It took everything Candace had not to grin, feeling quite smug over Mitsu's reaction to the mention of a simple name. It was like a dog seeing someone with a tray of bacon. Keep up the act, keep it up. This was a sad situation, Kane. Your friend needs saving. "So you are the same Mitsu.." Kane said quietly, almost..sadly. He forced a smile, nodding his head to confirm her guess that his friend was 'Derykion'.
Seriously, Deryk. That name was so stupid. It sounds like a ******** pokemon.
Ahhh! She was so excited! Kane backed away a step as if worried the ghoul was going to explode. "Sh-she's um...she's good. Yes? She does? She likes walks...and..stuff.." She was even bouncing. Kane resisted the urge to let his eye drift slightly south of the ghoul's face while she bounced. Resist.
Instead, Kane turned his gaze down to the ground, scuffing his toe against a small pebble. "So..that means you haven't seen him, then."

Instantly Mitsu stopped bouncing. If the boil's tone and actions weren't enough then his question was. Something was wrong. "Seen him? N...no have you not seen him?"
Her smile faded to worry. "Do you think he's alright? When did you last speak with him?" Was that why Derykion hadn't gotten back with her? Had something happened?

"Er...not..not for awhile..." Kane was frowning. "A couple friends and I have been looking all over for him, but we don't know how..." Kane turned one wide, pitiful eye and a pathetic little 'help me I am sad and in need of pity hugs' expression on his face.

"Oh no," Mitsu looked deeply worried now. With all the things that had happened with the hunters, could Derykion been taken? Was he in danger? "D..do you know where he might have gone? Any clues at all? I can always help look for him too." He had seemed like such a nice boil and who would look out for Meela! She probably missed Derykion.

Hook, line, and sinker. Again, Candace had to resist the very, very strong urge to smile. This girl was so gullible. Though at the offer to help look for 'Derykion' Kane brightened up considerably, gasping softly and his eye widening. "Really!? You'd do that!? Oh, thank you! Thank you so much! He talked about you a lot, so I was hoping you were the right Mitsu oh thank Jack! Um...well..he kept talking about how he wanted to get into this uh..haunted house? Something like that. But I don't..know where it is..."

When the boil's eye brightened with a bit of hope Mitsu couldn't help but smile, reaching out a hand to pat him on the shoulder. "Of course I'll help. He seemed like a very nice boil." It was odd to hear he had talked about her so much. If he had why hadn't he contacted her? Hmm, maybe it would be best to worry about that later. Right now she needed to focus on where to find....
"T...the haunted house?" Flashes of the last time she had been in the house crossed her mind and Mitsu visibly paled. She had done all she could to avoid that place after...after Stacey had died. How was it she would never forget his name? The way he looked at the time, the sound of his voice and most of all the color of his blood as it poured from the vicious smile slashed across his throat.
It took Mitsu a moment to collect herself out of her daze forcing that reassuring smile on her face. "D...don't worry Kane. I'll do what I can to make sure Derykion is okay and brought home safe. I can find the Haunted House but...its best not to go alone." She explained.
She thought for a moment, worried about dragging to pour undead into the Haunted House with her. Would they be able to look for Derykion with just the two of them? No...it would probably be best to contact her friends. Her seeds group!
"I think I have an idea. I can get my friends to help but since its inside the school maybe we should check it out." How had Derykion gotten inside? Were there other paths from other schools? "Do you have a number I can contact to update you?"

On the outside, Kane was obviously relieved. He was cheerful, happy, and tremendously grateful. Mitsu was the best. She was going to help Kane find his friend and everything would be okay. Everyone would be happy. And safe. This was great!
On the inside? Oh, on the inside Candace was laughing. Kane's eye sparkled with excitement--or was that amusement?--and his body shook with joy. This was perfect. Mitsu's reaction to the Haunted House being mentioned, yes remember what your friends did to that hunter you b***h, to the fact that she said she would invite friends. It was all too good to be true. This was going so well. A part of her waited for everything to blow up, but Candace was going to keep going. She had to. She had to get this done.
A phone? Oh! Yes! A phone!
...Mitsu couldn't know Kane's phone number. It would ruin everything.
Kane's excitement fell a bit. "Oh, uh..no...I had one but I kind of dropped it and a large, hoofed monster accidentally stepped on it." He replied with a sheepish chuckle and a sigh, rubbing his jaw. "But um..that all sounds great!" Bring back the happy. Yes. Totally. "Your friends will help too? How many? Who do I have to thank?" Find out the size of their group to match it...

"Oh...that's too bad." Completely bought it. "Maybe we can meet up here again so I can tell you want I find or even on groanspring or facespook."
As far as friends were concerned Mitsu had to think if she wanted any others outside of her SEEDS group. Surely they could handle it right? "I think I'll ask my boilfriend Shun along with my friends Mot and Hel. It should be a big enough group so that we can watch out for each other." Hel and Shun were certainly formidable and Mot was an excellent shot with his guns. With them along with her she wasn't worried about what would show up. "Really though, I'm glad to help."

Nice save, Mitsu. Nice save. Kane nodded eagerly, his jaw nearly popping out from the action. Oops. That was almost bad. "Okay! We can do that!"
Candace took mental note of the list. Three others with Mitsu. So she'd need three Suns. Not too bad, she knew of three she could count on right now. Kane sighed with relief. "Thank you so much. This means a lot. I'll..I'll stop by here every day to see how it's going, okay? Promise!"

"Alright, I'll try to be here everyday around six. That sound give me and my friends time to investigate. Don't worry. I'm sure we'll find him." She gave the zombie boil a light pat on the shoulder.
"It was nice to meet you, Kane. I'm going to go get in touch with my friends so we can get started." She waved to the boil as she took off toward the dorms and pulled out her phone and started texting.

"Right! Six o'clock! See you then, Mitsu! Thank you so much!" Kane raised an arm to wave as the ghoul walked away, waiting until she was out of sight to relax. Candace finally grinned, a very unfriendly look as she reached into her pocket for the phone Kane supposedly didn't have. She looked all around before just sending off a couple quick texts. Mitsu had talked with her friends and had explored campus but had found little to nothing which she had relayed to Kane when they met up. What was most disturbing about the whole venture was when she started to get texts. Hearing Caramelldansen in her pocket Mitsu withdrew her phone and looked at the sender. She had no idea who this was, it wasn't a saved number. They knew her name though. She was about to reply when another text came through her brows furrowing at the next message. Who was this? Again she was about to reply with that question but the next text held her answer. Derykion.... Eight Text to Derykion Derykion??? Where r u? Ur friend Kane and I are worried.

Inu-Mitsu Text to Mitsuoh thank jack! Uh idk this room is really dark. I cant find Meela she ran off when we heard a noise and wont come to my calls. Inu-Mitsu Text to MitsuKane? rly? hes the best thx! Inu-Mitsu Text to Mitsuneway idk where I am except i think I found the house i was looking for. Candace was finding these texts painful to write. Not because of the subject matter, oh no. Because of the spelling and grammar.

Eight What? Dark room? Do u know how u got there? Eight Yeah, Kane showed up at school. He's worried Eight R u in the Haunted House? U haven't seen hunters have u? Mitsu was becoming more concerned by the moment. Worried about Meela and Derykion. Were they trapped in the Haunted House?
