Yeah, I see where you're coming from. I guess I'm just being too ambitious with my character at this point in time. sweatdrop

You're not. Just keep in mind when rewarding your character we might have to get creative.
For example we might award you with robes that blend into the dark better or have camouflage patterns. It just depends if we can keep making s**t up.
We have to keep missions worthwhile somehow to the RPer of course.

Looking at Fists and the other Weapons Skills wouldn't Melee Defense and Close Combat Defense basically be the same thing? Is there a specific distinction between the two?
What a character with bladed gauntlets? Would they go for the Bladed Weapons skill or Fists?

What a character with bladed gauntlets? Would they go for the Bladed Weapons skill or Fists? Melee defense includes weaponry into the equation, while Close combat is fist on fist. It's the difference between using a dagger or mace to parry a strike, and catching the opponent's weapon or attack with your bare hands. And you should have known better than to ask me where my own weapon falls in this equation. Bladed Gauntlets rely on the Fists category.

Argh, typing with one hand is one of the most annoying things I've ever done.
Anyways, are my aspects and items okay? I posted part of my character in the profiles section, but I'll post them here if it's easier.

As for my other question I thought it was a legitimate one. It's sharp while being on the hands which might've become convoluted in meaning with the bladed gauntlets. -shrugs-

It's not necessary. The name of the Bankai is the full name and the name of the Shikai is the name minus some small details.
You can add it in if you want though. I just fail to see any purpose.

I think I did everything right, but just one question:
I notice for the skills, people have been choosing 2 superb skills, 2 great, 2 good, and so on... to use up the 30 points allowed. Do we have to follow that format? Or can we do anything as long as it doesn't go above 30 (within reason of course)?

It's the easiest to follow if you want access to Super Skills. You have to build your skills up in a formation that either looks like a tower or a pyramid.
So your skills would either look like this.
5 Skill Skill 4 Skill Skill 3 Skill Skill 2 Skill Skill 1 Skill Skill
Or more likely later something like this.
5 Skill Skill 4 Skill Skill Skill 3 Skill Skill Skill 2 Skill Skill Skill Skill 1 Skill Skill Skill Skill
I'm gonna be straightforward. Your one doesn't do that as there are places where the foundations are a bit wobbly. The reason we use the 2x2 formation is because that allows 2 Superb Skills and uses all points.

I believe so. Everything looked sound to me.
Obviously we'll be getting a full guide on Kido and Shunpo out soon so obviously just leave them bare.
