ɳ ɑ ʈ ɧ ɑ ɳ ΐ ϵ ʅ __Ȥ ΐ ҏ ҏ ʂSimply Human ............► ► ► Nathan nodded, understanding how Abigail felt - well, mostly, not quite exactly. He followed suit when she got out of the car, and closed his door. He looked up at the apartment building, then sighed. He saw her smiled at him, telling him that she paid the bill. He felt even more pathetic. He looked down at the ground, running a hand through his hair. "Thanks," he muttered. He shook his head when she asked if he was okay. "Yeah, I have a headache. Just sobering up, I guess." He cracked a smile at her, trying to joke, feeling more himself now. All he really needed was some sleep, but Nathan felt that he had to protect Abigail, or at least help her get through this whole monster thing. She was the only one that understood what he was going through, and he had to be there for her.
Nathan nodded when she asked if he had salt. "Let's get inside and I'll do that quick." He glanced at her when her phone rang. He laughed when she jumped, and kept smiling while she answered it. It sounded like she was off the hook for work today, which seemed to have worked out perfectly for Abigail. When she hung up, he continued watching her. He started walking towards the apartment building, losing his footing every once in a while. He held the door open for Abigail, and said, "I'll put my salt in my apartment quick while you get into yours. I'll meet you at your apartment - we can watch movies or listen to music or just do something to get our minds off of this." He winked, not as sexy as it could have been, then thought for a moment. "Will you be okay until after I shower also? I suddenly realize how... dirty I am." He chuckled at himself. "I can't believe you dragged me to that cafe while I was in that horrible condition, haha!" He smiled and leaned on the door, continuing to watch Abigail, trying to be friendly.•°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°•

★☆"Can you see that I'm bound in chains?"★☆ Smiling at Nathan at his comment of his dirty clothes she felt a little better. He was funny and sweet and she was so glad she ran into him. Even though she found out stuff she wish she hadn't. At least she's not a lone. "Thank you! I really didn't want to be alone..." She thought as she nodded and walked through the door he held open for her. "I'll be fine while you set your salt and shower." she glanced a head of her to the stairs. "My apartment number is 4B." She smiled and added "I have tons of movies plus netflix." She started walking up the stairs. "So I'll see you soon." She gave a little wave and a big smile then continued to her apartment.
As Abigail walked the stairs to her apartment she let her smile fade. She unlocked her door and walked in. She locked it behind her and shook. She took deep breaths and eventually stopped shacking. She wasn't sure how she would act the next time she talked or saw Cayli. She started to let herself think about her situation a little at a time as she walked to the kitchen to put tea on since she hasn't gone to the store yet. "I'm so glad I'm not going through this alone. I'd be a mess." She smiled on that thought and walked to her couch sitting in her favorite spot. ɳ ɑ ʈ ɧ ɑ ɳ ΐ ϵ ʅ __Ȥ ΐ ҏ ҏ ʂSimply Human ............► ► ► Nathan nodded when she told him where her apartment was. He smiled as she left, thinking to himself that she was very pretty, especially when she smiled. He remembered someone telling him that smiles can change the way people look - on the outside and the inside. He watched as she walked up the stairs, then he released his breath slowly, his smile falling. What was he doing? He should be getting some sleep or something; he had work tonight at eight. He closed his eyes, leaning against the wall in the tiny main lobby of the apartment building, then opened them again, looking up the stairs. They looked scary, mostly because he couldn't see them correctly. Nathan found that he didn't like to be alone now; what if a vampire came and snatched him up and drank his blood, killing him?! Nathan had to force the thought out, and walked upstairs carefully, not wanting to fall and die that way instead.
The first thing he did upon reaching his apartment was find the salt and sprinkle it along the bottom edge of the door, keeping a close eye on how much he set down. He didn't want his roommates to find out about the salt, but he had to protect him and Sean and Connor. Nathan hurried to all the windows in the apartment: one in the living room, one in his bedroom, and one in the other two's room (after making sure they were both gone - Nathan didn't need to be asked what the hell he thought he was doing). As he put the salt away in the cabinet in the kitchen, Nathan was just glad that his apartment didn't have too many windows, and he was glad that Sean and Connor didn't like to clean much. 'Thank God,' was all Nathan could think as he hurried into the shower.
