When we get profiles up and running you just say 'I'm in Squad 11' on your profile.
There's no acceptance process. You're automatically in a Squad when you say you want to be in it since there is no Captain or Vice Captain to accept you.

This definitely saves some hassle and allows players more leeway with their character.

Yep. Ideally it'll allow people to choose the area they'd like to specialise into more easily.

This is unlikely in my case (well, currently anyway) but perhaps you wish to transfer to another squad within the future - would this be possible?

Of course. You are never locked into your squads and although we used to frown on squad hopping that was more a matter of logistics.
Potentially it could create some story with your character about why they've left for another division so if you really want to we'd encourage it.

Yes. You simply change what squad is on your profile. It's not set in stone; the squads are more designed for helping you get ideas of what you want your character to do, rather than limiting it as the only thing you can do.

Oh, awesome! Totally fixes all the major things going wrong with most guilds these days. Much approval. Also, I just checked out the profile skeletons, aspects, skills, etc. threads. It's really cool and well planned out and I'm super excited to try it out (<-huge DnD nerd). It's always nice to see something new and refreshing. I have just one question though: Throughout the RP, will one be able to add to the amount of skill points available to allot, as their rpc grows in experience, or will it forever be stuck at 30 and thus never able to improve?

There's a whole system we'll be using to advance skills and Aspects. There'll be some tweaks here and there, but rest assured that you can and will improve over time.
The number is actually only for initial generation. After that, you'll have two options. One is to add a new skill to the Average level, which is a good way to diversify. The other is to advance a skill you already have to the next level up, so long as you'd have an equal or greater number of skills on the level below.

Fighting Fefnir There's a whole system........skills on the level below. And I'm guessing this will have it's own section on the profile skeleton, or will it be an entirely separate post/thread?

There will be a post dedicated to it in your profile thread. That way we can keep track of the changes your character makes over time.

Fighting Fefnir There will be a post.....makes over time. Ok, awesome. You guys should put out a guild announcement when the guild is ready to accept profiles and stuff. Also... will Iu Hana be making any appearances at all, because that would become super awkward for me.....

If we're implementing a tabletop system, does that mean that we are going to have levels and such? How will exp be determined?
With no defined leaders, who will be in charge?
And squad 13 ... Religious Zealots don't fit in as a class really. I mean no offense, but Westburrow Church has no place in the Gotei. I would recommend a better class to fit in here. Maybe a tracker/hunter squad or something?
Do we get to keep our old characters and reformat them to the new layout, or is everyone starting at ground 0.

I just want to go into the third squad a bit with a hypothetical to understand. Suppose Party A, the Shinigami, are to meet with possible enemy/ally, Party B. The diplomatic group, suppose things do get violent, would the situation call for said group that are Shinigami to defend, or wait for reinforcement as a group effort with other squads being called in to save and protect? I just want to see how the squad would work before making a true decision. I have read the above posts about squad hopping, however, I prefer to see if I can make an educated decision before doing such act.
