Amphi looked back to her boilfriend one last time as they disappeared around the bend to the school campus and then looked back up to Austin.

"His face?" She blankly asked, "Oh..That's a good thing! it would be sad if you didn't love him?" she offered and then blinked, "um...Thank you. Your very handsome yourself sir. Um...Like a older Roch..." She muttered the last part, "My favorite things?" Her brows furrowed down and then smiled, "I like a lot of things. Though my favorites are Singing and swimming. That's cause I'm a mermaid though..." She puffed her chest proudly, "ah...I also like reading and stalking. Apparently stalking is my new hobby! its how I met Roch." She nodded, "And sometimes Danny does it with me too." She bit her lip thinking of more things. "Um....I like visiting Roch too, and Danny and Lizzy and Xiu. So I guess making friends! And asking questions." She nodded her head more.

"I usually ask lots of questions." She flushed, her eyes darting from Austin to the puppies to the ground back to Austin. "Though I think Roch was swayed cause I sing to him a lot." Yes that was it. She had seduced her boilfriend by singing. Yes.

"Course not!" she said, "Why would I ever be bothered by them being best friends! Besides, I like hugging Danny and Roch together too! And Danny is the best." Danny was ALWAYS the best. They were OTP after all. Forever and ever.

"And besides, Roch wouldn't be Roch without Danny. They love each other very much." The mermaid shrugged, "But apparently there is a ghoul named Edel that Danny doesn't like and that Roch likes. I haven't met her outside of being minipets but I will have to be wary of her."

What, no. Why did Edel matter!?!?

She got distracted when Dallas trotted over to her, headbutting her leg. They had exited out of the school and started the walk to the town.

Amphi stared up at Austin, her eyes widening.

"No no no no." She shook her head. "I know Roch chooses good friends! I am best friends with Xiu, she is amazing. Ah but I don't know Amrita well, I met her once too, she was really kind. Danny is the best." Again, she repeated that, "I don't know Mot though..." He sounded familiar.

"But Danny says Edel is bad, but Roch likes her. Its confusing." She blinked, "Oh..Nahm and Ahm!??!" Her face turned a full shade of deep red at the mention of the grue. Nahm had well...had some curiouser takes on...yes. Something not to be discussed with Austin because yes. Embarrassing.

"I mean, I haven't met all of Roch's friends. But since Roch is not bad of a person, I don't see him surrounding himself with bad people." She nodded, as if that made sense. To her at least.

"Oh but...Okay..." she wouldn't worry out loud but..."Maybe! I've never heard of Danny disliking anyone either..." She nodded. and then stopped dead.

"Naming...naming your puppy?" Oh god, blank moment. Names names names names names names.

Well hers was Dallas cause of Tex and Treble was Treble cause Roch like his minipets to have music related names and....

"His name..." Um, oh god, this was so much pressure and she didn't want to upset Austin and she had no idea what to say so she just said what came to her mind, "His name should be Dog." Yep. That's it, thats all she could come up with.

"I mean, no, I mean sorry, that was horrible. Of course he is a dog, he doesn't need to be named one." She closed her eyes...."What about like...Rock...or um....Blues....or um....Jazz?" She didn't even know now. She was just naming music genres.

"Ah yes!" She nodded, "Since you and Roch are related, your pets should have related names! But you can't have the same as Roch, like Riff and Chord and stuff....so that leaves you genres." She nodded, the pups were still pretty calm as they headed into the bad part of town.

Amphi instinctively moved closer to Austin, no prompted needed as she laid her hand on his arm and warily looked around.

Good...No overly friendly people what so ever!

"Instruments?" She looked up at him and thought about it..."Well its a little different under the sea, but I guess I play something similar to a harp for landwalkers? But I am mostly good at singing. I like how Danny and Roch play instruments though!" She really wished she could learn to play too.

"Does your scythe work like Roch's? And Texas's?" Meaning did his turn into a musical weapon too??

"I like it!" She approved, smiling as they came closer to Vegas's joint, practically bouncing. She loved Monica! Barely knew Vegas but the old reaper hadn't been too bad!

"A saxophone?" She blinked at him and then laughed, "I've never seen Roch fall asleep to music! He must be comforted a lot by it then." Sometimes Amphi fell asleep when Undine sang to her but...you know....usually thats cause she was meant to fall asleep.

"Oh...I promise to look closely and not let Vegas pull a fast one over me!" She was picking things up from Roch now. Her face detriemened in case Vegas would summon it for some reason. Cause it happened.

"I wonder if I can see Monica soon!" She flounced up the steps, smiling at Bruno. "Hello Bruno!"

Roch glanced up, having been working on his staining. Then he tugged his headphones out, looking at Danny blankly. "Huh? Did you say something?" It was hard to tease a guy when he couldn't hear you, y'know?

"Hello Ms. Amphi," Bruno said with a grin. Then he paused, looking at her more closely. "Ahhh, I see. Morning Mr. Austin," he said, not explaining WHAT he saw. "Pretty early for the likes of you."

"It's before noon, I know. Why are YOU here this early, Bruno?"

"The boss is having a... meeting."

"Well then, this should be interesting. Can you hold these three for me, Bruno?" Austin asked, separating the leashes and keeping the gray pup only. "We have a gift for the old man." Then he headed in before Bruno could protest.

Danny rolled her eyes and slid over to Roch, holding the board he was staining down so it wouldn't slip out of his grasp. "I SAID I'm gonna help you."

She shoved his side and added, "And I asked where your ghoulfriend is!"