In his hurry, Nathan tripped going into the warm shower, but he caught himself. He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself, then stepped into the warm running water. It fell in thin streams of water down his naked body, and it simply felt amazing. He wetted his hair, then put a little glob of shampoo in his hair, feeling it work its clean magic. He rubbed his whole body three times with liquid soap, then found a bar of soap and used that, then went back to his liquid soap. Nathan washed his face with his soap, then sighed. He felt clean, but at the same time not clean enough, like he forgot something, but he knew he didn't forget anything - after all, it was pretty hard to forget how to shower. He blamed it on the worry about Abigail, Cayli, and the monsters - he couldn't get all three out of his head since he set foot in the shower.
Nathan reached Abigail's apartment with no trouble. He felt better than before, his headache worse, his stomach felt odd, but he was more sober than he had been, and he was glad. He was fresh and clean smelling, wearing jeans and a navy blue T-shirt that faintly read "I'm a Keeper!" in white and a light gray hoodie-jacket that he left unzipped. He knocked on Abigail's door gently, not wanting to startle her, and waited for her to let him inside.•°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°•

★☆"Can you see that I'm bound in chains?"★☆ Abigail jumped when her tea kettle went off and she laughed at herself for being jumpy. She had been thinking of Cayli and the monsters wondering what books to get with information about protecting yourself from werewolves and vampires. She got up and went to the kitchen to take the kettle off the stove still thinking. "Maybe I'll go to the library and check out books later." She pored herself a mug of tea and went back into her living room. She set her mug on the side table and decided to take her shoes off. She set them in her closet and double checked her place was clean. Once she was satisfied she went to the couch and sat down. She took a sip of her tea and sighed.
When Nathan knocked on her door she almost jumped. She was glad she didn't or else hot tea would be all over her. "Just a minute!" She set her tea down and walked to the door. Abigail unlocked her door and let Nathan in. She blushed realizing this was the first time a guy had come over. Usually it was just Cayli...on that thought she sighed. "Could she really blame Cayli? Could she end their friendship just because Cayli didn't tell her about herself honestly? Or on the other hand could she really accept her as a werewolf and not be scared?" She'll have to think more on that later.
Abigail gave Nathan her attention and smiled spreading her arms out wide showing the living room. "So. This is my place feel free to sit anywhere. I have tea in the kitchen if you'd like some." Abigail smiled after reading his shirt. she arched an eyebrow as she said playfully "Nice shirt. Is it true?" She giggled as she locked the door behind Nathan and checked the salt to make sure it was still in an unbroken line. Satisfied she walked over to her small hall way that led to the two rooms. She made the extra room into her library. "I have tons of movies and books in this room. Feel free to look and see if you want to watch anything." She walked in and turned the light on. Lydia Bane Falkor : Werewolf “With blood on my hands and senses most unhuman...” After walking around the streets of the city for an hour or two that night Lydia decided it was late and she should probably head to bed. She quickly made her way to the apartment room she stayed at, which was probably a good ten to fifteen minute walk away from where she was at at the time. When she made it to her room, unlocking it with a key she kept in her pocket, she kicked off her shoes so they lay near the door. She also hung up her trench coat on the back of the couch, the card Dorian gave her earlier that night was practically ripped to shreds from playing with it.
Lydia quietly shuffled to her room, which was well kept and had all her belongings in place, and just threw herself into the bed. She was too tired to pull on pajamas and would change clothes in the morning after a shower. Pulling the thick blankets over her head, she buried her face into the pillow and fell asleep.
A few hours later and morning came, Lydia's alarm going off to get ready for early college classes. She woke up long enough to punch the off button before she fell back asleep. She would probably skip her classes today, like she has been the past week or two. It's becoming a horrible habit and it was ruining her perfect grades but she was determined to find the person who attacked her. She didn't realize it yet but she was deathly afraid of waking up covered in blood again. She shuddered once in her sleep, rolling over so that the blankets were wrapped around her like a cocoon. She would wake up later, get ready for the day, and probably walk around some more. Maybe in the park or something.
