"Yeah sorry about that.. Heh.." Bix sheepishly laughed, causing his arrow to veer off course and ping the wrong can.
"Sooo.." Bix was a talker and since Otto seemed in a hyper, yet social mood for the moment, he figured maybe he could gossip. "I think me and Molly are okay. Just friends though. And I'm not all crazy about it anymore.."

"Ohya? Managed to patch it up?" Otto asked semi curiously, trying to come off like he didn't care one way or another. "Don't piss her off, dude. She's mean when shes mad."

"I don't know if 'patched up' is the right term but.." He shrugged. "We are friends and we've hung out. It's okay I guess." He obviously would prefer to NOT be friends. He'd prefer to be.... other things.
The thought made him miss. "Girls suck. Sort of." Except for a few. Maybe.

So in other words Bix lost the battle against the dreaded Friend-zone. Bummer for Bix. "That's rough, dude." Otto muttered, flinging Tenya across the yard. "Gunna give it to ya straight up; she ain't budgin'. Once you're Friendzoned, that's the end."

Otto's eyes went wide and he gave Bix a look that said 'are you shittn me, bro?'. Otto was never really a ladies man, and in his mind it wouldn't change any time soon. Wooing ladies usually entailed being some semblance of nice and decently behaved. Work. More work than it seemed worth.
"Eva and Reine?" He answered, throwing Tenya out into the field again. "Uh.. I don't know what happened to Reine.. I haven't seen her in a long time.." He'd tried not to think about it until Bix brought her up. Worst case scenarios went through his mind and he chose not to give it any thought.
"Eva's just a friend." He muttered, catching the flying weapon.

Bix missed his next shot and frowned. "She's probably fine." Otto didn't say he was worried but he felt he should reassure anyway. "Tika just came back and she was missing forever. Turns out she was just at one of the outposts. Also Ceres is back.." He paused, unsure. She hadn't been too keen on people knowing she'd been back in the pods. "She's uh.. she's really cool."
You spend like all your time with her.
Why do you only speak up to lecture me on things now?
Mina's silence prevailed again with a hissing snicker but Bix knew she wasn't wrong. He'd hung out with Ceres a lot. Most of his time with his cold was spent in a blanket on her floor or at the foot of her bed. She was just.. fun and cool and easy to be around. The more he thought about it the more he felt he was thinking too much so he just moved on.
"Worst case scenario is they put her back into the pods. Not really.. a nice prospect but... at least she's alive."

All those examples helped a bit. There were a lot of possibilities. Heck, maybe she was even just avoiding him. That seemed likely. "Ceres? Ugh.." Otto grouched, his lip curling. His hair practically stood on end. "That b***h.."
Bix's example of Worst Case Scenario left otto quiet for a moment. "You're wrong.. worst case is she's in the ground." Otto huffed lightly. "Don't matter none.. not like I know her all that well."

Bix actually laughed out loud. "Not a fan of Ceres? You are really just not good with first impressions huh?" Otto seemed to clash with everyone. Bix had just learned to have fun with the surly teen and make sure to dish out enough crap to throw back at the blonde.
"Well even if you didn't know her.... " Bix missed his neck shot again. DAMN. He was failing at this. "She liked hanging out with you and that matters." The albino shurgged again. "At least I think so."

Bix nailed it there. First impressions were not Otto's forte. Actually interaction in general was not his forte. He took out his aggression at another pop can. The wrong pop can. "Or maybe she's just a big ol' b***h. Don't mean I had nuthin' to do with it.." He knew that was a lie.

Bix finally hit the correct can and laughed a bit at Otto, especially how he said the word 'child'. "I'm assuming you didn't take the gentleman route and give the lady some soup?"
Bix just shook his head. "Sometimes its easier to just give them what they want you know. Women's wrath is pretty terrible."
