"Ya ya ya." He reached over to push the waggling finger aside. "I'd still rather get him something that he'd like, you know?" Plus Yin just...took getting gifts rather oddly it seemed. Alex couldn't figure out why he couldn't just be happy about it instead of trying to refuse having gifts given to him.

Alex waited patiently for Mei to order the eyescream, stepping up to the counter to pay when it was appropriate to do so, and then reaching out to take the container in his hands. If it was could, he didn't notice. He gazed at the...whatever the hell it was supposed to be. Green and brown. Those were the colors of vegetation. Though...they were also the colors of his boilfriend. One thing he despised, the other he loved. Hrm.

Minty? Some candy was minty. And chocolate was also bearable. Maybe this would actually be okay after all.

He took a small, sample bite. Again, the coldness was barely even noticeable in his mouth, but something about the taste...or possibly just the consistancy, had his nose wrinkling up slightly. It wasn't like it was awful, but it just was not really his thing. Still, he had paid for it, so he'd try to choke it down.

"What kind is yours?" He asked, gesturing towards it a little after he'd managed to swallow the small bite of eyescream, dishing up another, larger spoonful to shove into his mouth.

Might as well get this over with.

Once that was choked down as well, he began speaking again. "I was thinking maybe he could use some warmer clothes." Yes, back to shopping for Yin talk. "You know, since the colder Octobers are coming, and he doesn't particularly do well in cold weather."