“...Just what am I?”

ɳ ɑ ʈ ɧ ɑ ɳ ΐ ϵ ʅ __Ȥ ΐ ҏ ҏ ʂSimply Human ............► ► ► Nathan smiled when she smiled, and nodded when she showed him the place. The layout was mostly the same as his own apartment, but it was decorated, had more of a feminine feel to it, and Nathan realized that the apartment actually looked good when it was all decorated like that. His own apartment was plain and simple, very obvious that a bunch of men lived in it. "Tea sounds nice," he stated, then noticed the Abigail was reading his shirt, and cracked a smile. Nathan stepped into the apartment, putting his hands into his pockets, where his keys, wallet, and his grandfather's pocket knife were. When she playfully asked if his shirt was true, he smiled wider and leaned in close to her and whispered, "You wanna find out?" He laughed softly with a wink, then followed Abigail to what it looked like, her library.
Nathan looked around the room, a room that his room would have been in in his own apartment, and was awed at how well Abigail used this place. "How long have you lived here?" Nathan asked, after she told him to look around for something to watch. He proceeded to do so, finding a bookshelf of movies and peering at it. When he suggested a movie, he didn't really have anything in mind, not that he thought he, personally, would watch it. He had too much going on in his mind. Nathan tried to pick something that wasn't related to vampires or werewolves or anything like the newly known monsters. There were a lot of history movies, he noted, and smiled when he saw "Saving Private Ryan." That was his favorite movie, and pulled it out. He turned to face Abigail and smirked. "What girl who lives alone has 'Saving Private Ryan' in their home movie selection?" he asked her, raising an eyebrow. He chuckled and started to leave the room, content with his pick.•°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°•

★☆"Can you see that I'm bound in chains?"★☆ Abigail thought on Nathans playful question as she watched him walk around the room looking for a movie. She blushed wondering if he was just being playful or had been a little serious. She looked around the room and sat in one of her chairs by the door. She glanced at him when he asked how long she'd lived there. She thought a moment and then smiled. "A few years. I haven't really paid much attention. Time flies by me specially when I'm reading. I get sucked in for hours." She laughed at that and blushed. She knew sometimes that trait bugged people after awhile because it would make her late to meetings or home from work.
Abigail stood and giggled. All history has always fascinated her. she had history books, movies, magazines... Her place probably seemed more a museum of information than anything else...well at least this room. She was glad he picked that movie. His choice told her that he had good taste. "I've always loved anything and all history. I'm a Historian. That's another reason time passes without me noticing. I can't help loosing myself in the stories." She ran her hand through her hair a little embarrassed as she headed out of the library. "Uh..I'll get the tea and meet you in the living room. You can sit anywhere." She went to the kitchen with a smile on her face and poured Nathan a mug of hot tea and headed back to the living room. (OOC smile ★☆"I've finally found my way, I am bound to you."★☆

ɳ ɑ ʈ ɧ ɑ ɳ ΐ ϵ ʅ __Ȥ ΐ ҏ ҏ ʂSimply Human ............► ► ► Nathan chuckled when she told him how long she lived there and her reading habits. "You like to read?" he asked, glancing back at her. She was blushing - it was kind of cute, and it made Nathan smile. He looked around the room when she mentioned how much she loved history, and how she was a Historian. He looked at her when she stated her occupation. He was shocked - she certainly didn't look like a Historian. Nathan pictured a Historian to be a small brunette with glasses and a shy personality. Abigail was the exact opposite, as far as Nathan could tell. 'I guess that shouuld teach me to judge a book by its cover,' he thought, then realized that related to how he never knew where a demon or werewolf or vampire was around him. Abigail left the room then, and Nathan shuddered. He hated this whole monster thing. He took a deep breath, trying to deal with it without acting like a little wuss.
