"Hey, hey, don't go panickin' on me," he said, opening the book and pulling out a pile of the protection charms he still had left over from his last sex-ed homework (which he'd failed.) "These things are protection charms--er, they keep the FEAR thing from bein' a problem. Y'just gotta be careful and make sure you use 'em, y'know?" he told her.
Then he opened the book--and realized that Nahm and Ahm had written notes--oh, screw it, he thought. "Er... hey, instead of lookin' together, why don't I loan it to you? That way you can take your time. And now..."
He figured it was time to change the subject. "Hey, remember how I went on that trip? After we found out about... Tex and them?"

"I won't..." She flushed at him, sticking her chin up. "I can handle it!" Er, wrong time to be detrimened about something Amphi. She looked over at the charms and then gasped. "Israfel gave me some of those! and then he gave me Mr. Flufflepuff too!" She examined them, "They are different for species right?" She stared at the one that was labelled for monsters. "Okay, So if I ever have sex, then I will use a protection charm." Oh my god Amphi what even I don't even know.
"Oh...Okay..." She took the book and smiled at him, cradling to her chest. "Thank you!" And then blinked at the change of subject.
"Yes! I missed you a lot but...You came back. Also you said something about breaking into your old house?"

Not gonna lie, he went still for a moment as she said that so easily. His mind went straight to the "who with" question, which he promptly shoved back down again. "Yeah," he said, reaching over and grabbing the small box of picks from the desk. "Gramps and Dad gave me these and his cowboil hat," he said, opening the box and showing her the picks. "I haven't tried them yet... but y'know... there IS one way I can bring you pleasure," he told her, looking at her with a tiny smile. Then he adjusted his hold on his guitar. "One that I'll admit might be an unfair advantage. But you deserve it," he decided. Then he started to play--and to sing.

She blinked at his stillness and then cocked her head to the side. Oh...well...Oh. I guess it would be important to him if she was having...er...sex. Because she was a boil she was attracted to. One she liked a lot. Perhaps even they-but oh...Her face turned bright red and she instantly looked away. No Amphi, these thoughts were bad....and she couldn't keep tempting Roch when he was trying so hard.
But why try so hard when she could just say those little magical words...just...
"Oh..." A song! All thoughts drifted away as she tapped to the melody, watched him as he sung to her again. He always did that and it just....made her heart lurch even more. Like HE was seducing her or something....Yes that was it. Roch had seduced her. :'|
When he finished though, she flushed. It wasn't fair. She just wanted to experience more pleasure from him. He sang to her, and she ended up wanting more from him. She always wanted more from Roch. Songs and hugs weren't enough! She pushed herself up on the bed, lifting on her knees....and....
Taking his chin in her small hand, she gently tilted it to her and stared at him. Her face bright red as she studied his face. Handsome, lean and caring....she knew when he looked at her...he cared. So she was disappointed in herself for not showing him the same respect that he had given her and laid her lips on his, her eyes still open as she leaned over him.
"I still have to talk to Thana, Roch..." She held his gaze as she pulled back quickly, "Because He is my friend. But...I don't...Um..." She tried to think of the words that were proper to say, and nothing came to mind. "I want to be with you...but not as your friend." She flushed.
Silly, how a song could make you gain courage and just as easily do it.
"And if you tell me that I am being Rash..." She titled her chin up, "I will...um....sock you or....something." Something she picked up from Danny. Yes.

His mind took a few seconds to reboot. In fact he just stared at her like a moron as he tried to understand what she had just told him--
"Y'mean... um... we just gotta keep us a secret till y'tell your friend?" he said finally, letting his guitar dissipate and dragging her into his arms. "I'm good with that," he said, fingers tangling in her hair as he kissed her on the lips, as well... twice. "I should tell Dan--"
Then he stopped, remembering he was fighting with his best friend again. So he groaned, falling back on the papasan and dragging her with him. "Amphi... I got a problem," he said reluctantly.

"Well no...I mean, I have to talk to Thana-Roch!" She squeaked as he dragged her over, squirming in his hold and then melting as he hands held her in her hair. Two kisses, she thought dizzily. He had kissed her TWICE.
That alone was enough to make the mermaid sigh in contentment. "Danny?" She muffled another squeak as he dragged her down to him, her hands resting on his chest. Um..well...they were...together...so this was alright. Yes. she would be okay with this. Yes.
Her head cocked to the side, "Problem? What's wrong Roch?" And did it require her to heal him? Cause she would! "Did something happen again?" She blinked at his hesitation..."did it have to do with Danny?" she narrowed her eyes.

He sighed, reaching up and pushing her bangs back. "See, I was pupsittin' for Bruno--Gramp's bouncer? Y'know, the big werewolf guy that saved our necks back then. He's got two scarelings, Jesse and James. They're cute little guys, bout nine, and trouble--serious trouble, hell, Jesse snuck into the ghoul's lockerroom--"
Then he shook his head. "But they're werewolves, blue eyes. There's RULES y'gotta follow if y'don't wanna get ran over. There's a pack and there's a pack leader. Well Danny didn't get that. So here I am tryin' to get them to clean up the mess they made in my room before they can eat, and she's talkin' s**t," he said. "Even threatenin' me to make me feed them without cleanin' first. So... I had to kick her out."

