Jerry almost lost the couch as they made their way up the steps one step at a time, his face flushing behind his spiderweb of scars, "Oh er... it's getting better! If I ease myself into it I might be able to get back to where I was... but... It was um. A bad mission. Not as bad as the one I.. urk, careful," He panted, happy to take most of the weight while she directed them upwards, "Got my burns from... or that Christmas party, ahahaha I almost died. It's er.. certainly possible but I think the stairs are... the least of our worries, ahahahah..."

"If you... ah... if... hold up," He gasped as they made it to the top and he had to set the thing down again, promptly sitting on it the moment she let go, "Just gotta'... catch my breath, ahaha. It's been... been a long day. Missions?. Oh er... well, I suppose if you always expect the unexpected than they go exactly as expected. I would love to tell you you er... get used to it after a while but, ahahahha. There you have it, there it is."

"There aren't many of us," He smiled weakly before stiffly getting up again to stretch. "Allan-taichou is our leader," He mispronounced the Japanese suffix not on purpose. "He er... is a huge anime fan. Indulge him. ahaha... then there's Simon our division Assist, he.... er.... well... he hasn't shot me yet, so I do like to believe there's a touch of compassion under his steely exterior! But um. Yes, best to stay under his radar. As far as I know I'm the only full Sun Hunter not on call, although I'm sure the others will be promoted soon! I'm surprised, honestly, Jordan isn't full Hunter yet! He's... he's pretty much my best friend, at least my best guy-friend, ahaha. Then there's Bix and Tedan and er.... Ofelia, she's a bit odd," He added in a side whisper. "I'm sure there's more of us but ah... Suns sort of... well, it's our job to be in the front line if you know what I mean," He nervously picked at his cheek scar again before rubbing his hands together, "Ah, ready? I'm just down the hall here..."

"Oh yes, tons! I have a few friends in Life and Moon- Moon is especially good for a Sunny to bond with, they're our shields, remember! Mists are good too, since they're like wild-cards. Usually Harrison or Wash moon for me, but it's always good to branch out, your immediate friends aren't always the ones there to watch your... urk... back..." He huffed as they began their heft once more. The new room soon came into sight and Jerry beamed as he set the thing down again to fish for his keys, "Goodness, I can't wait to get this place together..."

"Ah, yeah, really recently. My old room was destroyed some time before my promotion when that Insanity phoenix took over the facilities- er... yes, be happy you're not here for the bunker, ahahaha. But I was... was staying with a friend," He murmured, coughing as he managed to pop the door open, "Until now! Ah... Tada!! Not much, but! It's all mine!"

Inside was... an empty room. The walls were bare, but intact, a vintage Little Shop of Horrors watercolor poster that had been torn and wrinkled and retaped hung on the wall as the only decoration. In the corner was a couple cardboard boxes, one being used as a make-shift table for a kazoo and what looked like a standard-issue Lamp that came with the room. Beside that leaned an acoustic guitar, cracked on the body but glowing a faint blue within the trench. "Most of my things were destroyed anyway, but the important things remained.

He crossed the bare floor, surveying where they could land the thing. "Over here would be good, right?"

What wasn't an open closet (empty) were two doors, one apparently leading to a nearly empty bedroom with a bare, default double bed and what looked suspiciously like his very own bathroom.

He beamed as she complimented his poster. Raving about it would wait until later, and as for the guitar... "Help me get that in here, and you can give her a play!" Jerry smiled proudly as he trotted his way back out to the hallway to take his side of the couch, "I got a small raise but it's still tricky to afford everything. I figure a few raids I'll find more like this one!" He patted the couch, "Ready?"

"Well you don't get to keep her! Ahaha, alright, here we go... heave! And... er... twist it sideways- ah... c-counter clockwise! The other way! Yeah, alright here we go-" They navigated through the doorway, and the hard part was done. Pushing it up against the wall opposite the bathroom he beamed triumphantly, flopping on it to stare at his poster as though watching a TV. "There we are! Home sweet home! I'm hoping to start giving out music lessons for some extra money between missions. Everyone needs a healthy outlet, right? Go ahead, it should be in tune... oh! Be right back!" And the lanky man hopped up again to limp his way into the bedroom.

By the time she had gotten her groove on, a lighter, higher plunka-plunka began to accompany her as Jerry stepped out of his bedroom with ukulele in hand and a smile on his face as he played along.