Nathan looked around the library again, reading some titles of the books that she owned. Nathan didn't read much of anything - he would much rather be out with friends or something. He turned the light off in the room and walked into the living room, placing the movie on the coffee table, seeing that there was a mug of tea sitting on a coaster in there, and Abigail sitting on the couch. "I think the last novel I truly read was Lord of the Flies in my senior year of high school and even then, I only got through almost two chapters and told my teacher that I would refuse to read it because they made fun of the fat kid in the book." Nathan chuckled at himself. Since then he tried to avoid reading - he didn't even really read his text books in college. He actually wasn't quite sure how he graduated college, now that he thought about it. He sat down on the couch, leaning back into the softness of it. He released his breath softly, closing his eyes and laying his hurting head back on the back of the couch. After just a moment, though, he leaned forward to pick up his tea and took a small sip of it. It tasted really good - he held onto the mug, waiting for Abigail to start the movie, since he wasn't sure how to work her entertainment center.•°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°•

★☆"Can you see that I'm bound in chains?"★☆ Abigail walked over to her tv and turned to pick up the movie off the coffee table. "I bet your teachers loved you." She glanced at Nathan with laughter in her eyes and noticed he was so cute relaxing on her couch. She smiled to herself as she took out the dvd and put it in her dvd player. She turned the tv on and grabbed the remotes. Abigail sat on the couch next to Nathan and got comfy. "Show time! This will be great." she smiled and pushed the play button then set the remotes on the coffee table. She then picked up her mug and took a sip of her tea. It felt good and warm making her feel sleepy and cozy. She fought the sleep part a little scared to sleep in case she has nightmares.
She wanted to just cuddle with Nathan and forget the scary monsters for now so she could rest and feel normal. The movie started and she watched a bit of it before she started loosing the battle of staying awake. Her eyes kept closing and a little moan escaped as she gave into sleep her head sliding onto Nathans shoulder. She dreamed of Werewolves, Vampires, Demons and Cayli. Some of it wasn't scary but other parts were. Fights broke out, people were attacked and she couldn't wake up. she was stuck in her nightmare not sure if it was a dream or reality. ɳ ɑ ʈ ɧ ɑ ɳ ΐ ϵ ʅ __Ȥ ΐ ҏ ҏ ʂSimply Human ............► ► ► Nathan sipped on his tea as Abigail turned the movie on. He glanced at her when she plopped down next to him on the couch, then smiled when she yelled, "Show time!" He agreed with her, and settled in to watch the gruesome beginning of the movie. He remembered during his sophomore year in high school when his world history teacher felt that there was no need to teach anything three days before the end of school and had Nathan's class watch "Saving Private Ryan," with the warning of not telling anyone that they were watching it so he didn't lose his job. Nathan didn't tell a single soul besides his mother, who thought it was totally awesome that they were watching it and not worried at all that it wasn't school appropriate at all. Nathan softly chuckled at the memory, leaning back into the couch, drinking his tea.
When things settled down in the movie, and when Nathan was full of his tea, his eyes were slipping closed. He wanted to watch the movie, but his head hurt and he hadn't slept and he had to work tonight, how couldn't he sleep? He would just take a little nap; just a short one, hopefully Abigail wouldn't mind.... He felt something on his shoulder and saw blonde hair out of the corner of his eye. He smiled softly, then lay his head on her own, and unconciously wrapped his arms around her, pulling her in close, closing his eyes. He slept peacefully for a few minutes, then the two slid down to lay on the couch together, Nathan holding her in tight to his body, like she was his lifeline.
Nathan started having dreams, then, nightmares, actually. Slideshows of vampires in various predator-type poses, blood spilling out from their mouths, glaring at him with bright eyes, eyebrows angled down in an angry expression. The salt along his door was somehow inturrupted, allowing a demon to sneak into his apartment, killing off Sean and Connor, and Abigail was in Nathan's room, and the demon snatched her as well and ate her, and all Nathan could do was watch from afar, watching the gruesome details. Then it was of Cayli, her clothes ripping, revealing her werewolf form - the kind of werewolf in Hollywood films, standing dog-people - her eyes golden now, her gray-brown fur narled and rough-looking, her expression looking like she would kill him any second now. She was backed-up, then, by other werewolves, all having the same expressions, growling, closing in on Nathan.
