"I'm gonna," Roch said. "It's gonna be jackin' EPIC," he bragged. "Soon as I figure out what the jack I'm doin," he added dryly. "Already worked on the stage at the Old Crypt--I figure that's where some of it will take place, but it ain't big enough for the whole thing. I'm gonna ask around, see who knows what happened last time."
Then he shrugged. "But I wanna make it a party," he said. "Like even with people that aren't in the competition havin' fun. I was thinkin' we could get ahold of some food stands and games and stuff--and maybe even a bounce house!"
A bounce house. Seriously, Roch? You need to spend less time with nine year olds, man...

"The Old Crypt's not big enough for all of it? This is gonna be some event you're planning," Nahm said, eyes glinting with interest. "Get enough people on it and I bet you'll be able to pull something big. I can ask the cousins if they know of any deals on stuff, once you know what stuff you're looking for."

"Thanks, man!" Roch said. "I appreciate it. I thought for sure I was gonna have to go to the old man," he added, making a face. The idea of consulting Vegas over his first big job made him feel like he was cheating.
"I wonder if Amrita was around when the first one happened," he added thoughtfully. Then he shrugged. "Eh, I'll ask her later. Right now I'm hungry. Wanna go get somethin' to eat?"

Nahm shrugged. "Use the contacts you got," he said philosophically. It was the principle his business generally revolved around.

"Only cuz I still haven't given gramps his bastardcard back yet," Roch said cheerfully. He was SO going to get it once the old man caught him, but he didn't care. "Spook's?" he asked, heading for the door. "Or, wait, I know, let's find an all you can eat buffet."
Sounded like a plan to him!

"Sounds good to me," Nahm grinned, and pulled his scarf closer round his face in preparation for going out into daylight. He padded over to the door, swung it open, and bowed dramatically. "After you, good sir."

Roch paused and looked around, equally dramatically, "Jackdammit, Nahm, why didn't you TELL me there was a good sir in here?" he demanded, looking at the most likely places to hide the body. "Y'got him hidden under the floorboards, don't you?" he added, looking for a handle somewhere.

Roch reached down, picking up one leg of the bed to look under it, clearly not caring if he was incriminating the grue or not.

An assortment of clothes and random objects was under the bed. So was Mr. Snappy. At the sudden intrusion, the foxfire started up his low, grumbling growl, clearly unhappy to have had his nap interrupted.
Nahm's tail thwapped against Roch's leg. "Learn your classics man. So uneducated. I'm getting hungry, are we gonna go eat or something?"

"If it ain't music or illegal, I don't know it!" Roch said cheerfully, putting the bed back down and heading out the door. "Sushi? They got this rotating thing right in front of you, y'can hold out an arm and just CATCH all of the things. It's jackin' BEAUTIFUL."
And he was wondering if Amphi liked sushi now.
