Konstantin did not verbally acknowledge his friend. He offered her a silent nod, and with some effort, the smallest of shoulder nudges in greeting.
Instead of fiddling with his phone, the trainee pulled out his weapon's unsummoned form so that he could feed the little thing. As he did, Syntax Error beeped happily in reply.

Despite the text being from Caelius, Candace was actually happy for another mission. Hopefully this one wouldn't end with them becoming minipets and getting a nearly crippling flu again. It hadn't been..all bad...but it did suck. She hated the feeling of the room spinning, colors not matching, feeling like she was going to get sick just sitting up too quickly. ******** that.
She was glad to be doing actual work.
...Hopefully.

Not one to miss out on the party - or in this case, a debriefing that would be her unfortunate first - Madeline appeared in the room and steeled herself to the large amount of people here she didn't know. They also seemed to be recovering what seemed like a flu, and for that, she found herself just a teeny bit glad that she'd arrived after the apparent onslaught of suffering.
... Then again, she imagined that every day as a hunter was suffering.
( Never not suffering, doll. ) Arsenios put in unhelpfully.
Shh, Madeline tried to imagine pushing the pestering noise out of her head - which of course, was an in vain sort of gesture. So she instead settled at the edge of the crowd, eyes flicking from person to person in curiosity and an almost carnivorous sort of glint. She'd have to meet them all sooner or later. Just not... now, when she imagined they were all supposed to have their srs-faces on. The sun trainee sighed. Oh well.

Surprisingly, when Wilson woke up he didn’t feel sick. There was no nausea or feverish chill or even the imperfect vision (alright so he still needed reading glasses but there were no distortions now okay). However, he still spent most of his morning sprawled on Gale’s couch while he blankly stared outside the window until he heard his phone ring. His gaze was still blank when he stared at his screen and read the text. Somewhere behind him he heard the door shut and he assumed the others had just left. He scratched his head, stood up, and followed after them.
There were a fair number of people already there when he arrived. He briefly looked around to see who exactly was there before he recognized Madeline. Wilson managed to smile and wave as he walked over to the other trainee. “Hey there again.”

Tori looked at the text that she had gotten. Sighting a little as she got up from her chair at the Library, jotting down a few quick notes and put her notebook into her jacket pocket. Glad that she didn't feel sick any longer as it had been hard to concentrate on anything even reading and that made Tori a little irritated while being sick. Tori quickly headed to the designate room since she didn't want to be late to draw the attentions of Caelius to herself.
Walking into the room with just a little time to spare as Tori quietly looked around the room to see who was there. Spotting Ami did Tori quickly go over to were her friend was sitting and sat next to her. "Heya Ami," Tori said quietly to her friend.

The familiar voice caught Madeline by surprise, and turning, she grinned at Wilson like a shark grinning at its prey, only to be told to turn it down by Arsenios in between cackling and thats my girl. "Mornin' doll. Whats up?" She said amiably, uncrossing her arms to give a lazy, cat-like wave with one hand. Her eyes flicked over him briefly, brows furrowing into a slightly curious look. "You still alive and kickin' after that flu thing?" She hadn't been a part of it personally, but even magically caused illnesses weren't something exactly well hidden in a place like this. And as a former pre-med student she might have found it just a bit fascinating, Really though, only just a bit.

Jason was seriously thinking about calling in sick. He wasn't sure if it was even possible for a hunter to call in 'sick', let alone a trainee, but even with this thoughts in mind, he still walked into the briefing room, found a seat, and waited to hear what the leads would say today.
...Maybe if he looked really ill, they might let him stay back?

MEEETTTINGS....turned eventually on to adventures, and even though this last adventure had left Ofelia throwing up and feeling like she was going to break in half it was still worthwhile to come and check things out. Plus a text message from the Death Guy (she kept forgetting his name) wasn't anything that could be ignored if her memory served her well.
It also kept her thinking that every time he called for something the adventure happened to be more amazing and less drama. Ofelia preferred amazing to drama, thank you very much. That being said she slipped into the room and took a seat, her face still a little ashen from her time spent worshiping the toilet.

When the sun trainee turned toward him, he furrowed his brows at her smile. It was big and kind of like…Noooo that was probably his imagination. Wilson smiled back before he slid into the chair next to Madeline’s. “Alright,” he answered, leaning back into the chair. “Oh! Yeah, that flu. Haha. Um, well, I feel much better today, yes. I should be fine now.” Hopefully. He scratched the back of his head. “What about you? Acclimated to island life and all that?”

"BUT IT WAS INTENTIONAL!" The voice came from outside the room as one scraggly brown-haired extremely run-down excuse of a Hunter accompanied by two other extremely nonplussed Hunters all but burst into the room. "I LEAD THEM THERE LIKE WE HAD SAID!"
Mark managed to wrangle himself enough away enough to pull out his actual cell phone. "Look, I set them up with a bogus cell phone, and then I, being clever if I don't say so myself, pretended to send the victims a text as Caelius and-"
"You what."
Slowly, very slowly, the Death assistant backed away a few steps, gladly readmitting himself back into the two Life Hunter tech's grasps. "Er uh, I did, uhhhh good things and I was like, super evil and stuff and they were all awed by my awesomeness?"
Awkward silence. In fact, it seemed almost like the two had forgotten that anyone else in the room existed. A tumbleweed could have blown across the not-so-perfectly round replacement table that Allan had finally gotten Caelius as a gomenasai present, though it would take Mark another week to scrub off the Hello Kitty decor on the surface of the not-so-perfectly round table.
"Anyway, I'll be at, the golem station-" A glare from the one of the Life techs reconfirmed that Mark would be nowhere near the Life labs again if they could help it - "Picking up some... samples.... and stuff..." Mark practically withered under his boss's glare. "...and they're already in trap corridor A and I'm just going to leave now okay, thanks, um like, peace out."
No amount of Life techs could catch the Death assistant at this point as he ran for his miserable yet oddly competent life's worth.
Silence again. It was very possible that this would be the last time the trainee's ever saw of the visionary Mark. Farewell Mark, maybe someone would remember you and you would have your own little grave and flag at half-mast, and maybe someone who wasn't a certain Sun division lead who liked to place Pocky in front of all the graves would visit you. Maybe.
"You will," It seemed Caelius was teetering on the edge of a few dangerous emotions, which he had shown and proved time and again he had no qualms taking out on anyone within the vicinity, "Access prototype H golems at point 1698 now. You will find next to your golem standard trap guns. Once you have arrived, take the first corridor down, and await further ******** orders."
His cell phone rang once - and promptly was thrown out the window. "You are dismissed."

Ami stared sort of wide eyed at the two arguing men. Well this was sort of awkward. She didn't say anything though- Ami actually rather liked living.
When all was said and done, she got up and left to go get in a golem. She'd never done this before ... It would be interesting.

Jerry was late. He scrambled as fast as he could, just in time to see words flying and people heading over to the Pod Room for Golem duties.
Oh god, Golems. As he shuffled after, he prayed this time he would at least get a MALE golem. Thus far his luck had been poor on that front.

Back in the room, Gale was absently tugging on his scarf, a look of mild annoyance on his face as he took a seat back at the not-so-perfectly table.
He was back to being short again.
