To this, Endymion just smiled. Time for an introduction.
Reaching over, he took the hilt of his sword in one gloved hand, and pulled out, revealing that it was indeed a sword, and a polished one at that. "Protector, Leader, Future King, and Leader of the knights of Earth..."He turned the sword about in a elegant fashion, one of the few tricks he knew with the sword that severed very little purpose aside from looking very sleek, before he placed the tip into the soft, fertilized lawn before his polished boots. "Father of Chibimoon, Husband of Serenity, Prince Endymion." To which he gave a regal bow - but not too low.
He rose back up, smiling at the humor of his introduction, and if the other bought it. "Beryl should have updated the generals. I'm sure they will give some rather..flattering portrayals of me." All of which he could give a rat's a** about.
Taking the sword, he slid it back into it's hilt before returning to watch the other. "After briefing, I hope you don't just approach me this casually. I have a image to uphold after all. It's lucky this place isn't populated by senshi or any knights. You could have caused a lot of problems for me."

"Quite the introduction, lengthy and normally I'd say unnecessarily so but it is useful." But it gave him more questions. How come a Prince felt like he was weaker and how come he was the leader of the Knights and yet didn't feel like one. It left questions for the ash blond General and while he'd normally ask it was apparent he needed to ask someone else. He'd heard of Beryl and even seen her, really a Christmas tree!, but he had never spoken to her and honestly after seeing her temper tantrum he wasn't sure he ever wanted to.
"If she updated the Generals it would have to have been before I was promoted, and no one since then decided to fill me in." Painite...she would have told him if she knew, right? Did she not know or had it slipped her mind? He didn't think much slipped her mind but perhaps she thought he already knew? He'd have to speak with her, the next meeting he'd ask her.
"Forgive me for being blunt." But it's how he was and as much as he should wait and ask someone else everything he had questions he wanted answered now. "But what is you position in the Negaverse? I've never heard of nor seen you. What duties do you have that would have you dealing with senshi and knights?" Yes, he really should ask someone else but he liked to have a clue of things, before he went seeking full answers from someone else. He didn't like to be clueless now.
"And as for myself I'm Benitoite." He did bow as well, not that low but as low as the other had.
When he saw Painite he'd be asking her if she knew of the Prince being on their side as well as anything else she knew about him. He didn't like not knowing, and it seemed like another piece to this large puzzle that made up the war was coming to light. He wondered how many more pieces there were, it seemed like when he thought it was mostly figured out the puzzle got bigger with more missing pieces. What was going on in the shadows?

That was not the sort of commentary he was asking for. In fact, he was liking the idea of this boy talking less and less now that he seemed to think his introduction, which he didn't even need to give him but had been generous enough to offer, was 'unnecessary'.
For the blunt question, Endymion matched it. "It's not my job to fill you in. Speak to your generals, and ONLY your generals. Every moment with you is jeopardising a mission far beyond your small scope. I can only hope you have the common sense not to go about sharing information about our encounter with anyone else or else you'd single-handedly destroy months of planning, and there would be grave repercussions for it - and not from me." He'd pull out the Beryl card whenever it seemed to work for him, which was very few and far between.
"I have important work to do." To which he adjusted his gloves and flicked his cape, turning about.

"Of course, not a word to anyone else." He may speak a lot to senshi and knights alike but not something like this, not about plans. He wouldn't risk the war, or others lives. He didn't go tossing out names or other things.
"Keep safe, and let's hope whatever your doing works." He really would need to talk to Painite at the next meeting...but far away from everyone else. Maybe a private meeting would be a better way to go about finding out about this. It would be more secure. Turning as well he headed off, the idea of his ac and bed sounded very good right now.
Taking a few steps he passed between the bushes, the same ones which had earlier attacked him, and deciding he wanted to get home fast he teleported closer to home and into an alleyway where he could power down and finish the trek home on foot as a civilian.
