"You got lost, I showed you the way out," Thanatos reminded her with a grin, elbow rested on the side of the armchair, chin resting on his hand as he leaned on his arm for support. He was contend to stay silent for the time being, watching Amphi work out her own internal struggles; he had to wonder if her struggle was linked to her feelings for her clan, or for Undine.
"I'll reiterate. The future is just the present waiting to happen, your choices should solely be your own," Wherever that led her, she would have to work it out, and like always, he would rather play the role of the observer, maybe lending a hand where it was convenient for him to do so.
"Minipets?" The boil sat up straight again, raising an eyebrow, "No, I do not believe I was there... It sounds fascinating, even if battle was involved..." Then again, an Amityville field trip probably just wasn't complete without the 'battle' aspect of it, as pointless as it seemed to him.

"This is true! I had almost forgotten how I got us lost..." She sheepishly looked away, "It seems I lead astray more then lead straight!" Er...if that made sense!
"This is true, I should not worry. My decisions after all will really only shape my future now. I suppose, I will just have to be more careful about what I choose." She shook her head and then smiled.
"Ah yes, We were turned into minipets and shoved into the closet where we explored the minipets world. Roch was a treat, Danny was a pombomb, Edel...do you know Edel? She was a Ice wvyling? And then there was Ren. He was a solar flare?" Amphi narrowed her eyes in thought. "it wasn't a important trip honestly...Hunters were there but...it wasn't like they did anything to us."
She sighed. "Well, it was like most trips I suppose. Hunters and battle included. I suppose Amityville really doesn't know the difference from field trip and well...Battle trips?" She rubbed her eyes tiredly. "I think the smartest next choice I would make, would be to ignore the idea of a field trip and stay home for once."
"Say, watch out for these things though. They look like little shards. They are kinda of weird colored but....when a lot of the students and hunters touched them....they suddenly became obsessed with them. It was odd. So be careful okay?"

"For some people, the only path they know of is the one that deviates from the one going straight. Who knows? That might just be your sort of path," Thanatos answered with a chuckle, failing to mention if he was simply joking. As Amphi went on to talk about the recent trip, he listened, not really saying anything as he sipped his tea; the idea of being turned into a minipet was intriguing since he hadn't heard of such a thing before. Besides, for a long time, what laid behind the minipet closet was largely a mystery.
"Perhaps for this school, those two are one and the same," He replied once Amphi was done with her explanation, "Is that so? Who's to say what's a smart choice and what's not... But I shall be careful to avoid weirdly colored little shard-like objects, since you insist."
A pause followed as he put his cup back down on the table, "You look like you could use a little more rest."