Nathans screamed, jumping up from his place behind Abigail on the couch. He quickly realized that Abigail could fall off the couch, and he caught her and pulled her against him again. His face was wet - had he really been crying? 'What the hell,' he thought, disgusted with the fact that he was crying. He didn't make any move to wipe his face, though, just held Abigail and laid his head against her back, trying to erase his dream from his mind. The movie was still playing - it was near the end, the soldiers rushing around, killing the enemies rolling through the ruined city. Nathan couldn't bear to listen to the loud gunshots, the yelling, the screams. He reached for the remote and just turned the TV off, not sure what else to do. The sounds and picture disappeared, and Nathan clutched Abigail, trying to get control of his breath, afraid to close his eyes again. He seriously had to get himself together, he couldn't be acting like a baby anymore.•°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°•

★☆"Can you see that I'm bound in chains?"★☆ Abigail was slightly aware of Nathans head on hers as her dream took her away. She had no idea Nathan was holding her so close like he feared letting her go and being lost or the fact that they now lay on the couch lost in terrors wrapped in each others arms. Abigails dream was full of monsters. The fighting was in such graphic detail she thought it was real. Werewolves were attacking Vampires while Vampires attacked Humans and who knew what the demons were doing. For all anyone knew the Demons were behind it all. Laughing at all the mayhem they caused. Then Cayli was there. They yelled at each other and cried and almost threw fits at each other but Nathan was there stopping the fight before it got bad between us. She moaned in her sleep terrified of what she saw and praying to wake up if it was a dream.
Abigail heard a scream that sounded real close and looked around. She didn't see anyone close enough to have screamed and for a moment she thought she had scream till she felt the sensation of falling then being stable again. Some how that was enough to pull her out of her dream. She opened her eyes and found herself laying on the couch with Nathans arms around her. As she became more aware of her surroundings she noticed Nathans breathing and the death grip he had on her. She rolled over to face him and saw tears on his face. She wrapped her arms around him and held him pressing her face into his chest. "I had a nightmare too but I'm guessing yours was way worse." She pulled back a little to look at him. "You're fine. We are fine. They were just bad dreams. Fears that our minds put into pictures." She said to reassure them both. She moved her hand to his face and wiped his tears away. She felt how tense his body was and saw the fear in his eyes. She moved onto her elbow and looked down at him. She moved her hand, that had wiped his tears, across his cheek trying to give comfort and leaned toward him placing a kiss on his lips hopping the fear would go away. ɳ ɑ ʈ ɧ ɑ ɳ ΐ ϵ ʅ __Ȥ ΐ ҏ ҏ ʂSimply Human ............► ► ► Nathan felt her move in his arms, and he loosened his grip on her. He was still panicked, but he felt a little better now, reassuring himself that it was just a dream, he would never see anything like that in real life. But he started panicking again when he saw Abigail's worried and scared expression, the fear in her sleepy eyes. She pulled him into her, and he held her back, a little confused as to why she was doing so. She didn't do it in fear, it was like... comfort. He closed his eyes, though, instantly a little more comforted, knowing that she understood how he was feeling at the moment. He wasn't surprised when she said that she had a nightmare as well, and he couldn't help but nodding when she assumed that his was worse. Nathan didn't speak, though, just held onto her. She pulled back a little, just to look at him, and Nathan smiled a little. "Yeah," Nathan replied hoarsly. He froze when she started wiping the tears off of his cheeks, staring at her. He didn't want to be taken care of - that's what the man full of pride screamed at him - but the real man in him, the simpler one, was telling him to enjoy it.
