Narisa: Attacking Fi'o
A cry escaped her lips as the kick caught her in the side and sent her all the way to the ground. She moved as quickly as she could to get back to her feet, resorting to grabbing anything off the ground her hand could snatch to throw at Fi'o while she tried to put some distance between them. It was painfully obvious that Fi'o had more fighting experience then the goldrider. But shardit, she would do her best! She had no other choice.

Ivanhoth, Defending Against Cepheith
You are not the one they bring their concerns before. And what if they did? If you were leader, would you give it up? Would you cede to a wherhandler? Or even to a green dragon? Would a bronze give way to a blue? I do not think so!
Shrieking as she went for his wings, he drew them in to protect them from being shredded and dropped, but claws still caught elsewhere.

Fi'o, Attacking Narisa
Whatever it was that Narisa threw - a rock, it felt like - she scored a direct hit to the brownrider's forehead, even breaking open the skin. Lips pulled back in an expression akin to a snarl, Fi'o stooped to pick it up and advanced, lobbing it hard at her opponent.

Cepheith: Attacking Ivanhoth
Then it is their own faults for not bringing their concerns to my attention! Cepheith hissed, doing a barrel roll style flip to follow right on Ivanhoth's tail. If I was leader, I would not. I am a Gold. I know my place. And know the responsibilities that come with it. It is not my fault for being the dragon I am. But I will do the best I can. At that means doing what is right. Not hunting humans like they are fat wherries free for the taking. There was a hint of pain and sadness in Cepheith's tones.
However, I cannot forgive the hurt that has been caused to my rider. Or our friends. She said grimly, moving in for another attack.

Narisa: Attacking Fi'o
Narisa was breathing hard, pain throbbing throughout her body. She barely had enough time to feel satisfaction at seeing whatever she'd thrown score a hit before it was sailing back at her with the brownrider right behind it. The goldrider felt something heavy connect with the side of her head, making her eyes water. Without thinking much on her actions, Narisa spun around and attempted to backhand her attacker.

And that is much of what is wrong with this world. Why should you lead just because you are a gold? Why should a bronze lead just because he catches you? You relegate the 'lesser' colors to lesser tasks based on the color of hide alone, regardless of their true capabilities, and only metallics may rise to power. Power that is never earned, only determined by who Flies when and who catches them.
Those in power would never change this world. They would keep it the way it is, for no other reason than to preserve their power! The only way to make change is to tear down the old ways. This time, Ivanhoth was fast enough to avoid the gold's attack, and he worked to regain the height he had lost.

The brownrider grinned with spiteful satisfaction when the projectile connected, an expression that barely even wavered as the girl backhanded her. She wouldn't show that it hurt, not to her enemy. Fi'o tried to strike out at Narisa, but her aim had been skewed.

Cepheith: Attacking Ivanhoth
Cepheith snarled, crimson eyes pinning the brown with her stare. We cannot change who we are. We can either accept our fates or deny them. You have chosen to deny yours, alleying yourself with traitors who demand nothing but bloodshed. I have chosen to accept what I am. She made a wide arc, flying lower to build up speed from her descent before moving to strike from below. The Queen was done, though there was a small bit of sorrow in her at not being able to bring Ivanhoth back around. She would not listen to anymore of these...distractions. Her rider was hurting! Cepheith wanted this battle over with quickly. So she could get to her rider.

Narisa: Attacking Fi'o
She didn't know what it was about this rider, but Narisa felt an inkling of fear blossom in the pit of her stomach. Her vision was slightly blurry and too many places ached and throbbed when she moved. The Goldrider wasn't sure how much more of this she could take, but she would sharding try! She ducked the strike, calling up on the minor defense training she'd been given recently and kicking out heavily at the brownrider's middle.

Our color does not make us who we are! We will make a future where we determine our own fates, and not let them be decided for us! The brown roared, trying to roll away from her strike. He couldn't escape it entirely, but it turned a blow that would have brought him out of the sky into one he could bear. For now.

The girl was getting desperate, and it showed - and it hurt. The kick connected hard, and Fi'o doubled over, grunting. Sharding goldrider! Forcing herself to straighten and go back on the offensive, she threw another punch at Narisa.

Cepheith: Attacking Ivanhoth
The Queen didn't reply, all her attention focused on the brown dragon she fought...and her hurting rider. It was worrying Cepheith that Narisahers thoughts were so fuzzy. And she wasn't responding as easily to anything the Gold said. Wings spread wide, Cepheith scowled down past Ivanhoth towards the ground. With a roar mixed in fear and rage, Cepheith folded her wings and dove towards the humans, intent an removing her rider from danger if she had to pluck her up herself. Of course, she planned on taking Ivanhoth down with her, the Gold reaching out to drag the brown to the ground.

Narisa sucked in a breath, trying to back up and avoid getting hit while crossing her arms to deflect the blow. She was positive if she got another punch like that one it was going to send her to the ground. And she feared she might not make it back to her feet again.

Ivanhoth tried to escape the Queen's reach, tried keep from being dragged to the ground, but he wasn't quite fast enough. She didn't get as good a hold of him as she might have, though, and had he been stronger, he might have been able to struggle free, but he was fading fast. As he was pulled downwards, he flared out his wings, trying to slow their descent as much as he could.

Fi'o, Attacking Narisa
Good. If Fi'o kept her on the defensive and managed to avoid taking any more damage herself, she just might be able to pull this off. She would win here. She had to make sure Ivanhoth's pain was worth it. She surged forward, aiming to hit Narisa as hard as she possibly could.
