back his statement. "A lot of people were down there ... and I only searched from Amphi but I found out about the other four, so I'm sure a lot of people know by now ..."
With Rengath's gesture, Danny was sitting in the chair, being a good little ghoul. She really didn't want to get expelled!

"Hell, I didn't take roll call," Roch said, frowning as he tried to recall who all had been underground. "I know that Vaith was... he had the phone, and Isra, think I saw him, pretty sure I saw Mitzi, Jericho, Sammy, some gray demon with paper wings, Yin... honestly, there were a lot of students, and then there were hunters that LOOKED like students. It was a clusterjack." He shrugged.
"It'd be pretty hard to keep them all shut up about it, if that's your goal. But I don't give a crap about who finds out or not--I just need SOMEONE that's actually tryin' to help find the ones that were lost. Or... find out if they're dead."

Danny was vaguely wondering why they were keeping someone's mother, but she'd seen weirder things at this school. She only hoped they were feeding her regularly. Hunger was no fun!
"But it's our friends!" Danny protested, somewhat more animated than the moment called for. "I don't want a fiasco either, but ... I dunno it seems kind of stupid to do nothing." She kicked at the ground and said, "'Cause I mean ... more and more people will notice they're missing. It won't go away."
Then Amityville would have an even bigger issue blowing up in their faces. "We're only hobs ... we can't really do much in Halloween, but you professors 'n stuff.." She stared at Rengath blankly. She wanted to like him, but he was giving her too many reasons not to. She sighed though. "Look if you don't wanna help we won't make you. We were just asking." She gave a little pout after that.

Rubbing his head, Rengath stared at the both of them. "Shut up. For your own sake. Give a crap because I can assure you, there are those who will seek you out."
A look to the door, the demon scowled. "I cannot do much, if anything. My hands are tied in more ways than I can say. But I can tell you this. When in doubt, scream."
He shifted in his seat. " Theater is full of actors, masks that we wear on stage of life. My advice is find your own mask." A sigh. "Now get out. I have work to do."