She flushed as he drew her hair away from her face, her eyes dropping for a second. But...um...no no, she could look at him. But then it was like a whole new embarassment and shyness to know that she was his, and vice versa. Like...and the kisses and...Amphi was still reeling from the Kisses.
"Yes! I like Bruno, he was very nice." She focused on that instead of how odd it felt to accept him completely. she was happy enough to explode, and sad that he had a problem. "Oh...What rambunctious pups!" She exclaimed, then laughed, "And curious too?"
Oh...Well she never really knew werewolves...there was LW but the ghoul was so relaxed and calm....But she did have the younger minipet pups with her at the time so...Huh...Weird. "So you have to claim dominance otherwise they'll treat you the same as other pups. It is the same for mermaids, and most other monster species. There is always a higher rank of a monster in your group." Amphi was clearly not the top of her clan, she would be one day though, she was already turning into a promising queen?
"Oh...." Well now Amphi frowned, tapping her fingers on his chest and sighing. "You guys fought..." She wrapped her arms around waist and hugged him. "I don't disagree with what you did Roch..." She breathed in and then let one go, "Maybe because Danny is a demon though...its hard for her to understand...."
"Have you guys talked to each other about it?" She didn't want her boilfriend (oh my jack) and his best friend fighting over it....Danny was one of her close friends too!

"I tried explainin' when it was happenin," he said, torn between feelings as well. Here he was, his first ghoulfriend curled into his side, hugging him, and he was talking about... Danny problems.
What was wrong with him? Seriously? Well, actually it was probably smarter, cuz all that talk about sex and stuff was still a bit too... close.
"Now I wanna make up with her, y'know? Be pals again. But I can't just--I don't think she'll ever get it," he admitted. "Cuz she's a spoiled brat and doesn't like the word no, and she sure as hell doesn't get the whole dominance thing," he said. "So even if I do sit her down and explain, she'll just--do it again the next time I gotta pupsit, I think."

Amphi made a small sound of discontentment. "Well...I suppose...well no..." She murmured, trying to think of just how to solve their problem. her brows drew together in thought, completely unaware that she was really...wrapped around Roch.
"Of course! It's important to make up with friends!" She nodded, her long hair bouncing a bit. "Maybe if we explain it together, Cause I'm a monster? Or maybe...." She frowned again and sighed, "Oh but I think she was just raised differently..."
WHAT DO....Amphi made that face. She really just wanted to squish them together and tell them to say sorry! That sounded like the most genius plan ever. Yes.

"Maybe," he said. "I just hate it when we fight, y'know? It don't happen often, but every once in a while..." He sighed, playing with her hair--and picking at one of the pearl strands in it with a grin. "Y'got so many toys in your hair," he teased. "It's cute."
Then he paused. "Hey... y'know... I want to give you this," he said abruptly, pulling the pick out of his pocket. "Cuz I don't think Tex woulda minded if I gave a few of them away to my real close friends." And he was positive on this fact, after spending his time inside the grim reaper's head.

"It would be hard I think..." She nodded, reaching up to cup his cheeks in her hands and blink. "But I think its good that you guys have a fight. Otherwise she won't know when your upset about something, or She's upset at you for something." Fights happened naturally, and though Amphi was not confrontational, she had fought many times with her sisters.
"What?" She stared at him blankly and then flushed as she felt him tug on the strands of jewels she had placed in her hair. "Oh..Um...thank you...do you want a strand for your hair?" She wondered again, briefly how he would wear a string of pearls in his mohawk. the image actually made her laugh.
Amphi took the pick and then flushed, such a gift, and from his uncles Treasure box? "I will take good care of it!" She mumbled, tucking it safely in the small pockets of her jeans.
"So...What should I do now?" She looked at him again. Just how and what did boilfriends and ghoulfriends do?

"Mmm..." Roch said, thinking about it. "Well, we can sit here and kiss some more, or we can go to a movie--but no holdin' hands outside or anything, or we could go get somethin' to eat--" he listed, thinking about it. "Or all that stuff!"

"Oh..." she flushed again, cocking her head...She liked kisses after all. Especially with Roch...but the idea of going to movie was just as much fun! And to go out with Roch.
"We can't hold hands?" Amphi almost seemed DEVASTATED by that fact. But then she realized that they were on the down low? Whatever that was until she could talk to Thana. Thana deserved to know...
"We can do it all." She decided. Her lips reaching up to meet his, greedily taking them. Her laugh resounding as she pulled back. "I wonder what we should see! i like the ones with lots of explosions and SOUNDS." She started to wiggle away so that she could get her phone.

He grinned, hugging her lightly as she searched for movies with her phone. "Action movies, huh? Yeah, I could go for one of those!" So he tried to see what was on her phone, resting his chin on her shoulder as she searched. "If there's nothin' on we can always rent somethin," he added. "And get some fast food and watch it back here."
And since he was there already, he turned his head, kissing the side of her neck.