So, that's what Nathan did. He closed his eyes again, letting her wipe his tears away, letting her care for him and gently touch him. But, suddenly, she was closer than before, and Nathan had opened his eyes a milisecond before she leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He was surprised at first, then relaxed and kissed her back, holding onto her, enlonging the kiss until he ran out of breath. It was sweet, her lips soft as clouds. It was simple, though, but still special. He pulled away, breathing deeply to get oxygen into his brain again. He stared at Abigail, just watching her. He didn't know why she did that, but Nathan didn't care, really. He felt a better, his mind accepting that the dream wasn't real. Nathan smiled at her and hugged her in close, laying his head against hers. "I'm supposed to take care of you, but you are taking care of me," he said softly and slowly against her blonde hair. "Thank you." He closed his eyes again, feeling sleepy again. "I'm afraid to go back to sleep, though," he admitted. "But we both need it." He leaned back to look at her again, staring into her hazel eyes. "I promise to keep you safe - we'll stick together for this, we won't let those creatures do anything to us." Nathan smiled once more, and laid back down with her, holding her like she was his teddy bear.•°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°••°o.O O.o°•

★☆"Can you see that I'm bound in chains?"★☆ She was lost in the kiss as Nathan kissed her back. She felt him relax and she relaxed a bit too glad he hadn't pulled away. When the kiss ended she looked all dreamy and was a little out of breath. His kiss was soft and it had her heart racing. She let him pull her in closer and snuggled against him smiling. She heard him say thank you after his comment of him supposing to take care of her but she was taking care of him. "You're welcome Nathan. I'll always be here for you if its what you want." She said sleepily. She knew Nathan was right. They needed sleep even if the nightmares came. Nodding she looked up into his eyes in agreement "I never thought I'd be scared to sleep but we do need it." When Nathan laid back down and held her close.
She closed her eyes and smiled. He answered her 'if its what you want' comment. "Thank you." Abigail wasn't used to having anyone to care for her like this. Sure her parents were around but they had their social circles to attend and left her be knowing she was different from them. She had never liked the world her family was in. She was a book worm and kept to herself unlike them who threw parties and social events for big names. To Abigail this was life. Having some one to trust and be there for you. She thought she had Cayli who was her first real friend but now she wasn't sure and she fell asleep to that thought and dreams that came with it. ɳ ɑ ʈ ɧ ɑ ɳ ΐ ϵ ʅ __Ȥ ΐ ҏ ҏ ʂSimply Human ............► ► ► Nathan stayed awake, though, despite what he said. He continued holding her, his head laying up on top of hers, her hair tickling his face. He closed his eyes, and listened as her breathing became even and sleepily slow and he knew that she was asleep again. Nathan sighed softly, not wanting to wake her. It was comforting to have someone understand this whole creature thing with him. It was comforting to have someone not yell at him about how much of a baby he was being or telling him how he needed to pull himself together, not sympathy at all. Abigail gave him sympathy, but Nathan was longing for the yelling now, because he couldn't act like this any longer. He didn't know what he was going to do now. Accept that there are these monsters out in New York City? He just needed to talk to Cayli - that's what he decided after some thought. He couldn't just accept it until he knew more about it, and he had to assume that Abigail would be the same way. He could tell because of her occupation as a Historian - the girl was naturally curious about things, at least that was what Nathan believed.
Nathan relaxed some more, letting out a deep breath. His body engulfed Abigail's, his arms comfortably hugging her close to his chest. She was curled up against him, snuggling into him, and she seemed more at peace than she was earlier. Nathan started to rub her upper arm gently, not sure what to do. He moved his hand to her face, and his fingers very gently grazed her soft face, then he took his hand back and continued rubbing her upper arm. She was very beautiful - he had to admit it even sober. He smiled at this thought, then closed his eyes again, and fell back asleep. Great Spirit open their heart..
Cayli~
So we may teach them the way..
Cayli ran up the stairs and to the floor her best friend was on, She knocked on the door but heard no answer, She figured Abby was asleep or left for work. But Cayli did have a spare key so Cayli unlocked the door and gently opened the door, walked in quietly then shut the door quietly hoping not to wake Abigail. She saw two figures sitting on the couch cuddled up together and was confused because she did not know Abigail was seeing anyone. Cayli quietly snuck over to see who the man was and when she saw his face she went into utter shock, He was nothing special, just a player looking for someone to get with.
"What the ********> Cayli yelled kind of loud then covered her mouth realizing she had yelled she figured someone woke up but as quickly as she was there she began to run out the door, Now who could she trust, No one thats who, Cayli knew she overstayed her visit in this City and it was time to get out.
[[Just curious do Abigail and Cayli live together?]]
